No Hand To Hold

It's hard out here
hard to survive- to live.
It's as though you're seen and not seen.
They'll laugh at your mistakes
Some, will pick you back up
But then, they'll leave
and when they leave;
they're truly gone.
And then you're alone again.
Many say there's always gonna be people, who's going to be there for you.
They'll say "They're out there, you just got to search for them"
But with no guide to follow
no hand to hold
How are you going to find them when the path just keeps disappearing?
It's not easy living,
It's not easy giving up
but, you just got to survive.
When you know you're going nowhere.
