three years later
"Baby?" I yell out from the bedroom and I don't get an answer, I don't know how I put up with this old man for so long
its been around three years since I joined harry but its been 4 years since I met harry in that coffee shop that one day, after the day he got revenge it came up on the news that Matthew and Patrick have been found dead both by suicide but I knew that it was harry
I didn't know what to feel, I was relieved that we didn't have to deal with them anymore but I was terrified that harry did something like that, I wasn't terrified of him I was scared that it would change him killing someone
but it didn't, it made him feel better because he was able to protect me which I was thankful for, because that meant he loved me more than I would ever know
we moved on, we went on road trips, we hung out with our family everyday
I cut off my mom, for good this time, I told her that I wouldn't let her dictate my happiness and with that I blocked her contact and got a restraining order, I cried a lot that day but ember and harry were there
we partied, we got drunk, we wrote songs, and we found a new company, fine records
and harry is best friends with the CEO, his names Nick
He's been over with the others a lot and Harry and I are going for dinner tonight, well now thats why I'm calling harry is because we have to fucking leave
"Harry?" I yell out and still no answer, I pull on my black mini dress and I grab my purse walking out the bedroom door
I walk into the living room and I'm met with harry giving me sex eyes as he sits on the living room swing
just like old times, "Harry we have to go, did you feed daisy?" I ask
we rescued daisy our pit bull from the shelter around 6 months ago, she reminds me of ripley exactly so I knew we needed her
"Hello earth to harry" I yell and he shakes his head and I see his eyes rake down my body and I smile
"no we're not doing this right now, we need to go" I shake my head and walk towards him, he pulls me down and I feel us swing back and forth, I laugh and I feel his lips attack to my neck but I try to stand up once again
"Harry, we have all the time for that, we need to go to this dinner" I say and he groans, "I don't wanna" he pouts and I pull him up to his feet
I swear he's a child
"yes I feed my daisy baby, and the car is started" he says and I let out a breath, I grab his hand and I lead him to the car
I get in the passenger seat and I buckle up as he pulls out of the driveway
The guys put out a new album around three months ago and we will leave for tour again in a couple of months around February next year, I'm a featured writer on that album as well which makes me happy
Ember and Lou are engaged he proposed to her last year around Christmas time, we had a secret Santa and he proposed to her in a Santa suit and she said no, and then he started to cry which scared us all and then she laughed and said yes of course she would marry him and then the rest is history
"this looks oddly familiar" Harry whispers and parks, we walk up to the doorway and Nick answers the door, he gives us both hugs, he's around mid thirties he's got black harry and he's very fit as well
"Welcome welcome, meet Olivia my wife and these are my two kids, milo and kenna" he introduces us and I give the kids hugs, kenna looks around ten and milo looks 12
"so dinner is ready in the backyard, can I get you guys anything to drink?" Olivia asks and I smile
"oh I'll help carry out drinks" I say to her and she nods, we walk into the kitchen together and she gives me a couple drinks to carry out, "you know, nick adores harry" Olivia whispers and I smile
"really?" I ask and she nods, "he talks about his work ethic all the time I feel like I know the kid, he seems sweet" she says and I laugh as we walk out of the kitchen, "yeah he's the sweetest" I say and we walk into the backyard
I walk out of the house and I feel this sense of home, it feels to familiar. I look in front of me to see the kids and nick and harry sitting at the table thats right by the fireplace and seating wall
I look out into the distance and I see a parking garage, the realization hits me and I find my eyes on harry and his on mine
that was the garage we were at that first dinner before the tour three years ago, when we stargazed, when I fell in love with harry and I didn't know it yet
and this was the family, kenna and milo were younger and they were the kids that were running around the fireplace, I cant help but laugh and he does the same, I set the drinks down on the table and I sit down next to harry
he leans over and I hear him whisper, "crazy how the world works huh?" and I laugh at his words
we enjoy our dinner and we talk about the band, we talk about the future and then we talk about zodiac signs and then our favorite music, we could talk about probably anything with them, I hear kenna yell at milo, "give me back my iPad" Kenna yells and milo laughs at her standing up
"Milo give it" she yells and stands up, he starts to run around the fireplace and kenna chases him and I get deja vu
"sorry guys, they do this all the time" Olivia smiles and I smile back, "I can imagine" I say and I feel Harrys hand slip into mine, I see nick look at our hands and he stands up
"I'm gonna go grab desert, honey come with me" he says and she follows him into the house
"Holy fuck" I whisper and Harry laughs, "I know, can you believe it" he says and I shake my head, "we manifested" I say and he smirks, "I'm in love with you" he sighs and I peck his lips, I turn to the fireplace and, kenna and milo have moved to the seating wall and they're playing a game together now
I see Nick bring out chocolate cake and I smile, my favorite
"this looks amazing" I say and Olivia smiles, "thank you" she nods and she starts to slice into it serving a slice on each plate and handing them out, kenna and milo devour theirs and harry and I are savoring ours
I feel something hit my nose and I look to see Harrys hand dipped in chocolate and its now on my nose, "harry" I yell and he does it again but now to my cheeks he stands up and so do I
he runs around the fire place and I chase him, I try to catch up to him with my cake but he's too fast and I stop and laugh, I turn around to harry down on one knee

"esme, I cant imagine living my life with anyone else, ever, you are the only one for me. I want you for the rest of my life, you and your stupid Dr Pepper and Cheetos puffs and the way you wait for me to make you breakfast and how many times a day you ask for back rubs, I want it, I want it all"
"will you marry me, goldie?" he asks and I see the ring box open, its a rose gold band, and on the band is connect with simple leafs incrusted with diamonds and in the center is one round big diamond, I feel the tears well up and I nod at his question, "yes smiley, yes I will" I whisper and he jumps up pull me into a hug, he picks me up and twirls me
I'm living my own fairy tale and I couldn't be happier, with him
