LISA
I'm currently sitting on the bed with my back pressed against the headboard as I type on my laptop. I'm currently calculating some expenses of our school and to make sure we still have enough funds for some upcoming events in the academy.
This is supposed to be Seulgi's job since I'm supposed to be the one who's only checking but she begged me to cover for it since she has a date tonight.
Psh.
I have never imagined my best friend being a romantic one. Oh well, never judge a book by its cover.
I have been sitting here for an hour now and I stopped typing to check on my watch.
It's already 10 pm.
Wow. Time flies so fast.
I removed the laptop from my lap and stood up. I suddenly got thirsty. I was wearing my specs since I have problem with reading small letters so I have to wear one.
I walked outside the bedroom and my eyes landed on a certain girl who's currently watching Frozen.
Leo is beside her sleeping while she's devouring on a whole box of pizza.
I didn't dare to disturb her and made my way to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and grab the pitcher and a glass of water.
I leaned on the counter as I drink and put the glass back to its place. I took a bottle of water and a gallon of milk before walking out of the kitchen.
I walked towards my kitten and placed it the drinks I brought on the coffee table.
"Yahh Lili, you're blocking the way, shoooo" she said angrily and reached for me using her feet to shoo me away.
I chuckled and took a step back.
"Nini, atleast drink something first. And stop shoving one whole piece inside your mouth"
"Can't help it. This is so good"
I raised an eyebrow before shaking my head and sitting beside her. I look at her and I couldn't help but smile at the sight of her mandu cheeks.
"What? Stop staring at me" she said without removing her gaze from the TV
"Why not? You look cute"
"I know. I was born cute"
I leaned forward and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She turn her head towards me and puckered her lips with her eyes still glued on the TV.
I cupped her cheeks and give her a peck and she turn her head away from me to focus more on the movie she's currently watching.
"You've seen that film for a 100th times already, Nini. You're still into that?"
"Mhmm, shhh Lili, my favorite part is about to come"
I hold her hand who's currently holding a piece of pizza and I took a bite our of it. She didn't mind though, she's too focus on the movie playing at the TV.
"I love you, Nini"
That seems to got her attention. She finally look up to me and smiled sweetly.
"I love you. Are you done yet? I need my cuddles"
"Almost, princess. You come in once that movie is done okay? It's already late"
"But what if you're still not finished? I don't want to disturb you" she pouted
"It's fine. You won't disturb anything"
She just smiled and give me a peck on the lips.
I gave her a kiss on the forehead before I stood up and walk back to our room.
I need to finish this fast.
Seulgi have been sending me pictures of her whereabouts. I rolled my eyes and gave her a reply.
She's been mocking me because she has a girlfriend while I don't.
I smirked internally.
You're damn right I don't. I have a gorgeous fiancee.
I turned my phone off and went back to work. I'm almost finish when the door opened and I look up. I saw my baby carrying our precious Leo in her arms. She closed the door behind her and let Leo go before she walked towards the bed and jumped.
I smiled at her and went back to typing. I can see from my peripheral vision that she's playing with Leo.
She was lying on her back with the cat on her stomach.
She's only wearing my oversized shirt with no pants on, again.
Seriously, what is wrong with this girl?
"Lilipoo?"
"Hmm?"
She didn't answer. She sat up and faced me. I look up to her for a second and saw her looking at me with her hands on her lap.
"What is it?"
"Nothing. Are you done yet?"
"Almost"
She didn't answer after that and was just looking at me.
I look at her once again and she was just smiling at me.
"What?" I said as I chuckled. She shake her head and scooted closer to me.
I raised my right hand to reach for her cheek and caressed it. She nuzzled her face on my hand.
"Are you sleepy?" I asked and placed some strands of hair behind her ear.
"No"
"No huh?" I said as I raised an eyebrow.
She scooted closer to me until our thigh's brush to her each other
She started poking my cheek and adjust my glasses on.
I just let her do her thing as I bopped her nose.
"Lili, you're so serious. You should smile" she placed her fingers on each side of my mouth and raised it upwards.
I just smiled but I couldn't help but be serious again. I'm really serious when it comes to numbers and I don't want to make any mistake.
"Lili, are you hungry? I'll get you some foods"
"No, it's fine, baby.I'm okay"
She leaned her head on my shoulder to look at what I'm doing.
She immediately removed herself from my shoulder and placed her head closer to my laptop to get a better view.
I had to move my head to the side because she's blocking it.
She look up to me and displayed a playful smile before raising her hand and put her fingers on the keys and started pressing each one.
I shake my head and erased it but she keeps on pressing numbers and letters.
I sighed before removing the laptop from my lap and stare at her.
"Cuddles?" She asked and I just nodded.
She excitedly jumped on my lap and pressed my cheeks together
"Wuvyu" she said and pecked on my lips multiple times before burying her head on my neck
I giggled and pulled her closer before kissing her head and caressed it
"How about you get some rest now?" I asked
"How about we get some rest now?" She asked back and kissed my neck
"Can't, Nini. I still have to finish what I'm doing"
"I'll help youuuu"
"Help huh? You can help by showering me with kisses"
She raised her head and immediately kissed me all over my face making me smile.
"Better?"
I nodded and puckered my lips. She leaned in to give me a peck but I placed a hand behind her head and pulled her closer.
She gasped but I took the opportunity to insert my tongue inside her.
We started kissing each other torridly.
My hands started roaming her body and went to cup her butt cheeks making her moan inside my mouth.
We were running out of breath so I released her mouth but I immediately dived on her neck and give it wet kisses. She tilted her head to give me access and I devoured her neck but I made sure I'm not going to leave any marks there.
I started to feel hot and I reached for the hem of her shirt and raised it but she stopped me.
"Lili"
"Hmm? What happened?"
"I'm sleepy"
"Awhh baby"
She pouted and I pulled her closer to me and hug her.
"Sorry I went to far. Come here"
I let her buried her face on my neck. I started rubbing her back and sing her a song so she could fall asleep.
I heard her yawn and I started rocking my body so she could sleep.
Once I felt her breathing became calm, I slowly leaned my back on the headboard and cupped her cheek. She was already snoring a little.
I kissed her head and reached for my laptop.
I placed it on her back and started typing. I have to finish this fast so I could place her to bed so she'd be comfortable.
I would kiss her head now and then and whispered sweet words to her and smiled.
This girl is so precious to me.
"Nini, you ready?"
"Yup! Do I look cute now?"
I turn around to look at her. My baby is wearing her P.E attire and she looks cute on it.
"A 100%"
She winked at me before jumping and turning to the mirror to fix her face.
It's Wednesday and we're all required to wear our P.E uniform.
I'm kinda worried for later because I heard we'll be having a volleyball practice today and every senior is required to participate since it'll be graded.
I'm not worried about me. I'm a pro player.
I'm worried about Jennie. She doesn't have any experience in playing any ball games. She's always stick with board games inside her room before since they don't want her to get hurt if she tried any physical activities.
I already told her to stay at home since I don't want her to be in trouble but she's too stubborn and she told me she wants to experience playing.
I didn't want to have any arguments with her so I only agreed. She did promise me she'll be careful but I'm not convinced.
"Lili, let's go! I don't want to be late today" she said and pulled my hand
"Okay, okay hang on. So eager are we now?"
She playfully rolled her eyes at me and I let her drag me towards the door. Before she could open it, I pulled her back to me and made her turn around before I capture her lips.
She was surprised at first but eventually kissed me back.
"Be careful later okay?"
"Of course. I'll be extra careful"
I kissed her head before we walked outside hand in hand.
I'm on my way towards the gym where we'll be practicing. My co-members are with me and everyone who sees us bows their head and greeted us.
Some of my members greeted them too and smiled but I showed no emotion. I only nod at them as acknowledgement and continued walking.
We reached the gym and every eyes are on us. I heard from students that they're always looking forward for practice because they'd see us.
My members loves the attention they're receiving but I still paid no attention.
In fact, I'm a little disappointed because they should be looking forward into making their grades high but they only attend practice to drool and flirt. I don't think their parents are proud.
I noticed that some sections are already here except Jennie's.
I sat on a bench and waited for her. What's taking them so long?
We heard a whistle and I saw coach Park with the ball in his hand.
"Alright kids listen up! Since the star players are already here, how about we have a little warm up game eh? 12-A and 12-B will play first. No scores, and this is not graded. Let's just play for fun"
I sighed and I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Lis, let's go. They want us to play first" Seulgi told me I nodded
I stood up and do a little stretching and I heard some giggled behind me.
I turned around and saw some students from lower grades are here.
Huh? Don't they have classes?
"Let's kick some ass" Seulgi said and I glared at her
"Watch your words, bear. Our juniors are here"
"Pfft whatever"
"You're a little energized, got laid last night?" I teased her
She suddenly smirked and I heard some squeals
"Oh my God, the VP smirked"
"She looks so hot"
"I think I'm wet"
"Guess" she challenged.
I only shook my head since the answer is obvious.
The door suddenly opened and more students came in. I realized it was Jennie's section already but I still see no sight of her.
Just where is that dumpling?
We started warming up and I can already see the smirks of the other team.
"Look at them, it's not even graded but they look so determine to defeat us" Baekhyun said as he look at them coldly
"They obviously wants us to be embarrassed in front of everyone" Karina replied
"Yeah as if they can defeat us. Even if this is only for fun, I'll make sure they'll cry at the end" Winter said and she and Karina started whispering about something.
Even though we're the councils and are full of responsibilities, we're still the top of our class and in everything.
Coach told us that the game will start in 10 minutes so we still have time to warm up.
I'm still a little off because my fiancee is still nowhere in sight.
"Hey Manoban, catch"
A ball suddenly landed towards me but I immediately catched it using my right hand.
I clenched my jaw and saw Jeon Jungkook.
This guy is such a pain in the ass but I'm doing my best to be calm with him especially since his sister is a close friend of mine.
"Kookie" I heard her sister warned him behind me.
He just raised both of his hands as if he's surrendering and walked back to his friends who's now laughing
"I'm sorry about that, Lis"
"It's okay"
I gave the ball to Seulgi and walked back to my chair. I raised my foot so I could tie my shoe laces
I ignored the juniors who are trying to get my attention in front of me.
10 minutes passed and I didn't even saw my girl. Coach Park called us and we immediately proceeded into playing.
My team is composed of me, Seulgi, Baekhyun, Karina, Hanbin, and D.O
12-B is composed of Jungkook, Jihyo, Jin, Ningning, Suga, and Kim Taehyung.
Kim Taehyung.
I gritted my teeth when I saw him.
There's no problem with him unlike his trouble making-friends. He's actually a good students and also top of his class and he's a role model.
I have no problems with him before but now I'm starting to dislike him.
He's stealing something dear to me.
D.O was the first one to serve the ball. I kept my eyes on Taehyung because I couldn't get rid of this weird feeling inside me.
Just what is this?
"Lisa, watch out!"
I saw the ball flying towards me but it didn't hit me. It hit the ground.
The other team cheered and I finally came back to my senses.
"Lisa, what happened? Why didn't you catch it?" They asked me but I only shake my head
"I'm sorry I got distracted"
The game continued and my mind drifted to Jennie. She's still nowhere to be found and I kept messing the game.
It's already 8-4
"Yahh Lisa, focus okay? This may not be graded but this is war" Karina told me
"Ohhhh I think the president is getting rusty" I heard Jungkook mocked and I look at him coldly.
Taehyung came and warned him.
It was my turn to serve when the door opened once again.
My eyes finally landed on a pair for cat like eyes. I did my best to prevent myself from smiling when I saw her.
She was with her three friends and they apologized to coach Park before they took their seats.
She look at me and she seems surprised when she saw me playing. Oh right, she doesn't know.
I suddenly felt something inside me.
The way she looks at me made me want to show her something.
I wanted to show off.
When I heard the whistle, immediately served the ball and I'm starting to feel energized.
Everyone started cheering for their team but it's mostly our names that they are chanting.
When the ball fly towards us, I immediately jumped to hit it.
The ball almost hit Jungkook and I prayed that it did.
Oh well, atleast we scored.
The students started screaming.
I look at Jennie and she was looking at me proudly.
I smirked and was determined to win this game.
Everytime I score, I would look at her so see if she's proud of me. It boosts my energy whenever I see her cheering for us.
We're now leading and I can see the frustration on the other team.
I smirked at Jungkook and he glared at me.
Now who's the rusty one?
Now it's Seulgi's turn to serve.
I look at Jennie once again and saw her looking for something inside her bag.
I didn't let my guards down and prepared to block the ball.
Jihyo managed to catch it and Jin tried to do a spike but me and Baekhyun blocked it.
It almost landed on the ground but Ningning got it.
She basically slid her body on the floor and she looked cool doing that.
The game became intense and no one cared if this is graded or not
Both teams are determined to win.
I saw Suga giving Taehyung a glance and I already know what they're planning.
I used my hands behind me to signal my team for the upcoming spike.
Taehyung jumped high but it was too soon.
Too soon.
He did hit the ball but it didn't reached the net.
My eyes widen when the ball suddenly flew to a direction and his team tried to catch it but it was too late.
A loud thud was heard and we froze on our spot especially me.
I was back to my senses when I heard a girl shouting.
"Oh my God, Jennie!"
