Yeji's PoV
I woke up because I felt Ryujin's arm was being removed on my waist. I creased my brows when I looked at her and she chuckled as she kissed my forehead
"It's too early for you to be mad," She told me
"Where are you going?" I asked with my low voice and I tried to sit up but I was stopped because I felt another arm resting on my waist
"Baby," I smiled to myself as I pecked a kiss on Taeoh's forehead and I went back to my original place
Ryujin was just standing on the side of the bed and she was looking at us lovingly.
"You would really look good if you were his mom," She said
"Just answer my question, Shin. Where are you going at..." I looked at the alarm clock on the bedside table
"...6:30 in the morning?" I continued
"Wifey, I told you I have work to do," She replied and I can't help but feel giddy because she called me our endearment
"Make sure it's work and not girls, Shin," I warned
Ryujin laughed and she kissed me on my cheek.
"Go back to sleep. I'll be back to pick up li'l Taeoh later," Ryujin told me and she went out of the room
I looked at the kid beside me. He was sleeping peacefully as he hugged me. I hugged him back. I know that what I'm doing is wrong because I have a boyfriend but I can't bring myself to stop. I can't miss these precious moments.
I went back to sleep with Taeoh.
"Mommy! Mommy!" And I felt a shake on my shoulder
"Hm?" I replied with my eyes closed
"Mommy! Wake up!" Taeoh said so I opened my eyes
I peaked at Taeoh and smiled at him. Taeoh grinned and he hugged my nape. I hugged him back then he rained my face with kisses.
"Let's go out, mommy!" He said
"Wait for me here, baby," I told him as I stood up as I do my morning routine
When I went out the bathroom, I saw Taeoh playing with his toy car on the floor. He was just okay even though nobody is playing with him.
"Baby, come on," I called and I went to the door
Taeoh quickly stood up and he ran to me. I carried him and I kissed his cheek. I wonder when Ryujin and I will have our own kids.
"Good morning!" Taeoh greeted when we went down the stairs
I brought him down and everyone in the house just looked at him and Taeoh greeted them one by one.
"Day-off?" Heejin asked as she gave me a cup of coffee
"Yeah," I said as I accepted it
"Good morning, granddad," I greeted when I went to the dining table
"Oh. Great. We're complete. Let's eat!" Granddad said
It was just me, Heejin, Taeoh, Granddad, and Hyunjin. I don't know where my parents are and my other cousins are working. It must be also be Hyunjin's and Heejin's days-off.
I put Taeoh next to me and I will be feeding him.
"I can feed Taeoh, unnie," Heejin offered but I refused by shaking my head
"I can take care of my kid, Heejin. Thank you," I replied but she scoffed
"The nerve of you to call him your kid when you have a boyfriend," Heejin replied that made my blood boil
I was about to answer but Granddad must have felt the heavy atmosphere
"Heejin, is it your day-off?" Granddad asked
Granddad did the right choice. If he didn't ask Heejin that question, hell would've broken loose. Heejin is lecturing me about my boyfriend as if I wasn't aware of it. It is not that hard to understand that I just want to enjoy every moment without my boyfriend. I just want to spend these days with Ryujin and Taeoh. Then I will deal with Yeonjun because clearly, I want to be with Ryujin but Yeonjun was there for me when she wasn't.
During the breakfast, everyone was quiet. Well, except Taeoh who kept on talking even though I was feeding him. He was talking to everyone on the table. It was as if he wasn't even aware of what happened earlier.
Hyunjin and I brought Taeoh to the playground since well, he wanted to play. It's already 10:00 in the morning. Taeoh is playing with the other kids in the playground. While Hyunjin and I are just sitting on the bench nearby.
"How is Yeonjun doing, Yeji?" Hyunjin asked and I sighed
Yeonjun has been calling me nonstop and I am not picking up. I'm afraid that these moments with Taeoh and Ryujin will just be ruined if Yeonjun comes back into the picture.
"He's doing great in Seoul. It's just that we barely see each other since we're not working in the same hospital," I answered and this time, Tae was the one who heaved a sigh
"I have to say this, Yeji. You are not single. You are in a relationship with Yeonjun but you're acting like you're not when you're with Ryujin," Hyunjin said and I nodded
"But Tae, I don't know. I know for a fact that I love Ryujin but Yeonjun was there when Ryujin was not," I replied
"When I came back, I was certain that I love Yeonjun. I told myself that Ryujin won't have an effect on me but when I saw her, everything came rushing back. At first, I can still handle it but Yeonjun also changed. On the other hand, I see Ryujin with Heejin and I hate it. I know Heejin's my cousin but I don't want her anywhere near Ryujin. S-she threatens me," I continued talking
"You can't love two people at the same time, Yeji. Make up your mind or you'll end up hurting both of them," Hyunjin said and I nodded
"Ryujin never left us, you know? She has been a sister to me and I hope you won't hurt her because even though I love you as my cousin, I can't promise you that I won't hate you for hurting her," Hyunjin seriously stated
Hyunjin has a point. I can't love two people at the same time but I don't want to break Yeonjun's heart. He was with me when I hit rock bottom.
"Mommy!" I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard Taeoh's voice
Taeoh stood in front of me and he smiled. Charming.
"Can we call babba? I miss her already!" Taeoh said and he pouted
"Buddy, babba's working. What did she say when she's working?" Hyunjin asked
"To not disturb her," Taeoh frowned
"But she also told me that she will make time for me," Taeoh looked at me with puppy eyes again
Hyunjin was about to answer but I stopped him by putting Taeoh on my lap. I then took my phone out and I called Ryujin.
Calling Ryujin...
"Shin Ryujin speaking," She answered after three rings
"Drop the formality, Shin," I said and she chuckled
"Do you need anything?" She asked
"Are you busy?" I asked when I heard a lot of people talking in the background
"Hm, not that busy but I can still make a call, why?" She said
"Taeoh wants to talk to you," I told her
"My baby misses me. I'll facetime you," She said
Not long after, I received a video call from Ryujin so I quickly answered it. Ryujin was smiling when she saw us. She's in the studio with a camera strap wrapped on her neck.
"Taeoh, what did I tell you?" Ryujin asked
"Not to disturb you," Taeoh answered
Ryujin was about to answer but Taeoh talked again
"But I miss you, babba! The kids here have their daddies with them!" Taeoh continued and Ryujin chuckled
"How about you come here?" Ryujin suggested
"Really? I'm also gonna take photos?!" Taeoh excitedly asked and Ryujin smiled as she nodded
"I want that, babba!" Taeoh said that made me smile
"You can go with aunt Heejin, alright?" Ryujin said and Taeoh nodded
With Heejin? Why can't Taeoh go with me? When Taeoh went down from my lap, I looked at Ryujin.
"I'll bring him there," I said
"Heejin will, Yeji," She replied that made me creased my brows
"Why can't I bring him there? Is that what? Your special place with my cousin?" I asked and Ryujin laughed
"Stop acting like you don't have a boyfriend, Yeji," She said and I rolled my eyes
"What happened to just you and me?" I replied and she shook her head while smiling
"You don't know where the studio is," Ryujin said
"Send me the address then," I told her
"And you have work tomorrow. I can't let you go here and go back there again," Ryujin replied
"Stop making up excuses, Shin. I will bring my kid there and that's final," I told her and she just sighed
"Alright, you stubborn lil cat," Ryujin gave up so I smiled
I was just looking at her, not talking. She was busy looking at her staff and commanding them what to do.
"Hey, Yeji," Ryujin called
"Hm?" I asked
"I know this is wrong but I love you," Ryujin sincerely said that made my heart melt
"I promise you. If I have the chance, I will break up with Yeonjun," And with that Ryujin's face lit up
"You know how much I hate broken promises, Yeji," Ryujin sternly told me
"I am not planning to break it, Ryujin," And she smiled
"I'll see you later?" She asked when her colleague told her they were gonna start
"Yeah," I answered
"Take care," Ryujin replied
"Yes and you behave," I told her and she laughed before ending the call
I looked at Hyunjin who was smiling beside me.
"You better fulfill that promise, Yeji. The glow in your eyes are coming back," Hyunjin said
I looked at my phone and a notification popped up.
From: Yeonjun
Hey, babe! Long time, no talk? Wanna meet up?
Is this it? Is it time for me to face him and end it once and for all?

Ryujin's PoV
"Play for the camera," I said as I captured her poses
Our photo studio is being used for the models for Guess. Yes, not to be boastful or anything but we have achieved big dreams already.
"Babba! Babba!" I heard a little voice coming from afar so I smiled
I looked at the models and I smiled apologetically
"Take 5? It's my kid," I told them
"We know your priorities, Ryujin," One of them said while smiling and I thanked her
I squatted when I saw Taeoh running towards me. He hugged me immediately and I chuckled.
"It's just been a day, bud," I told him
"I don't care!" He replied and he hugged me even tighter
"Hi, Yeji," I looked up at Yeji who was standing behind Taeoh
"Why don't you look for your camera and we'll start taking pictures? I'll just talk to mommy Yeji," I told Taeoh and he listened to me
I stood up and I pecked a kiss on Yeji's cheek.
"I told you, Heejin could've brought him," I said
"What happened to just you and me, Shin?" And Yeji raised her brow that made me sigh
"You're hard-headed," I told her
"Is that why you love me?" She asked and I just nodded that made her blush
Then her phone rang. She looked at it and I also peaked. It's Yeonjun.
"Uhm... He's asking me to see him," Yeji said
"Ah, Yeah... I-I think you should," I replied
Yeji stepped closer to me and she cupped my cheeks. She then pulled my head lower to kiss my forehead. I smiled when she caressed my cheek with her thumb.
"I'll fix this, I promise," Yeji told me and I nodded
I held her hands on my face and I put them on my lips.
"Then what else are you waiting for? Get moving!" I told her with a smile
"What about Taeoh?" She asked
"I'll take care of my child, Yeji," I said
"Our! Child, Ryujin," Yeji replied
"Taeoh, baby!" Yeji called and Taeoh came out of the room with a camera in his hand
Taeoh walked to Yeji as he proudly showed his camera to her. Yeji complimented him. They look like mother and son.
"You stay here with babba, okay? I just have to meet up with someone," Yeji said
"Will you come back, mommy?" Taeoh asked
"I will just update your babba, baby. I'm not sure if I'm going to go back here to pick you up or we'll just meet at the house," Yeji replied
"Okay, take care, mommy!" Taeoh said
Taeoh cupped Yeji's cheeks as he kissed him on the lips. Yeji automatically smiled before pulling Taeoh in for a hug.
"I love you, baby," She said
"I love you too, mommy," Taeoh replied
And from that moment on, I knew. I want Yeji to be the mother of my future kids.
