Sinundan niya naman ako at umupo sa tabi ko. "Sorry ah gatorade lang dala ko" Paghingi niya ng sorry.
Napatigil naman ako sa pag inom ng gatorade ko. "It's okay, you actually don't need to bring us gatorade though thank you" Naka smile na paliwanag ko.
"Do you know how to play basketball?" I suddenly have the urge to talk and ask her.
She smile "Yeah" Nahihiyang sagot niya. "Dad and Bai taught me" She looks so happy mentioning her Dad.
"Let's do 1v1 then?" Birong hamon ko sa kaniya.
She look at me. "Are you sure 'bout that?" Palaban na tanong niya sakin.
I laughed. "I guess you don't know I am a basketball Varsity player of our school" Pagyayabang na sabi ko, just to make her laugh.
She smirk. "Then let's try if the basketball Varsity player of our school can defeat Kelsey Dixon" I got froze when she mentioned her last name.

Natameme naman ako do'n. I gave him a nodded. "Don't worry po tito, wala pa po akong balak ligawan si Kelsey" I assured tito Kevin.
He tap my shoulder and let me follow Kelsey outside their house.
"Umay basketball Varsity player pa nga" Pang aasar sakin ni Kelsey ng lumamang siya ng three points sa laro namin.

I just shrugged to her. "Okay" I step back, jump and shoot the ball effortlessly. Sabay naming sinundan ng tingin ang bola.

We are always like this, sabay kaming papasok at uuwi. Madalas nasa bahay nila ko para turuan siya sa math. I love what I'm doing, I love the most when I spend my time with her.

"Cute-cute!" Inis na sabi niya sakin sabay hampas ulit sa dibdib ko.
"Don't cry, I still try to be with you when I get college, okay?" Pahayag ko.
Seryoso naman akong tiningnan ni Kelsey at nakikinig sa sinasabi ko.
"I still make time to be with you, but I can't promise that I'm always free" I added.

After Graduation I get so busy on preparing for my college life and at the same time my parents preparing me to take over their businesses. I continue being basketball Varsity Player to my new University and BS Business Administartion and Accountancy Student.

We rarely saw each other for the past months because of our different sched and busyness at school.
I hugged her back while caressing her hair. "I miss you more" Ganting bulong ko.
She's 17 and I'm 21.
I tried to make a move and tell her what I feel for her but I don't know if she is numb or maybe she just don't care.
Sabay kaming grumaduate, me as a college student her as senior highschool student.
I started working and take over my parents business.
I ask her on a date so many times to give her hints but she refuse me.

Halos mapasabunot na ko sa buhok ko sa inis and regretting for cofessing my real feelings towards her. "Kelsey please!" I stand up and plead in front of her.
I'm trying to catch her eyes but she didn't let me.
I sighed namumuo na ang luha sa mata ko. "If I know na magiging ganito reaksyon mo when I tell you what's my real deal" I stop atsaka ko tumawa ng mapakla. "Sana pala di na ko umamin" And tears from my eyes started to fall.
"Why I couldn't be contented to be just your friend" I look up trying to stop another wave of my tears from falling.
"We can still be friends" Halos di ko marinig ang boses ni Kelsey when she said it.
I look at her. She look at me blankly. "I'm sorry Reign, let's just stay as friends" She added.
Pinunasan ko ang mga luha sa mata ko. At dahan-dahan na tumango sa kaniya. "I understand" Pag tanggap ko sa gusto niyang mangyare.

I excuse myself and went outside to answer the call from my phone.
I'm about to go back inside the wedding reception when I saw her standing meters away from me.
She's wearing a purple above the knee dress, white high heels while her hair curls perfectly and its now silvered gray.
She walks slowly towards my place. "Hi!" She greet me when she stop in front of me.
I thought she didn't come.
I actually don't know what would I act in front of her. I'm not prepared, I wasn't expect this is how we'll meet again after long years of avoiding each other.
I couldn't form any word, I just look at her blankly. "Can we talk?" She speak again when she notice na wala akong balak na batiin siya pabalik.
"I'm sorry" She started, yumuko siya when she said it. She look at me. "I'm sorry, I was a coward" She added. Sunod-sunod na tumulo ang mga luha sa mata niya.
She pinch her hands trying to calm her self. "I am so selfish, I never think about your feelings. I hurted you so many times and I was so stupid for breaking your heart. I am so selfish, I never valued your presence, you are the only one stayed when everybody left me, but I still chooses to push you away" Umiiyak na sambit ni Kelsey.
She look away. "I thought pushing you is the only way for you not to get hurt from me but I still did" She cried even more.
I really wanna hold her but I can't.
"I was so down when you suddenly came in the picture. I was in the darkness but when everytime you're around you light up my shaken world, you are my escape and my fortress" She wipe her tears using the back of her hands.
And look at me. "I know your real deal" She chuckled. "But I wasn't ready, even I know to myself that I like you too for real, Reign" She added and cried again.
"W-why you didn't tell me?" Naguguluhang tanong ko.
She look down and shook her head slowly. "I was problematic, dramatic, toxic and I don't wanna drag you from my messy life" She cried even more.
"And so what?!" I shouted!
"I was so afraid to be so happy and end up breaking in the end" She shouted too.
I laughed bitterly to her reason.
whatta coward!
"So you chose to be a coward and hurting me instead" I stated.
"Reign I'm so sorry" She plead in front of me while crying.
I look away. "Now I get it" I nodded and look at her. "Thank you for your st×p!d explanation! we are done!" I shouted. "I don't need you in my deal now" I added and left her.
I rather be looks pathetic for the name of love than to be coward and not doing any thing about love.
