(Just to get in the theme :3)
The decomposing dragon roared as it swung its claws down, knocking Ruby out of the way. It wheezed as it looked at her, she was able to see that the monster had two Jaws, although one of them looked as if it was dislocated. It roared as it jumped at her, she used her semblance to run out of the way. It snapped its head at her chasing her through the vale, she was surprised and terrified that the beast was able to keep up with her using her semblance. The dragon had stopped as they had entered a narrow way. She turned back and watched it is inhaled, the clouds of gas covering its body collected towards its head. It had turned the gas into a weapon and fired it as a beam at her. It quickly came down the narrow way of the cave, her eyes widened as she tried to outrun it, but it was quickly gaining on her. Out of nowhere she was tackled to the ground as the mass of gas had shot over her and hit the wall ahead, destroying it. It was Ren who had saved Ruby
Ren: Go!
She yelled as she got up and ran into a crevasse in the wall. Ruby looked back towards the Dragon, seeing it charge her once more. She ran into the crevasse as the Dragon tried to bite her. It growled and roared as it scratched the wall, shooting a small bit of its gas at the crevasse. It stopped and glared into the hole, watching them run. It only roared in anger and had walked away. Ruby and Ren had grouped up with Weiss, Joan, Pyrrha, and Nora. They were all out of breath especially Ren. Although hers was much more severe. Her breaths became heavy as she collapsed to the floor. They gathered around her, seeing that her back was releasing the gas that was fired at them.
Nora: what's wrong with her!
They tried to wipe away the gas, using there's clothes to try and wipe it away, but it wasn't doing anything. Ruby had brought out the book, looking through it seeing if she could find an answer, she had found and read the gases name: Effluvial; a toxic gas that is fatal towards human and Faunus. But immune to Monsters other than the Hellish Fiend, only cure being known as Nullberrys. Ruby saw the picture of what the berry's looked like, she shut the book and dashed off
Weiss: where are you going!!
Ruby didn't answer as she kept running. She was having a hard time finding the berry's as there was hardly anything growing in the Rotten Vale. Ruby had entered an open area where she saw an aqua blue water, she tilted her head as she had walked over to the small lake, she was about to dip her hands in, but stopped as she noticed small bubbles. She had grabbed the book, not seeing anything about water inside the Vale. She flipped until she found an empty page, ripping it out and dropping it into the water. She watched as it disintegrated; she realized she was about to dip her hands into acid.
Ruby: God, this place is messed up, how does anything live down here.
She put the book away and looked around, until she noticed a plant by the edge of the lake of acid. She had to take the book out once more and looked at the picture of Nullberrys, and looked back up at the plant. She had found them, she quickly ran over to the berry's, but skid across the ground as the Dragon rose from the lake.
Vaal Hazak:
It looked at Ruby and merely growled at her. It roared and jumped at her, she tried to dodge, but one of it's fangs hooked her cape. She screamed as it lifted her up and swung it's head from side to side, trying to mangle her. She had unclipped it, sending her into the wall. She groaned as she got up. The dragon stopped and hissed at her and charged. She rolled out of the way, causing it to bang it's head against the wall. It roared in pain as if fell onto it's side. She took the chance and ran off, it quickly got itself back up and roared at her, she looked around as a lightbulb appeared above her head. She gathered the last bit of confidence she had left in her although her legs were shaking still.
Ruby: c-come at you me you big meanie!!
It roared at her and charged, She stood there as it linger, she dashed out of the way, but the dragon skid and hit it's side against the wall. It hissed and continued to chase her. This went on for a minute or so, the Dragon chasing her like a cat chasing a laser, constantly bashing it's head and body against the same wall it had rammed into the first place over and over. It had had enough, standing on its hind legs and roaring, it gasped as it shot the Effluvium at the ground causing a mass cloud of the foul odor. Ruby was blown away by it, when she hit the ground she gasped as it was getting hard for her to breath. The beast growled as it stomped it's way towards her, it clicked a few times before making it's shriek and sucking the Effluvium off her. She gasp d for air, the veins on her body becoming visible and turning black, her skin grew pail as it felt like her soul was getting sick out. The beast stared into her eyes, the beast stopped as it felt something grab onto it's face, it roared in confusion as it was launched into the wall, bashing it's head again. It roared in pain as it fell over, Ruby's initial plan was to make it run into the same wall ove and over again until the wall collapsed and the ceiling caved in. Her plan had worked thanks to the help of the stranger. He had run over to Ruby as the ceiling caved in onto the Dragon. He had picked up Ruby and carried her away from the area. The dragon rose our of the rocks and hissed as it tried to jump at them, but ended up falling to the ground. It looked back, seeing that it's tail and right wing was under the rubble, it growled and roared in anger as it scratched and bit at the rocks. The stranger had placed Ruby on the ground, as she was still trying to breath, the stranger grabbed Nullberrys from their pouch and out them in the girls mouth, making her chew then and then swallow. Within second she gasped for air and the veins quickly went away. She sat up patting herself down, that was when she looked at her savior they were sitting down on a rock, while holding a very large katana
She just looked around as the stranger sat there.
Ruby: uh, h-hello?
She asked as she was very nervous, the stranger stood up, putting the Katana on their back and reached into their pouch. They threw a small bag of Nullberrys at her, she looked down at them and back up at them. She picked them up as the stranger began to walk away. She noticed that they were going in the same direction, she was nervous as they walked down the path. They turned the corner and had gotten back to Weiss and Jnpr; she ran over and gave them the Nullberrys
Ruby: make her eat them, they're supposed to o clear away the Effluvium
Ren's head was resting on Nora's lap, Joan had opened her mouth and placed two of the berry's inside her mouth, making her chew and swallow. Ren's breathing stabilized l, but she was still out cold. That was until Weiss noticed the stranger, just standing there
Weiss: who the hell is that?
They all turned, seeing the stranger standing there, still not saying a word.
Ruby: oh, well they saved me! I was trying to get the berry's, but that Dragon was in the way and--
Stranger: Vaal Hazak
They all turned to the stranger as they had turned out to be another male? They spoke in a low and gruff tone
Ruby: y-you're a boy!?
Stranger: Indeed, I am. You're lucky I came when I did. A second too soon and you would've been Vaal Hazak's puppet like many others.
Pyrrha: but how are you here? The only males in our world is Y/N and technically Frank
Stranger: The gods spoke of Y/N, I am raised with watching over him, but it appears that he has already become Xeno'jiiva.
Nora: gesundheit
Stranger: I didn't sneeze, your brother is a being beyond understanding, back where I am from we don't even know anything about his species. As they are new, but we managed to take him out before he was able to cause any harm
Ruby: wh-what do you mean take him out?
Stranger: I will explain everything later. For now we must get out of the Vale, who knows how long your trap will keep Vaal Hazak at Bay.
With that the stranger had walked and grabbed Ren, picking her up and hoisting her over his shoulders. He began to walk north, which was going up hill, so they had followed. As they walked, Ruby felt her scroll buzz she had taken it.out and looked seeing the date
Ruby: *we missed Y/N's birthday*
Ruby looked down in disappointment as they walked.

Yang was sitting next to Blake who was now awake. Blake was picking bones up and throwing them at a wall. Yang's scroll vibrated, she looked and saw the date
Yang: dammit
Blake looked at Yang as she slumped down against the floor.
Blake: what is it?
She asked as she picked up a curved bone, throwing it, but quickly sucked as it had come back.
Yang: we missed Y/N's birthday. We never missed a birthday for him
Blake: well, we aren't exactly in the best position ourselves are we?
Yang looked at her with a slight glare before letting out a sigh. She just looked up at the sky, surprisingly it was mostly clear, being able to see a few flying creatures up in the Coral Highlands since it was right above the Vale.
Blake: so how did you guys find Y/N anyways?
Yang: oh, well Mom told me at first, when I was younger that the storks brought him, said he was a miracle child. It wasn't until I was 14 is when they told me he came down from a meteor that crashed down into Remnant; he was still considered their miracle child since he came from a different world.
Blake: hm... And how close are you and him
Yang: oh, we're all pretty close and-
Blake: that's not what I asked, I asked how close you TWO are
Yang: o-oh
Her cheeks became a slight red as she rested her hand on her chin.
Yang: w-we're pretty close alright. I've been by his side since.the day he was born, which was only a year older than me. A-and he's just you know um
Blake: Yang... You got a crush on him don't you?
The blonde bombshell groaned as she hunger head down
Yang: I do, I mean I know it's wrong okay! He's my brother-
Blake: Step-brother
Yang: ... Right... Step-brother. Like I was saying, he's a great guy, sure he's crazy, but it's a cute crazy, and he's easily flustered and--
Blake: okay, now the real question. Have you down anything lewd with him?
Yang: w-well not exactly. . . The only "lewd" things that we did is just cuddle.
Blake: really? Well that's not bad
Yang: and I've given him head
Blake: YANG!
Yang: It's not my fault! I was drunk and he was lonely!
Blake put her hand against her head and groaned.
Blake: no one knows but me right?
Yang: of course, you're not gonna tell anyone right?
Blake: no I'm not, but I'm sure you've seen the way that he looks at Me. Goodwitch right?
Yang groaned as her eyes were trying to turn red.
Yang: I have... I don't know what to think, I guess he just doesn't like me the way I like him
Blake: You don't know that, and besides he looks at a lot of girls when he thinks we aren't looking. I think that's how a boy tell if he likes something, well my theory at least.
Yang: I... I just down know how to tell him.
Blake: well, you should when this whole thing blows over. He's bound to change back eventually, right?
Blake was about to answer, but stopped when she heard several footsteps they got up and looked, seeing Team Jnpr, Weiss, Ruby, and the Stranger running for their lives.
Yang: what's wrong!?
As she yelled, the wall broke behind the team and they watched a s a massive Orange and blue dinosaur looked around before looking at the team and stranger. It inhaled and let out a roar that make a shockwave.
Blake: what the hell
Yang: shit run!
They began to ran with the team and stranger as the Dinosaur charged them as fast as it could. They ran until the had reached a wall and could go nowhere else. They looked back seeing the dinosaur was still after them. But that is when the stranger had reached them, they didn't notice he was slower due to him carrying Ren, but he didn't stop as he began to climb the wall with ease. They looked at each other as the dinosaur had turned the corner, skidding across the ground due to it being wet with flesh. It roared as they scrambled and began to climb. It roared and charged as the were already halfway up, it bashed it's head against the wall. It roared up at them, it placed it's claw on the wall and tried to climb, but it broke apart. It just hissed at them and began to walk away
[Break]
The stranger had already reached the top before any of the others could, he groaned as he placed Ren down against some soft coral. He grabbed his weapon and placed it down, cracking his back
The Huntsman: I'm getting to old for.this crap
The others had finally climbed their way up .
Ruby: God I hate monsters
The Huntsman: We must hurry, our time is short. The change in the air is unsettling
The Huntsman got back up and began to walk, Nora picked up Ren and they followed the Huntsman
Yang: I'm sorry, but did I hear that guy right? Is he a man?
Blake: how is that possible?
The Huntsman: that is not important at the moment, our goal is to find Xeno'jiiva
Yang: who?
Pyrrha: that's what he keeps calling Y/N
Nora: he also said that Y/N is beyond our understanding.
Before they continue on, a mass of coral had fallen down in front of them. The air became course with electric as the air blasted against them.
The Huntsman: Prepare yourselves!
He said as he pulled out his weapon and got into a fighting stance. They looked up, Joan was terrified as she saw the beast that made their Bullhead fall into the Rotten Vale
