Arjun
The day passed in a blink and Divya was going back to her home now.. ofcourse even I have to go back but I wanna have a talk with her now and that's final..!
"Divya", I called her
"Yeah", she looked at me
"Mom dad where missing you, so they wanted you to stay home for a day.. could you come with me for today? I'll drop you back to your house tomorrow", I said
She seems to think and I know she wouldn't say a no when it's for mom dad..
"Okay, I'll return tomorrow evening then", she said
"Ok as you wish, now shall we go?", I asked
She nodded and we both headed towards our house..
"Divi, you here", mom smiled in happiness
"Yeah, Arjun said you where missing me so I came", Divya smiled
"Yeah I'm, but I haven't..", mom was saying while I signalled her
She looked at me and I pleaded her through my eyes.. she probably understood and looked at Divya.
"Yeah, good that you came.. come", mom took her inside
They sat back and soon even dad joined them.. I still remember how we four used to often used to have cool family talk whenever we come here.
Now that after Divya left me, I no longer stay in our house and shifted back with mom dad only.
"I'm also here", I said sitting next to them
"You are always here Arjun", mom smiled sadly
I know what she meant.. mom always wanted a daughter as she felt she could always share her happiness and problems any time.. but even after I was born she loved me the same!!
But when Divya came to our house, unknowingly mom got really attached to her that they speak almost alternate days on calls and often visit also.
Dad although not as much as mom, I know he loved Divya equally like me and she was not less than a daughter to both of them.
I looked at Divya who was looking elsewhere with a blank expression.. she was always a sensitive person and I don't know how she coped up with our seperation!!
"Divya", I called and she looked at me
"I need to have a talk with you.. come", I said holding her hand
She was gonna say something but stayed quite instead. I took her to my room and closed the door.
"What was that?", She asked frowning
"We have to talk", I said
"You need not drag me like that", she said
"You are my wife Divi", I said
"Was, I was your wife Arjun", she corrected me
Honestly, it hurts!! Hurts very bad!
"Fine.. please listen to me", I requested
She nodded and I made her sit on the bed.
"Why did you leave me Divi?", I asked
"Shutup Arjun, it's you who left me.. just coz I left the house doesn't mean I left you", she shouted
Probably the first time she's shouting.. her anger levels are very low, even if she's angry she never actually shout such!
"I din't Divi, I never left you.. you said you din't like what happened back then", I said
"Ofcourse I dint like Arjun, someone just comes raising a finger on me and you stay all quite.. I hated it, but that doesn't make me leave you Arjun", she cried
"But that's what you said Divi, you said you don't want me anymore.. you sent the divorce papers home", I shouted back this time
"Really Arjun? You are blaming me now, like seriously? Yes I sent the divorce papers coz I received it from you.. you told me yourself that you don't love me anymore, you said you wanted a divorce from me, and you sent it to me.. what will I do then? I signed and sent you back", she yelled
"What the fuck Divi, I never told anything such.. I loved you then and I still love you", I said holding her shoulders
"You are lying Arjun, you said it all yourself.. I can never forget all that", she cried hard
"Divi, ok please don't cry", I hugged her
"You don't love me Arjun?", She asked sniffing
"I do baby, I love you so much.. my love for you is the same since the first day I saw you.. it only kept increasing but never faded baby", I said hugging her
"But you said you don't love me that time", she looked at me
"I din't baby, I couldn't even speak to you that day.. after what happened I was getting continues calls from my investors and I drifted to sleep there only unknowingly.. I thought I'll talk to you the next day peacefully but couldn't find you morning..
That's when I found the letter you gave me, and before I could even process what just happened you called me saying you sent me the divorce papers", I said what I knew
"Letter? What letter? I haven't written any letter to you Arjun", she said
"You din't? But I'm sure it's your handwriting.. I can't be mistaken Divi", I said
"But I din't write any Arjun, I went to my friend's home that day coz I.. I don't know, I couldn't stay there when I was feeling suffocated.. and the same night you called me saying you don't.. you don't love me anymore and you want a.. divorce..
I thought you where joking but you where dead.. serious, and the next morning I received divorce.. papers to my home and I din't had another option Arjun, I just signed it and sent it back to you", she cried in my arms
"But Divi, I din't call you at all", I said
"Don't tell me I have gone mad and I stated imagining things Arjun.. we spoke for around fifteen minutes and you can't say you haven't called me", she yelled
"Ok calm down Divi, here have some water" I gave her the glass
She took and drank in a go and I cupped her face wiping her tears!

I don't even know what's happening now. I still remember our conversation that night and he says he never called me?
I sent him divorce coz he asked me to.. and he says I gave him some letter and he didn't have any idea about all this?
"What even happened Arjun?", I whispered
"I don't know Divi, I want to listen to your point of view also.. there's something we both are missing out" he said
"Yeah, it's confusing", I said slowly
"Divi don't worry, I'm there for you ok? We'll find out what actually happened but not now", he said
"Not now?", I asked
"We will talk tomorrow baby, you are already tired and looks exhausted", he said
"But I wanna know now Arjun", I said
"Divi please, you need rest.. I don't wanna stress you out all at once. I'm sure you already are, so sleep for now", he said softly
"But", I was saying and he interrepted
"Trust me Divi, we will talk tomorrow.. we'll clear everything soon ok? Now sleep", he said
"Hmm.. can I.. can I sleep here?", I asked slowly
"It's your house, it's your room, your bed Divi.. you don't have to ask", he caressed my cheek
I nodded passing a small smile lying on the bed.. I looked at him who kept looking at me.
I kept my hand on the other side of the bed and signalled him to come over.. he nodded passing a small smile and lied next to me.
"I'm sorry Arjun", I whispered looking down
"No Divi, don't be.. it's was not your fault", he said holding my hand
"I shouldn't have pushed you away Arjun, I never thought there would be something like this which we don't know.. I din't wanted to face you Arjun, I.. I just couldn't", I coughed
"Divi calm down, it's fine.. please don't stress yourself", he hugged me
"I love you Arjun.. I can't stay without you", I cried hard
"Shh Divi, let's talk tomorrow.. we'll clear everything ok? Don't cry, you know it pricks me to see you like this", he said rubbing my back
"You love me?", I asked sniffing
"I love you Divi, just keep this one thing in mind.. don't bother anything else, I'll take care ok?", He cupped my face
"Don't leave me again", I hid in the crook of his neck
"Never", he cooed me
"Sleep", he took me more close
Arjun kept rubbing my back and in a while I stopped crying and drifted to sleep in his arms.
Next morning, I wokeup rubbing my eyes and tapped my hand on the other side of the bed.. I couldn't feel him and quickly opened my eyes and he wasn't by my side.
"Arjun", I whispered getting up from the bed
I looked around and I got panicked not finding him in the room. I can't afford to loose him again, he loves me and I can't stay away from him.
"Arjun", I kept calling him and moved towards the door while I hit something hard
I looked up and found him standing infront of me and unable to control I hugged him tight sobbing in his arms.
"Divi, what happened?", He asked caressing my hair
I love it when he caresses my hair!!
"I.. I was scared Arjun.. I.. can't loose you again.. I din't.. find you here and I.. I got scared that I may.. loose you again", I cried hard hunging on him
"Divi, calm down.. I'm right here ok? I'm here with you always.. don't be scared, I'm here only", he said hugging me tight
I slowly backed off and looked into his eyes..
"Sorry, I guess I over reacted", I said taking a step back
"No, I understand what you are feeling now.. I'm here only ok? Go freshen up and come, we'll have breakfast together", he said
I nodded and looked for my clothes.. thankfully there where some decent clothes left since then so picking one I went down getting ready.
"Good Morning Divi", maa smiled
"Good Morning maa", I smiled back
"Come sit, breakfast is ready", she said and I moved forward
"Sorry, I couldn't help you", I smiled sheepishly
"That's ok Divi.. Arjun will anyhow not let you cook right", maa smiled
Yeah, Arjun never allowed me to cook coz I don't know how to cook and he says he loves to cook for me always!
"I know how to cook maa.. I had to survive", I smiled weakly
She looked at me and I know I unknowingly made the environment disappointed.. I looked at Arjun and see his expressions change..
"Ahh.. shall we eat? Where's papa?", I asked diverting the topic
Time skipped so fast and I was at my house as mom dad wanted to spend time with me.. all the day I couldn't get time to talk to Arjun again and I'm getting impatient to know what actually happened that day.
How can I ignore the fact that what I know is something he never knew and what he knows is again unknown to me.
Why is my life this confusing god? All I wanted was a happy and tension free life and seems like I have everything other than happiness now.
"What happened?", I heard a voice
I looked aside and saw Nidhi Di..
"Ahh, Di.. when did you come?", I asked
"Mom informed you are her so siddhu and me came to see you", she smiled
I just smiled and stayed quite.
"What's wrong Divi?', she asked placing her hand on my shoulder
"Di", I whispered before breaking down in tears
"Hey Divi, is everything alright?", She asked taking me in a hug
"Nothing is right Di.. everything feels so wrong", I cried in her arms
"What happened Divi?", She asked
I said her everything about mine and Arjun's conversation last night.. no one knows the reason for our seperation and Di was the first one with whom I'm even sharing even a bit of it.
"Although I don't know what actually happened from either point of view.. this isn't sounding as simple as it looks Divi.. how can Arjun not know about it when you are saying you spoke to him on call? And why would he get a letter with your handwriting if you haven't written any?", She asked
"I don't know Di.. I don't know what to do", I cried
"Calm down Divi, you should talk to him.. don't get emotional, I know it's tough what you faced and what's coming up also but stay strong Divi", she said and I nodded
"Okay, I'll call Arjun here only.. talk and clear out things the soonest", she added
Yeah, it has to be cleared today.. I don't wanna stay in dark anymore!
