"You're welcome.."Kazutora smiles, they were just finished with their hangout and Kazutora wanted to escort Baji home, to at least stay with him a little
The door in front of Baji opened and his mother emerged"Keisuke, you're back"she looks at Kazutora, who stiffened in his position"Ohh.. Who's this?"she asked
Kazutora avoided eye contact and bowed slightly"I'm Tora Hanagaki, nice to meet you ma'am"he smiled nervously
He forgot Baji lives with his mom, and let's just say.. In his timeline, Baji's mom was devastated, hurt, angry, emotions that you could think of, after knowing a person important to you died, she was so angry at him that he couldn't even look at her in the eye, and in his timeline she's still trying to heal, Chifuyu's been a great help to her
Kazutora himself wasn't sure why Chifuyu decided to help him though, maybe because of Baji, he wanted to know, but he himself couldn't ask, afraid of what Chifuyu would say
"Come in, I prepared dinner"she smiles at him
Kazutora shakes his head"I'd love to but I have to go home, my siblings are probably waiting for me.."he informs, hearing this Baji looks at him, surprised to know that he has siblings
"You have siblings, aniki?"he asked
Kazutora nods"Yep, I gotta go"he faced Baji's mom"Nice to meet you again"he bows before ruffling Baji's hair"Don't make your mom worry"he spoke before walking away
He meant what he said about not making her worry, that's why in this timeline, he'll surely save Baji, not wanting his mom to feel lonely after his death, if only he was sent further back in time, maybe he could at least prevent one more death that he caused, clenching his fist, he punched the nearest wall to him
"Woah~ There buddy.."he looks at the source of the voice to see a black haired male with cat like eyes
'Who's?..' Kazutora examined the person, trying to see if Chifuyu told him about someone that has the person's description
"Nice punch.."Kazutora snapped back to reality after hearing the male's voice"Mind telling me your name?"he asked
"None of your business.."he retreats his hand and starts walking away
"Would you tell me your name if I give you 10,000?"the person asked
Kazutora stops walking and he knows that the person is smirking, he turns his head to look at the person in the eye
"Don't need it, thanks.."he informs with a wave of his hand before he continues walking
The person was surprised by his answer, after all.. Anyone would do anything just to get their hands on money, the person quickly caught up to Kazutora to try and see if he can entertain him
'Hajime Kokonoi.. A Black Dragon member. In the future, his gang will be affiliated with Toman..' Kazutora thought as footsteps behind him were heard before it stops beside him, matching his pace
"What's your name?.."the person asked
"Pay me first"he informs not looking at the said person, deciding to play along with him
"No thanks.."
Kazutora smirks"That's fine, Mr.Kokonoi"he spoke before walking ahead
He saw a glimpse of Kokonoi's shocked expression making him chuckle, footsteps followed behind him, it didn't stop, even as he enters a convenience store
Getting a weird look from the person behind the counter when Koko just follows behind him, he ignored their look and continued to look for the item he came here for
He wanted to buy his usual bag of lollipops, since he doesn't smoke and doesn't plan to anytime soon
After paying for the bag, he ripped it open as he leaves the store, Kokonoi still following him from behind, he grabs a lollipop on the bag and hands it to Kokonoi, who was looking at it, once Kokonoi took it, he grabs his own and puts it in his mouth after unwrapping the cover
"How'd you know my name?.."Kokonoi asked
"I heard a few rumors here and there.."he answered not looking at him
"You still haven't answered my question"Kokonoi spoke
"Tora.."he smiled"I'll see you around"he waves before separating himself from Kokonoi, who seems like he wanted to talk more
Takemichi's house was nearby, so he had to separate himself from Kokonoi to avoid getting his address found, not wanting people to randomly show up in the house, specially if he's with the past Takemichi, and now that he's taking care of his past self, it's gonna cause some problems if he isn't careful
Speaking of his past self, it's almost time but Takemichi still isn't back, making him wonder what's been happening in the future
Is Chifuyu okay?.. What happened after he knew Kazutora supposedly died?..
Kazutora just hopes nothing bad will happen to Chifuyu in the future or he'll end Kisaki early if he needs to, entering the house, he saw Takemichi in the kitchen, who smiled at him, he smiled back and walks towards him, leaning on the counter behind him
"What you makin?.."he asked looking at him
"Just katsudon, nii-san"Takemichi answered looking at him
"How's your day?.."he asked as he walks towards a cabinet to prepare the table
"It's fine, nii-san.."Takemichi answered
"Where's Kazu?"he asked, wanting to know where his past self might be
"I don't know, nii-san.. When I came home, he isn't here"Takemichi answered looking at him
"He didn't message you or anything?.."he asked and Takemichi shakes his head
"Huh?.."Kazutora looks at the clock on the wall"I'll be right back.."he informs before leaving the house with his bike's key in hand
Hopping on the bike, he puts the key in the ignition and turns it, speeding off towards the place where he knew his past self would be
Arriving there, he saw Kazu on the swings, he hops off the bike and approaches his past self
Sitting on the other swing, he placed a hand on Kazu's head, making the latter look up at him
"You alright? You seem to be deep in thought.."he spoke with a small smile
Kazu hugged him, surprising him, he just let him there, patting him on the head and back, to let him know that he's here
'Wonder what's gonna happen after this is all over?..' Kazutora thought as he looks at his past self
"Aniki.."
Kazutora hums to let him know that he's listening, his hand still on top of his head
Kazu spoke but Kazutora couldn't hear him because his head was buried in Kazutora's chest
"What do you mean, Kazu?"he asked using the nickname he gave
Kazu didn't answer and just hugs him tighter, he returns the hug with a smile
"It's alright, I'm here.."he spoke, the arms around him got tighter
After a few minutes, Kazu calmed down and Kazutora took him home, Takemichi was already in the table waiting for them
"Hey, michi.. Sorry we took so long"Kazutora greets with a smile
"Kazu-nii.. Nii-san, let's eat!"Takemichi smiles while looking at them
Kazutora sat beside Takemichi while Kazu sat beside him, Kazutora just ruffles Kazu's hair with a smile when he looks at him
"Eat up, you'll both need it"Kazutora spoke ruffling their hair, gaining a complain from them
The next day, Kazutora wanted to find Hanma because it was almost time, he doesn't want to just watch Baji die in front of him again
He wanted to prevent that from happening, to save Mikey from his dark impulses
After all.. Without Baji and Mikey, he wouldn't be able to get away from his abusive father
The next few days, Kazutora was just waiting for Takemichi to come back, since the date was almost there, he only has to prevent his past self from stabbing Baji, so he won't try to stab himself
Pulling out his phone, he decided to look at pictures that he'd taken of Chifuyu, with a smile on his face, he scrolls through the photos
'I wonder if Fuyu's doing good?..' he though as he scrolls through a bunch of photo's of the said male
Unknown to him, Takemichi and Kazu was watching him, hiding behind the wall, while looking at his phone, as he scrolls through Chifuyu's photos
"Is nii-san gay?.."Takemichi asked as they watch Kazutora scroll through his phone
"Don't jump to conclusions, michi.."Kazu spoke, not taking his eyes off Kazutora's phone, pulling out his own, he tries to take pictures of the photos on Kazutora's phone
"What are you doing?.."Takemichi asked
"I'm getting evidence.. And also for black mail"Kazu playfully said making Takemichi look at him in surprise
"That's.."Takemichi didn't finish his sentence when Kazutora puts his phone back in his pockets and turns to their direction
"Ohh.. Didn't see you guys there"Kazutora looks at the both of them, confused as to why Kazu looks like he did something wrong"Everything okay?.."he asked confused
"Ye-Yeah.. Everything's fine, aniki"Kazu nods with a smile
"If you say so.. What do you guys want for dinner?"Kazutora asked as he stands up from his position
He looks at the two as he waited for their answer, standing in the door frame, the two was only looking at him
"You sure you guys are okay?.."he asked, worried that they might've gotten themselves into trouble
The two of them shakes their head"Everything's fine, aniki.. We just couldn't decided what to eat for tonight"Takemichi spoke and Kazutora nods
"I'll just prepare your favorites then.."he informs before leaving the room to go to the kitchen
When Kazutora was finally out of their sight, Takemichi turns to Kazu, who was checking his phone
"Let me see~"Takemichi spoke peeking over his shoulders
"I can't wait to use this.."Kazu smirked, Takemichi on the other hand was confused
Takemichi was sure he's seen that guy before but he couldn't quite remember where and when, he just shrugs the thought off and went towards the kitchen to help Kazutora
The next day Kazutora, Takemichi and Kazu was out to go to the shrine, wanting to spend time with the both of them, Kazutora decided to take them to the shrine where everything started for him
Arriving there, the three of them only sat on the stairs looking at the sky, Kazutora brought food though, so he pulls it out of the bag he's carrying
"Here you go.."he gave one for each of them before grabbing his own
"Why'd you take us here, aniki?"Kazu asked, clearly not wanting to be here
Kazutora knew Kazu wasn't exactly happy about being here because of the events that happened, he wouldn't blame him, he knew why he was like that at that time, but he's already past that
That's why.. He wanted to help his past self, by helping him overcome his problems, again.. If that's even possible
"This place is special to me.."he simple answered, gaining their attention
"What do you mean, nii-san?"Takemichi asked, clearly curious as to what he means
"I met a lot of great people in this place, made memories.. Both good and bad"he explains with a smile while looking at the two
"Can you tell us about them, nii-san"Takemichi spoke
Kazutora smiles and ruffled both of their hair, earning a smile from the both of them
"I'd rather not.. Maybe someday"he spoke looking up at the sky before he started humming a song that Chifuyu always sings to him
Takemichi, who clearly enjoys the music decided to ask"Did you write that song, nii-san?"
Kazutora turns to him"No, It's a song that a friend of mine always sings to me.."he answered, leaving the part where Chifuyu sings it to him to calm him down
"Is it the guy you always mention? What was his name again.. Fuyu?"Takemichi asked and Kazutora nodded
"Sing it for us, aniki"Kazu spoke looking at him
Kazutora smiles before deciding to sing it in front of the two, after all.. It's just the three of them, there's nothing wrong with that, though the song was released in his timeline, it wouldn't hurt to let them hear it before it gets released in the future
"Young people fall in love with the wrong people sometimes.."he starts off smiling at the two before placing his hand on their head and ruffling their hair
"Some mistakes get made.. That's alright, that's okay.."the two listened intently, not wanting to break the atmosphere that engulfed them after Kazutora started singing

He waited for the two to speak, his eyes widened when he saw a tear falling from Kazu's cheek, surprising him
Kazutora without a second thought hugged Kazu, who hugged him back, Takemichi just looks at the two of them, as Kazutora hugs his past self
"That was a nice song, nii-san"Takemichi spoke looking at him
Kazutora smiles at him, as he rubs circles on Kazu's back, while his other hand was on his head
"It is.. I'm glad you liked it"he smiles before looking at the sky
"Can you sing another song, nii-san?.."Takemichi asked, Kazutora looks at him and nods
"Sure.. I don't know why you want me to sing another one though.."he spoke before taking a deep breath
"Since the love that you left is all that I get, I want you to know.."he looks at the sky before at Takemichi, who was looking at him
"That if I can't be close to you, I'll settle for the ghost of you.. I miss you more than life"he sang as he ruffles Takemichi's hair making him smile, trying to prevent himself from crying, because this song was what he always sings whenever he thinks of Baji
When he first heard this song, it immediately reminded him of the male and ever since then, he couldn't stop thinking about him whenever he hears this song, that's why whenever he misses him, he would always sing it
"And if you can't be next to me, your memory is ecstasy.. I miss you more than life, I miss you more than life.."he just looks at Takemichi, who didn't break eye contact
"Did someone you know die, nii-san?.."Takemichi asked
Kazutora was surprised by this question but nodded anyways"How did you know?.."he asked, curious as to how Takemichi knew
"The lyrics just felt like it's not just about missing someone who's far from you, but rather.. Someone who's already gone"Takemichi explains and Kazutora sadly smiles at this
"You're right.. That's why I like this song"Kazutora looks at the sky
"Can I know how they died?.."Takemichi asked, Kazutora looks at him"I-It's fine if you don't want to, nii-san.."he quickly adds making Kazutora chuckle
"It's fine.."he looks up at the sky"He was my bestfriend, he.."Kazutora paused as he looks at Takemichi"He sacrificed himself to save me.."a simply answer yet the hard truth
Kazutora still regrets it to this day, if only he didn't try to kill him, if only he choose a different path that day, maybe he would still be alive in the future, Kazutora knew Takemichi felt guilty for asking, so he changed the subject by telling them things about Chifuyu
"Fuyu's out of town right now.. I don't know when he'll be back, but I can't wait for you guys to meet him"he smiles at Takemichi
'If it's possible..' Kazutora thought, knowing it was impossible for the three to meet
"What job does he have?"Takemichi asked looking at him, excited to know more things about this Chifuyu guy
"He owns a pet shop near Tokyo, I help out sometimes to lessen his work"Kazutora spoke looking at Takemichi"He was also a member of a known gang"he adds boasting about Chifuyu being in Toman, after all.. He's part of Toman, forever and always
He's thankful to Chifuyu for taking care of Baji when he wasn't there, filling the gap that he left when he was in juvie
"Really?.. What gang was it?.."Takemichi asked surprised and amazed by this
Kazutora didn't know how to answer that, so he lied"I don't know.. He just told me he was a part of one before, the only thing I know is that he doesn't like what the current Black Dragons are doing now.."he spoke, even though only half of them were true
Chifuyu did tell him he didn't like how Izana ruined Shinichiro's ideals, which made the Black Dragons turn into what they know now, or at least the one in this timeline that is..
"Can I at least know what he looks like?.."Takemichi asked, hearing this, Kazu removes his head on Kazutora's chest, to also see what Chifuyu looks like
Kazutora nods with a smile before pulling out his phone and giving it to Takemichi after opening the gallery
He watches the two scroll through his gallery, full of Chifuyu's photos
"If I knew better.. I'd say your gay, aniki"Kazu turns to him, Kazutora felt a tick mark appear on his head as he smiles
"Say that again, Kazu.."he warns with a smile
"Ehh?.."Kazu backs away from him slowly, while Kazutora was just smiling at him
In a split second, Kazu stood up and ran, Kazutora stood up and chases after him
"Get back here, Kazu!"Kazutora shouted, earning a laugh from the said male, while Takemichi just watches them as he cleans the mess that they've made
After the chase, Kazutora then rested a little, while Kazu and Takemichi was still looking at his phone, asking him questions about the photos that he took, to know what was the meaning behind it
"Hey, aniki.. What's this photo?"Kazu spoke showing him his phone
Kazutora looks at it and his eyes widened, it was a photo of the gang after he got released from juvie, they wanted to throw a party for him, though Mikey and Draken was missing in the photo
It was taken before Mitsuya was nowhere to be found, according to Fuyu, Kisaki had something to do about his disappearance, the other Toman captains and vice-captains was still alive except Mitsuya, he knew Mitsuya was not agreeing with how Mikey runs Toman in that future but he couldn't really do anything about it without Draken's help, who's already in jail at that time
"Those are the people I told you guys about.."he simple answered with a smile
"You mean.. The ones you met here?"Takemichi asked and he nods
"Can you tell us their names, aniki"Kazu looks at him and he was unsure if he should
"Fuyu's one of them.. He was the one who took that photo"he smiles, remembering how Chifuyu smiles at him whenever they make eye contact
"Ohh, how about this guy?.."Takemichi asked as he points at a silver-lilac haired male, it was reminding him of someone but he shrugs the thought off
Kazutora didn't know if he should use their real names since his past self was here, he faces the two with a smile
"Why don't you guys wait until you meet them, yeah?.."he spoke, ruffling their hair
"Okay, nii-san.."Takemichi smiles while looking at him
"Come on.. Let's go somewhere else"he offers them a hand after he stood up, the two took it and he lifted them up before they started walking
Placing an arm around Kazu, he ruffles his hair"I ain't gay.."he simple said earning a laugh from him
"Sure you aren't, aniki"Kazu spoke earning a headlock from Kazutora, while Takemichi just laughs at their antics
Kazutora brought the two to places him and Chifuyu always go to, it was the places they mostly go whenever him and Chifuyu go out to hang
He misses him, it's just sad that he can't see him, now that he's back in the past, but at least he'll be able to rewrite everything that he did wrong, starting with preventing his past self from killing his bestfriend, Baji
"Aniki? You okay?"Kazu asked, seeing how he was just looking at the water in front of them
They were under a bridge, a bridge that Chifuyu and him found when they were just driving around one night to gaze at the stars
"I'm fine, Kazu.. Just thinking"Kazutora smiles and ruffles Kazu's hair making the latter smile
Kazutora looks at Takemichi who's looking at the river, he smiles before his eyes widened when he sees a past memory where he stabs Baji from the back, shaking his head, he places a hand on the side of his head, worrying Kazu, who's beside him
"You alright, aniki?"Kazu asked clearly worried for him
"I'm fine.. Just suddenly got a headache"he turns to him"Let's go, I'm sure you both are hungry.."he spoke with a smile
Kazu nods before walking towards Takemichi to call him over, Kazutora stood up and looks at the two with a small smile
'Don't worry, Fuyu.. I won't let you down' he thought as he watches the two approach him
Once the two reached him, he places an arm around them with a smile before they continued walking, he'll probably take the two to his favorite restaurant, a restaurant Chifuyu first brought him to after he got released from juvie
