With Harry being so busy, whether it was on tour or on set of something new or in the studio, it made you cherish the little moments the two of you got together.
You and Harry had been together for just over two years, and your first Christmas together had been spent at Anne's which made it one to remember. It was still the plan to go to Anne's this Christmas, as you saw your family for the new year celebrations, however you and Harry had decided to spend the build up to Christmas at Anne's too.
Anne and Gemma had gone out Christmas shopping, leaving you and Harry in the house on your own. He'd insisted the two of you get into your Christmas pyjamas, which he'd also insisted be matching, and have a chill afternoon.
After a few hours of watching random Christmassy things on tv, you had an idea.
Harry had his head in your lap, so you leant down until your nose was against his. He chuckled at your actions, his breath fanning your faces.
"What's up cute stuff?" he quizzed, kissing your nose quickly.
You smiled. "Will you make a gingerbread house with me?"
His heart melted then and there. "Of course, I will baby," your eyes lit up when he said he would. "Show me the way."
Laughing, you got up and took his hand to drag him into the kitchen. Harry got Alexa to play some Christmas songs, which then meant the two of you danced around the kitchen more than you baked.
Harry was holding you in a ballroom hold, and making you waltz around the kitchen with him which was causing endless laughter.
Anne and Gemma chose to walk in at that moment, and they both smiled at the two of you and your pure happiness.
"Where was our invite?" Gemma asked jokingly, causing the two of you to turn to the doorway.
You laughed and left Harry to pull Gemma into a dance, to which she happily obliged.
You all eventually calmed down and Anne noticed the yet to be assembled gingerbread pieces on the counter. "What happened to this poor thing?"
Harry chuckled as he wrapped you in a hug from behind.
"It was Y/N's idea, she wanted us to build a gingerbread house," he explained, smiling as you placed your hands over his.
You sighed as you looked at your gingerbread. "But then Mr Styles here decided we should keep dancing round the kitchen instead of finishing it," you jokingly complained. "So, it remains as a half assembled gingerbread house – more gingerbread building blocks I suppose."
Anne laughed. "Well, a deconstructed gingerbread house is much easier to eat," she commented. "And Harry has never been one for keeping still in the kitchen."
Harry protested at his mother but kept hugging you close. "We'll try again next year I'm sure," you sighed as Gemma and Anne took their shopping upstairs.
You were spun around in Harry's arms, and he smiled down at you. "I have a suggestion for our baking next Christmas."
"And what might that be? That you'll actually let me build my gingerbread house?"
Harry shook his head, a big smile still on his face. "That we'll have a little pair of hands helping us next year."
Your mouth dropped open in surprise. "Are you suggesting what I think you're suggesting?"
"We can have our very own little helper," he told you with a look that melted your heart. "All of us in matching pyjamas obviously."
Your heart melted even more as you imagined a mini-Harry in matching pyjamas with their dad, how could you ever say no to such a suggestion.
