Enzo's pov
I wake up to see Zara nuzzled close to me and I can't help but smile at the view
I can't wait to give her the gift I have planned, she made me pinky promise to get one gift...so I did it's just maybe not that tiny...I guess
I mean to me it's no big deal but I can already feel the slap on my chest when she hears what it is
And I can't help but chuckle at the thought
And I also made her promise to not spend a lot on me I don't need anything except her and Mia to be near me, we had a whole bicker session and in the end she made me promise not to spend over $50, I knew my stubbornness would come in handy one day
Okay I lied I didn't get her only one gift I also got her a piece of jewelry but I couldn't help it, when I saw it I knew My queen needed it
She's gonna be pissed at me but
To bad for her I don't give a shit
She stirs in her sleep "good morning sweetheart" I tell her kissing her temple
She smiles her eyes still closed
"Morning muffin" she tries imitating my voice
I laugh "that's not what I sound like"
"I beg to differ" she laughs
"Come on let's get up," I tell her
She hums not getting up
I laugh and throw her over my shoulder
She yelps "ENZO" She exclaims
I laugh and take her to the bathroom so we can brush our teeth
I sit her on the counter and hand her the toothbrush
She grabs it while rolling her eyes
You have no idea what kind of control it takes for me to not slam my lips onto her right now, but I don't want our first kiss to be simply "in a bathroom" my queen deserves more than that
"Come on, We need to give all the guards the gifts before we wake up Mia" Zara says excitedly
She's so cute, I never thought to get any of my staff gifts but of course, she bought all the guards and Maria Gifts
We go downstairs and Zara goes to give the gifts to the bodyguards spread around the house
She made them little care box's
It has a bottle of wine in each of them that she says "they can use after work when they go to their family's"
She's such a cutie
They also have a Christmas wine stopper, along with a tumbler with a lid for the wine and in the box's there is a bunch of candy spread around
Watching all the guards smile made me weirdly happy, just some simple wine and shit made them so happy
Guess that goes to show I never showed them much appreciation
But Zara has a big heart so of course she did this
I follow her around the house like a lost puppy as she hands all the guards the gifts
We send them all home after that to their families
Then she goes to give her gift to Maria which is a picture frame with Maria and Mia on it, flowers, some nice clothing she picked out for her and then a Christmas card
Which has my gift in it, which is a ticket to go see her family in Italy for a week
Maria starts crying from just Zara's gift
I've realized most women are really easy to make happy...get them some sappy shit and flowers and there happy
Zara is so easy to make happy, I give her my hoodies and rings all the time and the way her face lights up is so worth it
That's why I can't stop giving them to her, her cute little reaction gets me every time
And the fact she said the rings and hoodies make her feel safe just melts my heart
I will always protect her
"Oh well aren't you a sweetheart," Maria says crying "come here already" she goes to hug her
"There's also Enzo's gift in the card for you" Zara grins
"Enzo you didn't need to get me anything I'm fine with what Zara got me" Maria exclaims
"Maria You deserve it after what you have done over the years for Mia and me, we really appreciate everything you've done," I say
Maria slowly opens the card and immediately starts bursting into tears
"Oh Enzo, I get to see my family" she exclaims crying
She goes up to me and hugs me
I look over at Zara who has tears flowing down her face as she's smiling

After over 30 minutes of calming Maria down and insisting she goes, she finally gave in and left to pack
"Your an amazing man Enzo," Zara says hugging me
She has no idea how much those words meant to me
Something so simple can sound so special coming from the special people in your life
"You're the amazing one Zara," I say kissing her temple
She nuzzles closer "fine we're both amazing" she playfully says while laughing
I chuckle "come on let's wake up Mia so she can open her gifts before Ava and Matt come over," I say
"Enzo there not coming for another 4 hours" she laughs
"Yeah well you haven't met my daughter and Christmas presents then" I laugh
I mean the girl can look at one toy for 30 minutes before moving to open the next one
She laughs "ok let's go"
"OH, IT'S THE BARBIE I WANTED!" Mia screams
I look over at Zara who is cuddled in my lap
This has been going on for over an hour and we still have 5 presents left
"You weren't kidding when you said her and presents take forever" Zara whispers in my ear while laughing
"Yeah I wasn't kidding" I laugh
"THANK YOU, DADDY!" She hugs me
"THANK YOU, MAMA!" She hugs Zara
Zara's eyes fill with tears as she hugs Mia back
"ok Enzo it's your turn now" Zara smiles
I groan " you didn't need to get me anything Zara"
"To bad so sad, go cry about it" she laughs leaving the living room
She comes back with a bag
"Here you go, Merry Christmas!" she smiles
I open the bag to see a couple things wrapped
"Open this one first, this is like a gag gift well more of an inside joke type of thing...NEVER MIND just open it, you will get it when you see it" she laughs
I open it to see a box, I lift it and immediately start to chuckle
Taking out the ring I put it on my ring finger on my right hand
It's a ring and engraved is the words 'her king' on the inside
"I love this" I chuckle "thank you"
She shows her hand wiggling her eyebrows and I see she has a matching ring "mine says his queen on the inside" she chuckles
She's perfect
She might say this is an inside joke ring but I'm for sure wearing this ring every day

I open the next thing to see another box
I open it to see a pocket knife
"Ooh this is nice" I mumble looking over the beautiful knife
It's a Mattel black pocket knife, I've been needing a new one
"Look closely " she laughs lightly
I look and see something engraved It's says

She really is perfect
"I love it" and I love you...but didn't say that part
And I truly mean it when I say I love her...have for a while
She's my queen, my rock, the sun that shines in my life alongside my daughter, along with the air that I breathe
"I'm glad " she smiles kissing my cheek
"There's one more thing," she says
I open the last thing to see the journal
I open it to see it's filled with writing, photos, receipts, and whatnot
And on the front of the journal is a picture of Zara, Mia, and me in her bakery
"It's a journal that I would write in specifically for you, it has pictures and things from where we would go and I would talk about what we did for memories" she shrugs like it's no big deal
God I could marry the woman right now
"Your amazing thank you" I kiss her on purpose a little too close to her lips
She blushes and I chuckle
"Okay now your turn" I raise a brow leaving the room
