George woke up the next day. He went to check the calendar as he noticed it was November 26th. He must leave now or on the first of December, but he'll need to talk with Dream
The SMP prince always talked about adventures, and now he gets one. The Kinoko prince noticed the bird flying towards him and chirped
"Willow!" he exclaimed as the bird perched on his finger. It had the same black bow they used to send messages
He gasped and rushed towards his room. He scribbled quickly on a piece of paper and tied it to Willow's neck
The bird chirped and flew towards the SMP kingdom. "Please, Clay," he whispered, hoping to receive an answer from him
Dream was sparring with his personal bodyguard. Both were fighting and dodging as the prince pricked the bodyguard with the ball-point sword
"Got you!" Dream beamed as Nick groaned, "I can't! If I can't attack you once, then I'm not fit to be your bodyguard!"
Dream: But I know you're good! Not many of the other bodyguards were able to dodge my first attack
Nick: I know!
Dream: And you managed to live for 1 minute
Nick: True
Dream: Aaaaaaand! You're my best friend! You're the only I trust! You even kept my secret!
Nick: And I'm telling you, they'll find out!
Dream: If only there was some miracle, to prove you that they'll find out later than sooner
A chirp interrupted them as Dream looked to see the bird. "Willow!" he exclaimed as he noticed the bird had a note
He untied the ribbon and opened it,
Meet me at our place! I know how we can end the war, but you need to trust me on this!
Love, George
Dream smiled and looked at Nick with lovey dovey eyes. "He has found a way to end the war!"
Dream sneaked out and found the tunnel he uses. He crawled into and stood up as he ran towards the center of the caves
He noticed the brunette waiting by the pond and looked at him. Both princes hugged as Dream carried the young prince and twirled
"It felt like forever!" Dream whined as George giggled, "It was just yesterday! And I have the way to stop the war!"
George unrolled a large roll with feather quills, ink jars, old paper scrolls, and some regular papers as he sorted them
Dream: What's with all this?
George: Help me write a letter to our kingdoms!
Dream: Wait! What's going on?
George: Trust me! Make up a lie! Something believable!
Dream: George! Why?
George: I am leaving the kingdom. I need you with me!
Dream: Going where?
George: Yesterday with the elders, they gave me one last tale, and it involved with stopping the feud!
Dream: A legend?
George: About a mistletoe, in the brightest of red and green, that will help us stop the war!
Dream: And how will a holly help? It's a plant!
George: Not this one
Dream: Just kiss me underneath it! It'll be easy!
George: No it won't! We must have every member of our kingdom seeing us!
Dream: Say what?!
George: For the feud to end, they all need to watch!
Dream was silent. He just noticed George's eyes began to water. He lied down as Dream hugged the brunette
"Hey! Hey!" he said softly, "I'll help you. I'll run with you. I'll help you. What lie will we need?"
George sniffed and wiped his tears. He looked at the dazzling emerald eyes. "I need a lie, that sounds like a prophesy, and make everyone follow us!"
Dream smiled as he brushed the hair off from George's eyes, "I can help you with that."
As Dream was writing the lie in the old scrolls, George explained how it will be. The journey will be cold, and it'll be snowing, and the villagers will not be too happy to see them
"Just don't bring the crowns! Wear poor clothing, act poor, and keep our prized jewels hidden," Dream said as he showed the blue heart necklace given from George
"You look amazing!" George gushed as Dream smiled and looked at the scrolls, "What do you think?"
George noticed the handwriting looked old and in beautiful cursive. Dream was quick, and it looks perfect!
To Kinoko Kingdom,
We have written this from years ago
We have news for your prince/son, but you must read carefully
In the tallest mountain, lays the legendary bow
It must be wielded by the prince himself, for a duel will the enemy prince
Both princes will meet by the day of doom
Everyone must be in presence, to watch the duel of the century
The Prophets
"Perfect!" George exclaimed as he looked over to read the letter for Dream's kingdom
To SMP Kingdom,
The skies have foretold!
The prince must battle the enemy prince to a one-on-one duel
For it must be a battle to the death alone
A sword of gold will rain down as it'll give him strength
In the highest mountain, it will begin
For his power to grow, everyone must attend, or his life will be sacrificed
The Prophets
"My parents don't accept failure, and this will make them move," Dream said as George smiled
George rolled up the scrolls and placed a red ribbon. They smeared it with dirt to make it look like it's 100 years old
"Where do we meet?" George asked as Dream grabbed his scroll. "We meet here on November 30th, and we'll leave first thing in the morning."
Both princes headed out as they held their scrolls. They placed it hidden in the castle, yet visible for the elders to see so that they'd be the one to alert the king and queen
Both packed very little. They only had packed money, cloaks, hoods, and scarfs. Dream packed gloves and looked at his room
He sighed as he waited for the day, and as for George, he packed what he needed, which was also little
"Willow, will you come with us?" he asked as the bird chirped frantically. "Ok! Ok! I know, you can't because of the cold."
Willow nestled as George sighed. He knew running away from home is wrong, but after hearing the legend, he hopes it could fix the feud
