Lord Parashuram rolled his eyes for the umpteeth time. This is the 5th time that.... he looked at Radhey's face whose eyes were producing fresh tears.. whose idea is to make this boy closer to him. He's going to kill them..But wait..He himself approved this brat...See how much tears he's producing... He atlast sighed asking,"What's your problem now Radheya??" Karna faked a whimper perfectly saying,"How can you say that boy is most perfect when I'm literally standing beside you, Gurudev! How can you? I didn't expect you to be this much cruel! Lord Shiva, Are you seeing this injustice from Kailash?? Then please give me justice!!"
Dharani who came inside hut after taking water from nearby river saw Karn crying and got shocked. She cupped Karn's face asking,"Vasusen! What happened dear??" Lord Parashuram looked at this with wide eyes. No way...this brat will give extra story but before he could say anything Karn began to say his well versed story which doesn't even matched with real one.
Lord Parashuram sighed. It all happened when both of them went to nearby kingdom where they needed some medicinal plants. After collecting it, both of them were returning when Parashuram saw a boy tending a cow. He was tending it bit messily.
A Proud smile made a way towards Lord Parashuram's lips when he saw Karn going there and assisting the elder boy. Karn will treat the bleeding animal or person perfectly without a messiness or nervousness. Karn just gave instructions, while The boy tended the wounded animal.
Though the boy's skills were nowhere near Radhey, he loved to tease him. He said,"Look at the boy, Radheya! How perfect he is!!" And there he cursed his own brain when the boy began his dramatic crocodile tears...
It still amused Lord Parashuram. Like How the boy would perfectly produce tears without any difficulty.. and here he looked at Karn who was giggling with his wife but on seeing that he is looking at him, dramatic tears came out...
Lord Parashuram shook his head in amusement. He said,"From tomorrow onwards you're my Shishya, Radhey!! I'm going to teach you weapons" Karn stopped his acting abruptly. It's difficult to get emotions out of Radhey. But a shock mixed with Happiness reflected the boy's face and he saw him fidgeting within himself.
Lord Parashuram chuckled saying,"You can go out and celebrate!" And Radhey stood up running outside shouting,"Hear me! I became Lord Parashuram's shishya!!" Rain blessed the dancing Karn wholeheartedly while Parashuram watched the boy fondly..
Dharani chuckled. All these two years, Vasusen is medicine for her sorrow and loneliness. Each and every moment when he say 'Mata' her heart bloom in happiness. She looked at her husband saying,"Make him the World's best man, Swami! I want him to be best in everything. My Vasusen deserve everything!!"
Lord Parashuram nodded his head. It's not like Karn didn't learn anything these 2 years. Lord Parashuram taught him how to handle instruments, how to heal diseases, the meditation and discipline... but still he didn't taught any weapons. He just made the boy to work hard and toiled him to handle all the deadly weapons and divya ashtras. In these 2 years, never once he saw Vasusen giving up.
Vasusen learned every single thing from Lord Parashuram. And also learnt all shashtras. Even Lord Parashuram was shocked by his own soft behavior. He never scold the boy once in these 2 years. And Karn never let him. Radhey is the most perfect disciple with zero attitude. And Lord Parashuram was proud to have Karn as his disciple.
For Dharani, Karn is a gold. He never let her to be alone. He always made her sit beside him, telling her his most innovative stories, making her laugh until she begged him to stop. Dharani taught him all the morals, lot more patience, how to treat women and understand women even more better. And Karn learned how to cook, even he learnt better healing and meditation capabilities from her.
Before Lord Parashuram could scold the boy who was drenching in rain, Vasusen himself came inside drying his clothes and hair. And this is why Lord Parashuram love him too much. Vasusen know how to celebrate and how much to celebrate. And he saw the boy's kundal, which Karn already said about his natural armor and kundal in their early days itself.
And this surprised Lord Parashuram and now he understood why Karn showed more stubbornness and royalty often because in reality he was not an sutputra. Radhey is a mysterious boy not only character wise but by birth too... He felt two arms wrapping around him and heard,"Have a nice sleep, Gurudev! Tomorrow, I'm really excited! Thank you for accepting me as your Shishya. You'll never regret it!!"
Lord Parashuram never hugged the boy back but this is the habit of Karn to hug his Gurudev. And every evening before they sleep, he will just hug his Gurudev. Atfirst, Lord Parashuram felt Uncomfortable but later Karn said that His mother always hug him so that if both of them are angry with each other, they will not be angry while going to sleep". Thus, Lord Parashuram agreed. Now its even his own habit that he waited until the boy hugged him. He patted the boy's head saying,"Go away brat, I'm feeling sleepy!"
Dharani chastised, "Swami! Don't talk to child like that! You sleep Vasu! Mata will sing you one song". Karn gave his as usual innocent face to Mata Dharani resulting Dharani to coo. Lord Parashuram rolled his eyes. His shishya is a Brat who will manipulate everyone with his cute antics that sometimes Dharani will never hesitate to scold him for being strict with Vasusen!! Like seriously...
Karn who was moving to his hut said,"But tomorrow after practice, I need justice, Gurudev! You should reply my questions!!" Lord Parashuram swatted the boy's head saying,"Go and sleep, Radhey!!" The boy went to his own hut not before arranging his Gurudev's mattress perfectly.... Lord Parashuram looked at the boy and personally muttered a blessing to the bright child and hoped he will be good in weapons too...
The next morning Lord Parashuram woke up and saw the empty mattress at Radheya's hut. Ofcourse, he never knew when the boy will get up. He came out for prayer only to see Radheya in deep meditation. He smiled and proceeded to the lake nearby. After the usual morning routine, both Parashuram and Karn went to the practicing arena. Karna was feeling giddy. He heard from his Gurudev,"Radheya, choose a weapon. We'll start".
Karna looked at each other the weapon. Ace, Gada, Sword, Spear and atlast his favorite Bow. He saw Gurudev getting ready for practice. He took all the weapons in both his hands and bow in his shoulder. Parashuram looked at him with confusion while Karna sheepishly smiled saying,"I can learn all Gurudev! I'm just greedy in learning everything!!"
Lord Parashuram shook his head saying,"Ok, what would you love to learn first??" Karna enthusiastically saying,"Bow and arrow!!" Parashuram nodded his head saying,"Okok...Just keep that weapon in your hands. Having all of them makes you ridiculous!!" Karn sighed saying,"Oh I thought I look like Maha Vishnu.... Whoah! Don't glare, Gurudev! I'm just joking! You look scary!!" And they started the practicing....
Karn was very good...huh wait Karn was brilliant according to Parashuram. He learned all those basics in 3 hours and from then on, he was practicing non-stop. He stopped for lunch but then again began to practice. After 9 hours, Dharani threatened him that she will not let her husband to teach Radhey if he didn't stop his practice. Though Karn whined, he stopped when he saw Dharani's furious glare he kept his Bow and arrows down.

In Padasala, Kauravas and Pandavas along with Ashwatthama were learning their weapons in a very steady state. Guru Drona loved Pandavas more but none of the Kauravas lost their enthusiasm. They all learned for themselves. Though atfirst Ashwattama was close to both Pandavas and Kauravas, he later became friends with Kaurav Princes. He like Duryodhan can only tolerate Yudhister and Shahadev.
Arjun soon became apple to Guru's eyes and Drona promised that he will be the only beat archer in the world. Ashwattama and Duryodhan rolled their eyes but didn't say anything. Both the boys are mature too much for their age and that particular day, Duryodhan and Ashwattama were having lunch there when Ashwattama asked,"Mitr Duryodhan! What is your plan after Padasala??" Duryodhan said,"Going to search my mitr, Ashwattama! It has been 3 years since he went away from us!"
Duryodhan had already told everything about Karn to Ashwattama and he said,"Well I'll help you, Mitr!Even I'm eager to see him" Duryodhan chuckled saying,"He is very mysterious guy, Ashwa! He will be complete mischievous sometimes and stern sometimes...you'll have to see him..He'll always spread positive energy... Huh I miss him! Just because he was born in Sut caste, he was humiliated that much in society but he never once lost his smile and bright personality" Ashwattama looked at his friend who began to fiddle with the pendant again in lost thoughts.
Ashwattama atfirst was jealous of this Karn but as time passed, when he learnt about this Karn, he himself was fascinated by the character of that boy..he wished he will meet him once.
At that time, they heard the commotion and both the friends came outside only to see A tribal boy standing there saying,"Gurudev! Please ask Gurudhakshina. I learnt archery from you. My name is Eklavya!!" Ashwattama and Duryodhan looked at the boy's already hit target and raised their eyebrows at each other. Seems that Arjun got competitor. But their smirks faded away when they heard Drona saying,"I want your thumb as my Gurudakshina!!"
Duryodhan looked at their Gurudev with shocked eyes. What? How could he?? He looked at the Pandavas who has their mouth closed without any protesting. Before he could say something, Eklavya cut his right thumb and gave it to Drona. Duryodhan felt bad. He could see the pain in those eyes and he left the place unable to stand there. He felt Ashwattama patting him on his back saying,"Leave it! Leave it. Take it easy!!"
Though Pandavas felt bad, they held little relief that Arjun will be best archer in this world not knowing that in the Mahendra Hills An Archer was practicing to become one of the best archers in this world....
Ashwattama who saw the tribal boy moving away crying muttered to himself,"You deserve much better, Eklavya! I apologize on behalf of my father!!"
Shri Krishna who witnessed everything in his mind chuckled...Silly thing...He booped the nose of his little sister Subhadra and told himself...
"Well I'm eagerly waiting how Karn will going to meet Pandavas and Kauravas?? Will it be emotional or the fight for dominance....Only time tells..."
He took his flute and began to play the soft tune making everyone around him mesmerize by his music...
