----

He used the bow, shooting an arrow at the wall.

He looked back into the quiver to see another arrow.

He grinned madly, watching as the arrow pinned in the wall faded.

----

Tommy was prepared as fuck to go into battle.

Heck, he'd even start a war to help his friends.

Nothing, and he meant nothing, would stand inbetween his relationships.

That green fucker was definitely going to pay.

And so will his friends.

He wonders how he'd like it if he took a friend from him.

Not yet, however.

Maybe with the aid of the villains, perhaps.

But if Tommy were to do this, he would be announced a villain.

He didn't want to blow his cover.

And so, then came the dawne of a new villain.

Sure, he may only have healing powers, but he knew his way around weapons.

And he was definitely going to get his fucking enchanted blade back from the Phantom.

He simply sat patiently on the roofs, waiting for the lanky villain to come, one of his legs dangling down the edge.

He would notice it was him.

He was currently dressed normally.

And his lure worked perfectly.

He heard footsteps overlay into the atmosphere behind him.

"You know, sitting on the rooftop isn't such a bright idea, little bird."

There he goes, stereotypical villain entrance.

"You didn't have to come with such a presence, king."

"You were waiting for me?"

"What does it look like, Einstein?"

Phantom sighed.

"Alright, what do you want?"

"I would like my dagger back. Before I pierce my arrow through your throat. And kindly leave me after that, simple isn't it?"

Phantom hummed.

"What do you need it for? Next thing I'll know is you'll go stabbing shit."

Tommy grew a maniacal grin, swiftly turning his head to Phantom with sadistic glee.

"That's exactly what I'm aiming for."

Phantom was taken aback.

"Since when did you act so much like a villain? I thought you only agreed on being our healer?"

Tommy simply cackled.

"You know, Phantom.. When someone takes something you cherish the most, you reward them with punishment. Those false prophets are prone to fall." He grinned.

Phantom's eyes narrowed pleasantly, a smile growing in his face.

"Make them suffer. You may need a disguise, you don't want them on your path." He nodded, tossing the knife towards him on the floor.

Tommy caught the knife, returning another nod.

"That's just what I'm moving onto."

Phantom wasn't sure why, but Tommy's teeth had grown slightly sharper.

Maybe he was a hybrid after all.

At first he thought he was avian, from what Phil told him.

However this may disagree with his theory.

Maybe it was just the insanity making an impact on him.

Yeah.

That just might be it.

He had some hope that he wouldn't lose his humanity.

It's easy to lose grasp from a villain to a murderer, and there is a fine line between the two.

A line of which easy to cross.

----

Tommy was currently sorting out what he would wear.

He decided to make a formal approach.

Nothing so serious, just a small explosion in an area of their base.

Dumb fuckers leaked it to the public.

A naïve move, if he would say himself.

And he was soon to be 18 in 7 months.

Imagine being dumber than a literal child.

Tommy couldn't help but feel some empathy.

But that was dying out.

The empathy was more directed to Shroud.

Those pricks were going to pay.

He'll knock them dead for sure.

Especially the green one.

He had that dumb smile plastered on his face, and he just screamed guilty.

He couldn't wait to wipe that grin off.

Make him frown.

No - make him cry.

He settled on a mysterious outfit he decided to wear.

It sort of reminded him of that villain - the angel of death was it?

He wasn't really sure.

People referred to him as Angel, or just add Death as a prefix to Angel.

It was a simple name.

But he'd rather keep himself nameless.

Let them ponder.

Who needs names to define you?

He decided to just be himself.

Well, perhaps in the most crazed way.

The outfit was a mixture of deep navies and ominous blacks.

It was great to camouflage into the darkness.

He wore it, and went to the roof of his house.

He made it so he looked like he appeared out of nowhere.

He didn't want then to figure where he came from.

His quilt was attached on his back, hidden, like his bow.

His dagger was in a small scabbard, held on his waist.

Time to stab some shit.

The plan was easy to carry out.

He simply had to create destruction, then have a nice long chat with the heroes with his blade and arrows as his words.

The plan wasn't easy to carry out,

once you actually had to do it.

How the fuck was he meant to create a catalyst and explosion in the middle of nowhere?

So, he decided upon a lighter and some gunpowder.

It would turn out to be explosive.

Maybe way too explosive.

The moment a spark had hit the gunpowder and other components was the beginning of it all.

Tommy knew the damages it would cause, but not this fucking big.

Shit just got real.

The people would have a hard time paying for the casualties,

But it's not like they will be paid for it.

Heroes will simply just vanquish their enemies, let their 'people' think they were always on their side.

The roles were actually the other way round, and vigilantes were moreover just the same.

Tommy watched the destruction from afar, on the roof of a tall building.

It was met by cross-sections of alleyways, and it was perfect to roam upon.

He caught notice of some blurred figured in the distance.

What stood out was a vibrant green.

Tommy grinned sadistically under his mask.

The neon colours were then followed up to the top, a few centimetres away from Tommy.

"You sure took your time didn't you?" Tommy stated, turning towards the baffled heroes.

Now, being a villain was no joke, and neither was a hero.

These guys could easily wipe him out.

But Tommy did his research.

A puppeteer, a dream-bringer, a time-foreseer and a cross between blaze and demon, lusted by flames.

The one in vibrant purple was also able to manipulate time.

He could easily sneak behind him, but a trait like that could easily tire him.

"Who the fuck are you?" The fiery one spat, unpleased by the appearance of another possible villain.

"Now that's no way to talk to someone, is it?" Tommy cocked his head to the side, smiling.

"You have something of mine. I demand you return it." He snapped, gazing into the green one's eyes.

This teletubby-looking shit was called Dream.

He was the most fucked up out of them.

He could easily latch control over him, if his strings were to latch onto him.

Tommy had agility and swiftness on his side, however.

He may just be able to outrun them.

Dream hummed.

"And what do you want for it?"

Tommy merely cackled.

"You want me, to trade, to regain my belongings? It's not any help, is it?"

Dream narrowed his eyes under his dumb fucking mask.

Tommy could feel his eyes gauge into his soul.

It's not like that happened before, not especially with other people.

It was a normal feeling he had in the past.

Everyone simply glared at him and looked away with glassy eyes, pretending he did not exist.

"Hold on, before we get to deeper matters, what do you mean we have 'something of yours'?" The blue one replied.

Tommy raised his head.

These dumb fucks.

"You have a... Member of my flock, I assume. Hand him over and we can call it a day."

He had tried to make no suspicion lead to his actual self.

Saying that Shroud was his friend and that they clearly saw Shroud in his café would definitely lead him behind bars.

It would be best to lay low and stay smart.

"We can't just give you what you demand, especially when you just b-"

"Do you want to talk it out with my bow or do you want to simply hand him over?"

The time-manipulator raised his hand before his friend could have a say.

"I think that's fair. We're quite tired after our patrols. Isn't that right, Dream?" He said, nudging Dream in the elbow.

Dream was about to protest before noticing his glare.

He nodded, turning back to the assumed villain infront of them.

"Why don't you come with us? He's in our headquarters."

Tommy pulled out his bow and a singular arrow.

"I think that it's best you bring him here. I'm tired, too. I've had a long restless day, and it would be kind of you to spare my time wasting about."

"Ember, he know our plan." Dream hissed.

Ember nodded.

They all drew their weapons, except for Ember.

Ember could simply use his powers instead of tiring himself with a weapon.

"Nice time meeting you, but it's about time we put an end to this." 404, the one adorned with goggles and a blue shirt stated.

Tommy snarked.

"Bold of you to assume I'm going to fall easily."

He pulled his arrow back on the string of the bow, aiming for Ember's heart.

Take out the strongest link first, then move onto the weakest.
