okay so this one-shot is from the timeline when Sai, Shivangi and Rutuja had gone out for a dinner together.
And in this chapter, Sai and Shivangi are by now very close besties and they started acknowledging the growing feelings they felt towards each other, they decided to not suppress any feelings and to just go with the flow.
but ofcourse they haven't spoken out to each other yet, they still hesitate to voice out their feelings but deep inside they know they feel something....special.
okay now let's begin with the story <3

He held out his hand to me, as i took his hand in mine i felt a warm fuzzy feeling sink in me.
and the next moment, he pulled her closer gently by her waist, their bodies now pressing together.

8 Hours Ago
Sai and Shivangi were sitting in one of the greenrooms at deshmukh house(mandar and swapnil track)
They were waiting for the next shot, just chilling with their phones.
They were sitting right beside each other in the chairs. Sai sent her a "hellooo" through IG dm. Shivangi looked up to him from her phone with a frown.
"ghamandi rao, i'm right here, why are you sending me a message then?" she spoke out
Sai chuckled. "bas aise hi" he texted her again.
she saw the text and texted back while sighing "you are too much"
"yeah i'm too much handsome, i know tazbu."
"zyada hawa mein mat udd."
"🥺"
"🙄"
He then sent her a fan edit of raghvi.
"nice na?"
After watching the 50secs video she replied "yeah so beautiful!"
"ofc cause we have a talented tazbu gang..just like their tazbu leader😎"
"tu nahi sudhrega na sai🤦🏻♀️"
"arey sab kuch toh acha hai toh kya sudharu?🤪"
She didn't know what to reply cause maybe he was right so she looked up to him with a 🙄 expression and hit his bicep. "ghamandi rao sahi naam hai tera!"
"ouch!" he groaned out loud.
He again texted her "katti 😾🥺"
"ab woh kyu?" she texted back with a confused expression.
The next moment when he was about to reply her complaining about her hitting him, their texting spree was broken as Rutuja entered and said "hiii guysss, wassup?"
"hey rutujaaa!" shivangi excitedly went and hugged her slightly.
"aaja baith humare saath..tera bhi break hai na" shivangi told her
"haan" she replied and greeted sai too and then pulled up a chair and sat in front of them across shivi.
Shivi and rutuja were now engrossed in their long conversations, laughing and giggling.
Sai didn't know what to do so he was just looking at shivi and the way she was talking, her face expressions, her smile, her eyes, everything! and all he could think was "she is beautiful" and a slight smile adorned his pretty face.
He then opened his phone camera and recorded her secretly while she was talking, again.
He then sent her that video directly on IG. her phone pinged and she checked wondering what could sai send her now.
When she saw the video, her cheeks instantly adorned a red color. in the video, she could also see him in the mirror looking at her like that. she blushed, hard.
But trying her best to control her blush, she looked up at him with an angry pout and wide eyes literally questioning him why he took a video of her.
He replied back with winking his one eye understanding the question within her eyes. his eyes held the glint of mischief.
She widened her eyes more and looked at rutuja hoping she didn't see that and thankfully she was looking in her phone. shivi shifted her gaze back to him and glared at him squinting her eyes.
He chuckled quietly looking at her red face. she then smirked as an idea hit her for revenge. she posted that video on her story with the caption "stalker tazbu🍉" tagging him.
His phone pinged and he looked at his phone with shocked eyes. she just called him a stalker on social media!? what would people think of him now!? he then glared at her with puppy eyes as if saying "stalker hu main?"
Now it was her turn to chuckle at him. he sighed heavily and reposted her story with "hello tazbu🍉"
She laughed, not being able to hold any longer.
"kya hua shivangi?" rutuja asked
"kuch nahi!" shivi replied
Rutuja looked at them suspiciously but decided to brush it off. she then asked them "aaj koi acha restaurant chale kuch different khane ke liye?"
They both replied with a yes matching each other's excitement for good food. they had been planning to go anyway. rutuja chuckled at them.
"okay then shoot ke baad chalte hain! around 8 or 9?" rutuja asked
"haan perfect. main dhoond ke rakhunga konsa restaurant." sai said
they all agreed and moments later they were called for their next shot.
(ps: don't think too much about the timeline, i've used it as per the convenience of the chapter.)

Their shoot was done now, shivangi was almost done getting ready in her room while sai was waiting outside in the hall of shivi's flat, sitting on the couch.
She came out of her room wearing a casual skater dress up to her thighs and matched it up with casual sneakers and a tanned sling bag with her silky hair left open, and minimal make up.
Sai was looking in his phone when a sweet voice called him out "ketan i'm done, let's go rutuja is waiting downstairs"
He looked up to her from his phone and he was awestruck. he was staring at her face with admiration and then his eyes quickly checked her out from top to bottom before resting his eyes on hers again.
"how can one look so pretty, beautiful and damn cute all at the same time?" he thought at the back of his mind.
Shivi blushed hard as she felt his strong gaze on her. but she acted casual and asked clearing her throat "chale ketan?"
He came out of his trance and replied "h-haan
c-chalo" while fumbling and looking here and there, embarrassed.
A slight shy smile crept her face as she looked at his cute antics. they both then proceeded outside and she locked the door and they headed downstairs together.

As they came out of the building, they noticed Rutuja talking to someone and she hand gestured them asking for 5 minutes.
They showed her a thumbs up. "let's go wait in the car" shivi told
He nodded. Then Sai went towards the front passenger seat and opened the door indicating her to sit.
She mumbled a thank you, smiling sweetly and he could feel his heart flutter at that smile she gave him. she sat inside while sai sat on the driver's seat beside her.
Moments later, Rutuja came and hopped in the back seat. they started with their journey. Sai had chosen a classy multi cuisine restaurant which was around 45 minutes long drive from their home.
Shivangi then put on the FM. party songs were on and they all hummed and grooved to the music, enjoying their time.
They also discussed a lot of things, from mhrw to their family, just random talks. and Sai would steal glances at shivi in between which didn't go unnoticed by Rutuja.
Later, they were laughing hard at a joke Sai cracked all the while him stealing glances at Shivi laughing. what he didn't know was Shivi was secretly admiring him too! after all he was looking damn hot and handsome with his rolled up sleeves(black shirt)
while his one hand on the steering, driving effortlessly and the other one on the gear.
After laughing a lil more they all fell silent, still stealing glances secretly without the other person noticing but Rutuja didn't miss any of the things happening ;)
It was a comfortable silence and that's when the lyrics of the song going on hit them both.

Their faces now adorned a deep red blush because they felt as if the radio just caught them in the act!
Shivangi then turned her face towards the window flushed and enjoyed the view outside while thinking "what are you thinking shivi! get a hold on your thoughts!"

10 minutes later, Rutuja had slept for a nap, and they had stopped at a traffic light, there was too much traffic as it was weekend.
Then, a phone pinged and vibrated, and saishi's phones were kept in the holder near the gear system. they both thought it might be his/her phone since they have the same phones.
So they reached out together at the same time. and shivi touched the phone first and sai kept his hand above her. they don't know why but they both felt like the world around them paused right then and there. they looked at each other and shared an intense eye lock. (reference: raghvi's holi scene with amruta)
And surprisingly the song played at the background which they couldn't help but listen while being lost in each other's eyes,

And at the back of their mind all they could think was is it just them or the lyrics are actually matching perfectly every damn time. or maybe they're just listening too closely.
They didn't know why but they just couldn't take their eyes off each other.
sai's pov in a few words:
her eyes stole my heart,
her smile gave me life,
her presence made me high,
and her touch left me breathless.

his gaze on me was deep
so deep that it felt like
his eyes pierced through mine
and went straight to my soul
he had these deep and dark oceanic eyes
where i tried reading his unspoken words
that's when i wished to be lost in here forever.

Shivangi realized she had been staring at him for too long, so she looked away pulling her hand from beneath his nervously, her cheeks red.
Sai liked the affect he had on her, cause she had the same power over him. He smiled and looked ahead.
"Sai tu phas gaya! tere dimag ka tere dil par ab koi control nahi hai! aur mujhse behtar kon jaanta hai ki yeh dil mujhse kuch bhi karwata hai aur main kar bhi deta hoon!" he scolded himself in telugu mentally while nearing to their destination.
Meanwhile Shivangi was surprised with herself and her behavior "shivangi what are you doing!? control yaar! but honestly why did that moment feel so magical?" hundreds of thoughts were running in her mind when suddenly
Sai snapped his fingers in front of her breaking her chain of thoughts " oye tazbu! restaurant aa gaya, rutuja utar bhi gayi aur tum..kahan khoya hai??"
He then leaned dangerously closer to her ear and whispered out huskily "mere khayalo mein toh nahi?"
Her eyes widened at his accurate guess. and her cheeks quickly turned crimson red.
He backed off after whispering that and pulled one of her cheeks playfully while saying "yeh tum baar baar laal tamatar kyu ban jaata hai tazbu? so cuteee. i like it" he smirked and got off the car.
Her hand rose up to her cheek where she could still feel the warmth of his touch. "ugh yeh ladka mujhe pagal kardega!" she face palmed herself and got off the car too.

Soon the trio was sitting on one of the corner tables of the restaurant from where the stage set up for live concert was clearly visible to them.
The ambience was very romantic and cozy, the singer was beautifully singing romantic and feel-good songs. there weren't many people around as it was a sophisticated restaurant, just a couple of families, which may leave in another 15 minutes.
Saishi sat opposite each other and rutuja in between as there were individual chairs only.
After making the order, Sai was just looking at shivangi, he just couldn't take his eyes off of her after all she was looking drop dead gorgeous, as usual, her skin was glowing even more in the dim golden lights just enhancing her beauty.
Shivangi caught him looking at her, but he didn't avert his gaze, rather he kept looking at her.

Now even shivangi couldn't hold herself from not looking at him, their eye game getting stronger.
Rutuja was enjoying the music and also the sexual tension she could feel between saishi, she kept smiling secretly.
The singer then started singing a beautiful song,
he sang a perfect song for the couple staring at each other as if they move their gaze anywhere else other than each other and their world would come crashing down.

Shivi now shyed her gaze away smiling listening to the lyrics. Sai couldn't help but smile widely at the way she got so shy just by him looking at her.

Ab khwaab kaise chupaaye
Behki si baatein kar lein

Shivi was now blushing hard at the lyrics and the way sai just wouldn't stop staring at her! she covered her face with one hand. she really wanted to tell him to stop looking at her like that but she held herself because rutuja was there.
However, she tried to tell him with her eyes, to stop staring at her, scrunching her nose. Sai understood but pretended to be naive, and questioned her back with his eyes, scrunching his nose too copying her.
Shivi sighed heavily, knowing that this boy does what he wants and won't listen to anybody. She turned to rutuja and tried starting a conversation, rutuja understood and picked up the pace. After a while of talking they involved Sai too, making him avert his gaze from her, which he didn't want to but alas he did, reluctantly.
They were now busy in deep conversations, laughing and giggling in between. however, sai would still steal glances at shivangi at every chance he got and look here and there in between breaking his long stares to not make it too obvious.
Sai then purposely kept asking questions which he knew only shivangi could answer. and shivi being a talkative girl, didn't stop once she started. and he was enjoying his time with her to the fullest.
Rutuja now felt uncomfortable between them, she legit felt like a kabab mein haddi! "I think i should leave from here, or else these two love birds will constantly make me realize that i'm single. i'll just make an excuse asap and go home!" she thought.
Rutuja cleared her throat breaking the two from their conversation. "listen, i think i'll go home, i don't feel well."
After a lot of discussion, Rutuja finally convinced them to let her go and they reluctantly agreed.

"sir, what were you doing huh!?" shivangi glared at him seriously.
"kya hua madam maine kya kiya?" sai playfully stared at her, keeping his one hand on his chin.

"kya kiya? aise ghur kyu rahe the!? dekho abhi bhi ghur rahe ho!"
"main ghur nahi raha tha..main toh bas dekh raha tha.."
Shivangi still glared at him.
"...sabse beautiful ladki ko" he continued.
Her eyes widened at his compliment. and a blush found its way on her cheeks at his straight-forward ness. then she looked at those deep oceanic eyes, and she found herself to be lost in them, again.
He smiled at her, and she smiled back, making his heart jump out of his chest. their attention was back at the song being sung while smiling and staring at each other in a comfortable silence.

This song fit their situation quite perfectly. they have seen each other so many times but never felt the things they have been feeling recently! and even if they are sitting a table apart, their eyes are doing all the talking without them uttering a single word.
He now reached out to her hand kept at the table and that's when the waiter came with their food, jerking them off.
They didn't order much, keeping their diet in mind. they enjoyed their food and talked about its taste and praised the chef for making it so delicious.

After having their food, the ambience was much more romantic now, the room was dark with dimly lit white lights, they saw that two couples were dancing to live music.
Sai got an idea, and without further ado, he got up and shivi looked at him confused. Sai went towards the corner near their table and held out his hand to her and nodded with his head asking her to come.
She was surprised, however, her feet automatically took her towards him.
He held out his hand to me, and as i took his hand in mine, i felt a magical and warm feeling sink in me, which i never felt before but just with him.
The next moment, he pulled her closer gently by her waist, pressing their bodies together. Her one hand rested on his chest and the other intertwining their fingers. while his other hand held her by her waist. They swayed to the music perfectly fitting in each other's embrace.

They were so close that they could feel each other's rapid heartbeats. He stared deeply in her eyes, momentarily looking at her lips. while she kept shifting her gaze between his eyes and his lips.
She then looked down shyly, her smile reaching her eyes, and he could feel butterflies in his stomach.
"...Teri jhuki nazar, teri har ada

Koi shaqs hai jo ki in dinon

The lyrics and their proximity set fire to their hearts, they had chills down their spines. He then swirled her around only to pull her back closer by her waist. Her one hand resting around his neck and the other on his chest. slowly swaying their hips to the music. He ended the dance with one final twirl and dipped her down and pulled her back closer to him.

He then traced his one finger from her forehead to her cheeks. he leaned in and placed a soft lingering kiss on her cheek. Her heart beat rapidly in her chest at every lil move of his. Her stomach was filled with butterflies dancing around.
He pulled slightly back from the kiss and looked in her eyes intently, their faces inches apart, his breath fanning her lips.
She looked at him, shifting her gaze to his lips and eyes, awaiting and anticipating his next move. He leaned even closer, she closed her eyes, and she didn't push him back, and he took that for a yes.
He quickly pecked her lips, it was a feather light kiss but still it held all the magic. he moved back to see how she reacted. her eyes were still closed and her lips were trembling. this state of hers did something to him, he ran her fingers in her hair and pulled her in for another long, passionate and magical kiss.
They were so lost in their magical moment that they didn't realize where they were neither did they pay heed to the beautiful songs playing in the background.
He pulled back again, short of breath, only to take her in for another mind-blowing kiss from the other side. Now that he tasted her lips, he just couldn't get enough of it. it was the same for her, this all felt too magical for her to be real.
They both pulled back a few more moments later, panting heavily, and joined their foreheads, their noses touching, and smiles adorning their beautiful faces, they realized what they just did but didn't back off and their attention fell to the song playing in background which was long forgotten few moments back.

Sai mustered up all his courage and finally asked her, he felt like his heart might jump out of his chest at the nervousness he was feeling cause he knew her, she was a determined girl, she might say no so as to focus on her career, but still looked at her intently anticipating a yes.
"Will you go on a date with me, special tazbu?" he whispered huskily
I felt my heart dancing and butterflies intensified as he asked me this question. i looked at his eyes and that's it, his puppy eyes did it for me. shivi thought.
"yes" she said smiling whole heartedly.
He was shocked and happy af. he quickly took her in for a bear hug. she hugged him back tightly, her arms around his neck and his arms around her waist, he gently lifted her up a lil out of happiness.
He nuzzled his nose in the crook of her neck and placed a light kiss there. Their world seemed to stop, it felt like it was just him and her and no one else.
They genuinely felt like they were home in each other's embrace.

idk wtf i wrote but i have put a lot of my time and efforts in this! the poem i wrote for shivi's pov was my first try, so i apologize if any of this was immature or childish😭 it also came out longer than i expected.
Also i chose famous songs only so that everyone knew and could hum to it, and i hope the choice of songs was good enough.
And the update was delayed because you guys kinda took so much time to complete the target!🤷🏻♀️target was completed just two days back and thats when i started writing this and finally here it is!
