A second part of this imagine. Now, as usual for me, this story has gotten much bigger in my head. And thanks to a request from Huffledor06, it will have a different kind of ending. So, I hope that you all enjoy. And this chapter has Tyrion in it too, but the next will be all Joffrey.
(Y/n) stared absentmindedly out of the window. Her thoughts firmly on her nephew. She had no idea what had happened to the sweet little boy that he had been. The little bundle of blonde hair and giggles that would throw himself into her arms whenever he saw her. Would cry, when his mother or one of the servants tried to take him from her. She had no idea what had happened to the boy that had loved nothing more than to watch her on the practice arena. Loved nothing more than listening to her old war stories. Smiling as she described how she got all her best scars. Yet (Y/n) did know one thing. And that was she had to place the blame on his mother. On his father. Robert had never really cared about any of his children. Never really had the desire to get to know them. And given that, Cersei had then spoiled Joffrey. Giving him anything and everything he wanted. Condoning his bad behaviour. Thus, turning her oldest son into an entitled monster. Yet what could she say? Cersei was queen. The lady of Casterly Rock. And even though (Y/n) knew that Cersei deserved none of her titles. Even though she knew her sister could be a vindictive and cruel fool, that believed she was more intelligent than everyone else. She was still Joffrey's mother, and it had been up to her, how she would raise her son. But seeing what she had seen since Joffrey had placed his backside on the Iron Throne, (Y/n) knew that things had to change. That she would have to watch over Joffrey and turn him into a king that she herself would be proud to serve. And she would do that, not just for the family. Not just for the people of the Seven Kingdoms. But for Joffrey himself.
"I heard that you had a run in with out dear nephew." A voice came, as it entered her rooms. The familiar tone making her chuckle.
"Yes. Just a little. I felt compelled to give the boy a few home truths." (Y/n) replied. Smiling as she turned to see her younger brother. Tyrion coming to join her at the window.
(Y/n), just like Jaime, had never blamed Tyrion for their mother's death. For (Y/n), it was just one of those things. People died everyday in a multitude of fashions. Many of them women in childbirth. So, she could not lay fault at the feet of her little brother. And given that, as well as the fact that Tyrion felt as though his sister was the only person that he could really have a proper conversation with, they had always gotten along.
"I wish I had been there. I can imagine that it was quite a scene. I mean, I should know, I have been on the sharp end of your tongue a number of times. Your dressings down are legendary. They still talk in hushed tones about the one you gave Bronn. I swear that I have never seen him look so shocked or quiet." Tyrion chuckled, as he climbed up onto the seat below the window and patted the spot next to him. (Y/n) happily joining him.
"It was nothing really.............."
"That's not what I heard. I heard that you told him that he wasn't fit to be king. That he was a coward. That you wouldn't let him watch over your horse, never mind the kingdom. That you called him a little fuck and threatened to give him the point of your sword." Tyrion interrupted. Sounding far to happy about the whole situation. Not that (Y/n) could blame her younger brother. She wouldn't treat a dog the way Joffrey treated Tyrion. So, she could understand his amusement at the little shit receiving one of her tongue lashings.
"Well, I might have said something along those lines. But it was something that he needed to hear. And goodness knows that no one else will tell him. Everyone else is too afraid of losing their heads, to tell him what he really needs to hear." (Y/n) said. Her smile growing broader, as her brother gripped her hand.
"And what about you, (Y/n)? Are you not afraid? I would hate to see Joffrey turn on you. I would hate to lose you. I..................."
"Please, brother. I assure you that you have nothing to fear. And nor do I. Joffrey would never dare do anything to me. Despite the awful creature that he has become, I know that he would never harm me. And, have you not heard the rumour about me? The one that says that if I ever lost my own head, the head of a real lioness would sprout up in its place." (Y/n) laughed, as she placed a kiss to her brother's forehead.
"That.........and.........well, I have promised to take him back under my wing. I have promised to show him how he can be a real king. A true king........" (Y/n) continued, as she turned her gaze back out of the window. Well aware that her brother would have an opinion on that.
"What? Why? Why would you bother, (Y/n)? Nothing can fix that boy. Well....... perhaps a blade to his throat. But............" Tyrion began to protest. (Y/n) raising her hands to stop him.
"I have to do something, Tyrion. Father can do nothing with the boy. Cersei is useless. He treats Jaime with utter disdain. And you, well......he just hates you. I know that I can help him. That I have to help him. Not just for the good of the kingdom, but for all of us. If he is to sit on the throne for years to come, then someone needs to stop him from destroying everything. But if nothing changes. If he remains the same, even with my help. I have a feeling that our brother will not be the only Kingslayer in the family." (Y/n) explained with a heavy sigh. Tyrion simply nodding his head in agreement. The little man knowing that there was no point arguing with (Y/n) once she had her mind set on something. And that, if she had to, she would do what she had to do for the good of the kingdom. Tyrion just hoping that he would have the honour of being there, if she did.

Joffrey made his way through the corridors of the Red Keep with Sandor in tow. He was on his way to see his aunt, and the fact that the Hound was following him, was proving highly annoying. Especially as he just wanted to be alone with (Y/n).
"I told you that I did not require you, dog. I am going to see my aunt. And I know that she will protect me better than you will." Joffrey scoffed. Stopping dead in his tracks and turning to glare at the big man.
"Now leave me alone!" Joffrey continued, before turning again and heading off. Sandor really not in the mood to argue with the atrocious boy. The Hound more than happy to leave the little shit to his very capable aunt.
Joffrey couldn't wait to see his aunt. Since their conversation the evening before, the young king had been unable to think of anything other than the lioness. He had found something exciting about her anger. Something erotic about the way she had glared at him. About the way that she had stood over him and growled. About her rage. So much so, that he had pleasured himself using the memories of her in the throne room. Imagined that his hand had been hers. Imagined that once she had ordered the others out of the room, that she had undressed before him. That she had offered herself to him. And that he had taken her right there. Right on the Iron Throne. And now he needed more. He needed more memories. More images that he could use until he could persuade her to make it real. Until he could persuade his aunt to really love him. And promising that he would let her help him to become the king that he should be, just meant that he would be able to spend as much time with her as he wanted. That just like when he was a child, he would quite happily sit at her knee.
"Aunt (Y/n). I..............." Joffrey began cheerfully. His eyes turning dark as he saw his uncle holding his sister's hand. The two siblings taking happily. Joffrey not liking the idea that the imp of all people, would be taking up her time.
"Leave!" Joffrey ordered, as he glared at Tyrion. The little man looking between his sister and nephew, as (Y/n) quickly got to her feet and made her way over to the boy. The feared lioness standing toe to toe with the king.
"That is no way to speak to your uncle. A king has manners, boy. So, if you want to learn to be a king, you better start learning to use yours." (Y/n) growled. Joffrey gulping as she glared at him. The king quickly moving his garb to cover the fact that he had just become very aroused.
"I..........My apologies, uncle. I would very much like to speak with my aunt. So, if you will excuse us." Joffrey, managed to say. Tyrion once again looking between his sister and nephew. The little man shocked that with just a few words, (Y/n) could make the petulant child, well, polite.
"Yes, yes. I will............I will be off to find Bronn." Tyrion replied, as he jumped down from the seat and quickly made his way to the door. The little man wondering what other miracles his sister could possibly achieve with Joffrey, if she was given a little more time.
