Two red roses are extended to the girl as she hums in gratitude and hugs the male. "I see now, one rose is one year, right?"
He chuckles and playfully acknowledges her "Correct! Do you want a prize?"
Receiving a light scoff and snicker, the two set off to the Sano household. The common feeling of the wind in her hair still giving her a thrill. She had come from a class, choosing to pursue studies after highschool while her lover is soon to open his motorbike shop.
She had met grandpa Sano once or twice, but this is the first for the entire family. Shinichiro mentions his siblings often, the carefree "Mikey" and kind "Emma", so she is excited to get to formally meet and spend time with them.
The plants in their hearts have grown more and more the past years, and the couple decided to spend their second year anniversary in a simpler way.
After a ride not too long, they get off the bike and arrive at the house. The two share banter and laugh along with each other's jokes as they approach the door and as the noirette swings it open, a scream can be heard.
"NO WAY!! I THOUGHT HE WAS JUST LYING!"
The shouts of a little boy were the first thing to welcome them, along with the expressions of disbelief and shock in the two younger siblings.
"Big bro.. y-you actually found a girlfriend?" The confusion and awe in the girl's voice irks their older brother.
The sudden question making the mentioned girlfriend burst in laughter.
"OF COURSE I DID! Did you not believe me for two years!? I expected this from Mikey but you too Emma? How could you?!" As he kept rambling of siblingly love and how he felt betrayed, his companion calms down and brings out a small box wrapped neatly and spoke.
"Hey, Mikey right? I heard it was your birthday recently, it's not much but here. Belated happy birthday!" She greets with a warm smile and successfully shuts up the tall male beside her as she passes the box to the ten year old boy lazily.
"I'm Y/n, nice to meet ya!" she introduces with a grin and as Mikey finishes unwrapping the gift to find some rare but delicious sweets, he latched onto the girl's back playfully.
"Hey, hey, are you really his girlfriend?? How'd he get you? Did he pay you?" Questions of suspicion bombard her as she chuckles lightly, playing along; "It is still a mystery."
The two siblings, and even grandpa, warm up to her quickly, her personality very likeable and the noirette seems to fall in love with her more from it. His heart seems to burst with more flowers just admiring the sight in front of him.
As the family continue with the evening, the sudden yet familiar feeling flows through her chest, yet differing from the usual warmth.
Instead of the flower of love sprouting in the usual organ, two of different kinds appear; one pink peony and one daisy. Flowers much contrasting to the usual red rose, yet still swell and surge her heart with comfort. Their anniversary of two years added another two flowers to her growing heart.
