"Did you tell him?" He heard Maitha ask his Mother "Of course Not, how do you expect me to tell him this, we Postponed his Melcha Twice, Zahra's Mother is wondering why this is taking too long and with this I doubt that he'll continue with Zahra." Ismail walked in and kissed her forehead before asking "Tell Me what?" She looked at Maitha and then at what looks like an Invitation, Ismail picked it up and his heart sank, for a second it felt like everything around him stopped.
He hesitated at first and asked "Mmm mum when did she get Engaged? I thought... I thought." Noora rushed to her son and she held his hands "she's not meant to be yours, my darling let her go, may allah Complete her with Happiness, she's with someone else now and so are you... please close this Chapter and may Allah bless you with someone else." Ismail pulled his hand and stood up not sure what to do he picked up the invitation again it said that the Melcha is Next week, as Ismail was walking out of the living room his sister held him back
"Enough Ismail, If you love her as much as you claim you'd be willing to let her go and allow her to be happy with the man she chose. You need to make up your mind Zahara's family are waiting for us to set a Date for the Melcha." He aggressively pulled his arm away and stormed out of the house, Ismail hopped into the car and drove off nowhere in particular, he tried calling Tarek but he didn't answer therefore he decided to go to him.
Ismail quickly got to the place, turned off the car and walked into Tarek's company, "is he busy?" He asked his secretary, who shook her head in return he nodded and walked into the office "Ismail..? Are you okay?" Was the first thing he said to his friend, he gave Tarek a sad smile before shaking his head. Ismail sat down on one of the lounge chairs facing the big glass windows "Sama is Getting Married." It was hard for him to say this without feeling some sort of pain in his chest "wait WHAT? when??" Tarek stood from his desk not believing what his friend is saying a knock interrupted them and it was his secretary she brought in the Coffee and placed the folder on his desk "Emilia please tell anyone who wants me that I'm in an important meeting so No Calls and no one enters my office." She nodded and walked out, Tarek sat Facing his friend "I've never seen you like this. Tell me everything." He worryingly asked his troubled friend "I told you that we meet when she came from London a few months ago, I asked her if she met someone else and she didn't answer me, and something strange happened after I saw her at Gitex, someone came to my office and threatened me to leave her alone, I didn't know who it was." Tarek squinted his eyes confused "you didn't tell me someone came to your office and threatened you."
Ismail leaned back in his chair and ran his fingers through his hair "I don't care about the threat. It was probably sent by one of her brothers or Ali." Tarek took a sip of his water "Do you Know who she's marrying? What's his name?" Ismail shook his head "nope all I know is that his name is Hamdan, nothing more and to be honest, I don't care if it was the crown prince, what i care about is Sama... I really thought that we would get back to each other, I'm only with Zahra because Mum Knew about Our Relationship, I never really wanted to go through with this relationship, I already lost her once If she Gets Married then I'll lose her forever, And I Love Her Tarek I really do." He looked at his friend and he saw that he had tears in his eyes "what did Zahra tell you? She's her cousin maybe she knows more than just a name?"
Ismail laughed shaking his head "Here's the funny part Zahra didn't say anything about Sama's engagement, not a single word, yes we're not on Speaking terms but the Zahra I know wouldn't miss this opportunity."
"You guys are still not talking? And of course, she wouldn't mention it, Sama has always been an obstacle and with her engagement, she would get rid of her forever." Tarek reasoned Ismail didn't see it from this point of view he now knew why "I want this situation to be in my favour because I'm not continuing with this relationship, I'd rather die than marry her." Ismail then continued about his mother and sister's plans and how they want him to stay away from Sama "Ismail listen... you and I have reached a point in our friendship where you've become my brother and no matter what I'm always going to be on your side except for this time, I truly believe that it's time to let go. Because even if you continued to push through, I'm sorry my friend but The Outcome won't be Good. You Did Her Wrong by Cheating and with who? her Cousin... the one who you knew she had problems with, not only that but you continued this relationship without giving a thought to her feelings, let's say she forgave you, her brothers won't allow this I assume that like uncle Essa and her father don't know about the cheating part.
This relationship has a dead end my brother there is no way you two can finish off and have a happy ending Let her go. Sama, Zahra and that whole family Put it all behind your back and move on, trust me on this I only want what's best for you. I love you but I had to say this.." He took a sip of his now cold coffee as he listened to what Tarek had to say he knew his friend was right, but could he really let everything go..
December 26th

Sitting alone by the window overlooking the beach, she loved going to the beach in the winter, she was right it was very beautiful, Ismail knew what was coming and he couldn't do anything about it, he didn't want to be around when his mother returns home and tell him that Sama's no longer his, he packed a carry-on and drove to the beach house a place where he could clear his mind and be as far away as possible.
"Here you go." Tarek handed him a cup of freshly brewed tea, once he knew about Ismail's plans he insisted on coming along not wanting to leave his best friend Alone, with his eyes focused on the waves hitting the shore he took the cup and mumbled a soft thank you "what's going on in that head of yours my friend?" Tarek asked settling down on the armchair next to where Ismail was standing "yesterday before driving here I couldn't help but pass by her house... the lights were hung. It made it all seem real... but still I wouldn't believe it until I see it by myself." He took a sip of his tea and sat down "It is real my friend... it will sink in, give it some time, may Allah Complete her with happiness and shower her with his blessings." Ismail paused and tried to let Tarek's words sink in before mumbling "Amen."
December 28st
"I want something different, the chocolate and Macrooon Bouquet sounds like a good idea. I'll take it." Ismail handed his credit card "Sir can you please choose the size, colour and the kind of candy/flowers you'd like." He took a sip of his Espresso and scrolled through the iPad, choosing each item carefully, he added the message that he wanted after finishing he clicked on the place order button before handing over the device "when will it be ready?" He asked the girl who was assisting him "Due to the new year's coming up our workflow is heavy, we even stopped taking online orders, let me check the schedule... ok I reckon that it'll be delivered in three days if it's okay with you? If not I try to and see if I can rush the chef with this order." The girl/waitress explained he shook his "No worries no need to rush anyone, as long as you'll send it." After finishing up the order he left the shop and headed back to his office.
A/N : A little glimpse from Ismail's POV, I know he's hated, but it ends Soon I Promise 😅.
January 1st
"I'm guessing that someone was too excited to see me... No buts I'll go get it." Sama sheepishly smiled, he stood and made his way out of the restaurant Saeed offered to go get the phone, but Hamdan shook his head and insisted on doing so himself, he squinted his eyes when he saw one of his men talking to someone who's standing near Sama's Car, Hamdan fastened his pace and reached the car "is there a problem Abdalla?" He asked as he opened the car and retrieve the phone "this man has been standing near The Missus Car!" The man quickly turned and their eyes met "so it's You." He looked at Hamdan and his eyes widened "You're Hamdan..."
"I thought that I made it clear and I told you to stay away from her." Ismail was taken aback by him but he decided to play it cool "made what clear... wait you're the one who sent that man... you know nothing about Sama and I's relationship, I really don't want to disrespect you but you have No Right to threaten me." Hamdan dismissed the men and stood in front of him "I do actually... she's My WIFE and I'm willing to go to great extents just to protect her, and as for your so-called past relationship I know enough.. now here I am telling you Once again Stay away from her, don't make me do what I don't want to.." when he said my wife Ismail felt defeated, Hamdan turned around and was about to walk back to the restaurant when Ismail shouted "SAMA I LOVE YOU AND I KNOW YOU DO TOO... I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU NOR DO I STAND THE IDEA THAT YOU LEFT ME FOR ANOTHER MAN!! WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME??" Luckily the place they were in is remote no one was around to hear him, Hamdan turned around and walked back to Ismail "you're such a Hypocrite, you ruined your own relationship don't blame it on her, she only left because she has self respect you're the one who did her wrong it's not the other way around.. you never truly loved or valued her because if you did you wouldn't have cheated on her, I will do everything in my power to keep that smile on her face and to keep you as far away as possible... before I go Get a grip of yourself." As much as punching him felt as if was the right thing to do he decided not to and simply walk back to the restaurant....
Siting in his car Ismail allowed his tears to fall not sure if he's sad about Sama being married or the fact that he did it to himself, if hadn't cheated then they would've been married by now, he could've been the man she chose.
He knew he had to let go and move on, he loves her but he has to free himself from this love, if doing so will make her happy then he'll never stand in her way.
He picked up his phone and called his mother "hey mum، No no I'm okay listen remember what we talked about last night... I agree to do what you want.."

"Sorry I got a phone call and I needed to answer it it was important." Was the first thing he told her when he sat down in front of her "oh okay i did wonder what took you so long, I was about to head out and check on you." He smiled and took her hand in his giving it a light squeeze "I'm Sorry i kept you waiting, anyway did you order anything." She shook her head and he hummed before taking the menu, Sama smiled when she felt him trace a line across her wrist he then pulled a small box from his pocket t and asked her to pull her hair up and he placed the necklace around her neck, Sama laughed when she saw it "are you marking your territory?" Their eyes met and they both laughed "yes I am.." he held her hand again and then intertwined their fingers, both knowing that As long as they held hands like this, they're inseparable.
After finishing their food the two moved to sit at the lounge chairs Facing a big Glass Window overlooking the sea "I want to tell you something...but first promise me that you won't get mad at me." He looked at her questioningly with his eyebrows raised then nodded his head, she changed her sitting position so she could face him "the other day I overheard Ali and Ghanim's conversation and it turned out that Ismail came to the office during my Leave and I also think that he sent me Bouquet this morning, I'm telling you this because I don't want to hide anything from you." Very calmly he placed his cup on the table and held both of her hands and smiled, surprised by his reaction Sama gave him a questioning look he shook his head still smiling "he's not a part of our life... I will not allow him to be a constant shadow in it, what we have means the world to me, I really do appreciate you telling me." Her eyes met his and he gave her a warm smile making all the concerns/thoughts go away.

"The time goes by so Quickly when I'm with you." Hamdan cherishes the time he spends with Sama, the girl that gave his life a different taste, changing his perspective on many things, the arrived in front of Sama's Home "it does." she playfully pouted Hamdan smiled at her a Smile so genuine for the first time throughout their Relationship Sama felt Something she never knew that she could, she never knew that she could Love someone this much "I Love You." When those words left her lips the same feeling stroke in again, Hamdan stroked her cheek and said "I Love You." Cutting off their eye contact "now even though I really don't want to go, but I promised your mother that I'll bring you back home early, it's nearly nine O'clock, please tell you parents I Said Hello." Sama Laughed when he mentioned her mother for some unknown reason He Feared her Mother their conversation was cut short when his phone went off and he was Told that he was needed Urgently "I'm Sorry but I really need to go." He's facial expression changed and she could sense the he's Tense "is Everything Okay?" She was hesitant to ask at first but she decided to ask anyways without replying he just nodded and gave a small smile, even though his actions weren't convincing "okay.. but can you please call me when you get a chance..." he nodded giving her a small smile and a hand squeeze, they said their Good Night and Sama exited the car, she pulled out her Keys and opened the door and walked in as he drove away..
