Almira's POV:
Today is the day that our parents have to get our cards. I was so nervous because I was thinking that "What if there are subjects that I failed". Mom got my card and saw my grades. The grades are only 80-90 not even 92 or 95.
When we got home mom confronted me about it. We fight and after our fight, I went to a bar with my friends.
We were so drunk that night. We can't do anything normally and all our eyes are blurry. We drove home even though we're so drunk. My friend didn't recognize the car in front of us. We crushed and Woked up in a hospital. And I'm the only one who doesn't have a relative in the hospital.
A doctor came to my room and talked to me.
Doctor: ok na po ba kayo Ms Marcos?
Almira: Yeah sort of
Doctor: Wala naman po kayong malalang sugat. Galos lang po ang natamo niyo. Pero may konting sugat din po kayo sa Ulo niyo.
Almira: Thank God
Doctor: Pero alam niyo ho ba na meron po kayong Tumor sa utak niyo?
Almira: What!?
Doctor: Yes po ma'am. Maaaring ito ay dahil sa aksidente. Malala Po ang lagay niyo ma'am. I'm so sorry Po.
The doctor left the room.
I was shocked on what the doctor said. How can you get a tumor in an accident. But it happens, I will just accept this tragedy that I'm experiencing.
I got home but mom is not home yet. So I walked to my room to rest. When I woke up, I decided to eat lunch and don't wait for mom. Then Mom just got home and shouted at me.
Imee: Hoy babae!
Almira: What mom?
Imee: Saan ka galing kagabi ha?
Almira: In my friends house *lied*
Imee: Pag naglayas ka pa ulit wag kanang babalik ah.!
Almira: *rolled eyes*
Imee: Kumain kana?
Almira: Yes I'm done
I felt guilty in not saying mom the truth. And not telling to her about my condition. So I just texted my siblings about it.
POV: The Group chat
Borgy: oohh new GC 🙂
Almira: kuya I just have something to say.
Mike: What is it?
Matthew: spill it
Almira: Kuya I had an accident last night.
Borgy: What!
Matthew: What!
Almira: But kuya I don't have severe wounds.
Mike: Thank God
Almira: But I have a critical condition
Borgy: What is it?
Almira: I have a brain tumor kuya
Borgy: Oh My God Almira! We have to tell this to mom
Almira: please no kuya
Matthew: But it's a tumor Almira!
Mike: Tumor is not a joke Almira do you understand!
Almira: ok fine I'll tell mom, I'll just go the park and when I got home I'll tell her.
Borgy: Good!
Mike: ok
Matthew: okay
