Mai had just finished getting ready while Lakinna and Terri were waiting for her in the living area. The three were now almost two hours late because it always took a long time for Mai to get ready. She was so indecisive.
Mai never liked going to parties at the time they started anyways, she enjoyed showing up fashionably late. After taking hours trying to decide on an outfit, she decided to wear ripped mom jeans, a white tank bodysuit which revealed her pierced nipples, and her black and white Nike dunks.
"I'm ready." Mai stepped out from her bedroom into the living area after grabbing her cognac cross body MCM purse. She made sure to close her room door.
"Finally!" Lakinna dramatically said before standing up and taking in her best friend's appearance, "You look cute though."
"Than—"
"All I know is, Jessie bet not be fucking with no bitches at this party. If I walk in and see that nigga hugged up on some bitch, I'm fighting every hoe in there!" Terri cut Mai off before she could respond, ranting about Jessie.
"I don't see why you don't just cut that nigga off!" Lakinna shook her head as she pulled out her phone from her back pocket to call their Uber while the three made their way out of Mai's apartment, "He's grimey."
"He's a grimey nigga with good dick." Terri corrected as she pressed the button for the elevator.
The three continued to chat about Jessie until they reached the first floor and headed out of the complex to wait for the Uber.
Once the Uber arrived, the three girls hopped in and were on their way to their destination. When they arrived, the party was packed per usual blasting Judge Scott Convicted by Young Nudy. Mai mentally roll her eyes due to the amount of people.
"Damn, this shit more poppin' than last night." Lakinna bopped her head to as the song changed to Special by EST Gee. The three girls walked through the door, "Let's get a drink." Mai nodded her head but before they could walk off to the drink station, Terri spotted Jessie from across the room.
"Oh hell nah! He got me all the way fucked up!" Terri barked as she glared at the sight. Mai and Lakinna faced the direction Terri was referring to and saw Jessie hugged up in the corner with a random girl as he rapped the lyrics to the song.
"That's exactly why I keep telling you to drop that cheating ass nigga." Lakinna shook her head at the sight.
She wasn't going to keep repeating herself. If Terri wanted to look stupid, than Lakinna was going to let her look stupid.
"Whatever. I ain't letting him get to me. Let's get a fucking drink." Terri waved it off as if she didn't care although she wasn't going to let it slide at all.
The three girls walked into the kitchen where the drinks were located. Each girl got a cup of jungle juice that was in a large glass bowl on the counter. The three headed back to the main area and as Lakinna was sparking up conversation, Terri ran over to Jessie and the girl, and threw her drink all over the two.
"The fuck Terri?!" Jessie barked as he wiped his face and looked over his clothing which was now stained with different alcohol and fruits.
"Bitch, you got the wrong one!" The girl mugged Terri as she felt the juice dripping down her face and onto her clothing.
"Who you calling a bitch, skank!" Terri retorted as she looked over how wet the girl and Jessie was, "Yall deserve each other! Y'all both look a mess!" She cackled at how pissed the two were. Jessie was pissed that she got alcohol all over his Amiri hoodie. He grabbed her arm and dragged her out of the party leaving the girl stuck.
"I knew that bitch had something up her sleeve." Lakinna shook her head, looking over at the girl who was soaked and upset, "I feel bad for her."
"Yeah, she didn't deserve alcohol thrown on her but Jessie most definitely did." Mai sipped her drink as she looked around to check her surroundings. She spotted a familiar face and knew exactly who it was. Mai scoffed a little to see his arm wrapped around another girl.
"I know I did not fuck no dude with a girlfriend." She said to Lakinna which caused her to look over at Meech with his arm around Deedra.
"Damn..." Lakinna sighed and quickly thought, "Maybe they're not together?"
"He wouldn't be that close with a bitch he not with." She felt disgusted with herself. Mai couldn't believe she was a homewrecker. She thought he should've had enough sense to stop what they were doing last night.

It wasn't long before Meech recognized Mai as well. Although he had Deedra around his arm, he couldn't help but to stare over at Mai. He licked his lips at the sight of her.
"Meech, what are you looking at?" Deedra looked up at him as he quickly focused back on her.
"Aint shit, checkin' my surroundings just incase shit pop off. We good, Dee." He lied quickly, "You good, you need somethin'?"
"Ima' go pee right quick." Deedra passed him her red cup as he removed his arm from around her.
"I'll come with you, girl." Her friend, Anasia said causing June to unwrap his arm from around her. The two girls walked off together towards the bathroom.
"Fuck you was lookin' at nigga?" Peanut raised a brow. Meech knew his friends were going to ask. They couldn't help but to be nosey.
"Nosey ass nigga." Meech mugged him while shaking his head a bit, "The girl I took home last night over there." He motioned his head over to her.
"Oh shit! Deedra gon' put her foot up yo' ass and her fist down yo' throat." Chop laughed before focusing his attention on Mai, "And she fine as hell too!" Licking his lips at the sight, he rubbed his belly a bit. Meech always bagged the fine ones while Chop was still searching for love. Fat niggas need love too.
"Her friend fine too." Peanut nodded while staring at Lakinna.
"If y'all think Meech gon' let y'all talk to that bitch, y'all don't know this nigga." June chuckled referring to Mai, "He got Deedra but that's his piece now too."
June knew how possessive Meech was over his women. Although Mai and Meech hadn't known each other for more than a day, June knew nobody out of the group could mess with her.
"That ain't my piece. Y'all niggas ain't touching her though." Meech and June shared a laugh while dapping each other up, "I'm finna slide over there. If Dee come back, tell her that's my cousin."
"We got you." Chop nodded as Meech walked off towards Mai.
As he approached, Mai rolled her eyes and purposely looked off into a different direction.
"You lookin' fine as shit again." He licked over his lips, looking down at her.
"Thanks Meech." She brushed him off and sipped on her drink some more.
"Fuck you got an attitude with me for?" He scrunched up his face a bit.
"You should've told me you had a girl before we fucked last night." She mugged him as Lakinna minded her business and sipped her drink. Lakinna knew Mai wasn't stupid like Terri. Mai had rules when it came to her sneaky links. Her number one rule was no girlfriends. She didn't want to be labeled as a homewrecker and Lakinna understood that.
"That ain't my bitch. Just 'cause she in here with me tonight don't mean shit."
Meech could tell from her facial expressions she was uninterested. Mai was far from stupid. He wasn't lying but he wasn't telling the full truth either, "Why you ain't lock my numba' in yo' phone?" He watched her sip her drink, growing irritated from her attitude.
Knowing how Mai was last night in bed, he wanted to take her to the car and get a quickie in but he knew Deedra would fuck that up for him. If Deedra caught him talking to Mai, she would make a ghetto scene in the party.
"I don't recall you telling me your number, Meech." Mai chuckled as she looked up at him. He was too fine for her to be giving him attitude but Mai knew she had to play her cards right. She was a player before anything and she wasn't going to let one man take her as a joke.
Meech pulled out his phone, looking back to make sure Deedra wasn't back from the bathroom. He opened his phone and gave it to her. Mai proceeded to type in her number.
"You finna let me slide thru' tonight?" He asked as she handed his phone back to him and he slid it into his black Balmain jeans pocket.
"One night stand." Mai joked which made Lakinna chuckle a bit.
"I'm finna text you when I'm on the way." He ignored her before walking off leaving Mai stuck. As he approached his group of nosey friends, he knew they were going to full of questions since they watched the entire scene.
"Fuck you say to her?" Chop asked first.
"Yall some nosey ass niggas, man." Meech shook his head laughing as Deedra and Anasia approached them again.
"The line was long as shit." Anasia rolled her eyes as she popped her gum, fanning herself off with her hand. It was hot due to all of the body heat.
"Ain't nobody fuck with y'all, right?" June looked at both of the girls as he snaked his arm back around Anasia. Kissing her cheek, she blushed instantly.
"Hell no." Deedra assured, "I wish one of these little ass bitches would."
Deedra and Anasia became close friends after Meech started bringing her around June. Anasia was always at June's house when they were over so the two clicked easily. They were damn near ride or die for each other being that both of the girls grew up around the same lifestyle. Both of the girls had no problem fighting anyone at any given time.
"That's right, girl. I really wish a bitch would!" Anasia co-signed while nodding her head in agreement.
"Stop that shit, ain't nobody tryna see y'all fight."Chop mugged both of them. He never liked neither of the two but knew to be respectful for the sake of Meech and June.
"Whatever, Chop. Don't downplay me like I'm one of these young ass bitches. A degree don't mean shit. I'll beat a hoe with that degree." Anasia said causing the two girls to cackle as Meech continued his focus on Mai.
The remainder of the night the two different groups continued to kick it but Meech's mind was on Mai the entire time.
