Divya
I took a cab going to my home.. I never actually came to Mumbai after what happened, only my parents and Bhai or Anu had come at times for me.. and once even Arjun's parents had come for me..
But not once I felt to come back, I din't wanna face him again. I somehow din't have that courage.
"Divi", mom whispered seeing me near the door
"Mom", I hugged her
"How are you Divi?", She asked caressing my cheek
"I'm good mom, how are you and dad?", I asked
"We are good Divi", dad said coming near
I smiled and hugged him as well.. I missed this house, well that house also!
"Ok go and freshen up, Anu asked you to come early na.. go there for lunch", mom said
I nodded and went to my room, it looked the same.. I freshen up quickly and got into a simple suit as I really din't have any mood to get ready much.
I bid bye to my parents and took a cab to Anu's house.. calm down Divi, you gotta do it.. I'm sure he's here only by now.
I was walking straight while I bumped into someone, I frowned rubbing my nose and looked up while my eyes widen and jaw dropped looking at him..
Arjun!
He looked at me and I see his eyes watery, I realized by then even my tears where flowing down which I din't wanted, atleast infront of him.
"Divi", he whispered hugging me
Did he just hug me? Why? Isn't he the one who was responsible for all this? Then why is he behaving as if he missed me all this time?
I wanted to push him away and lash out all my anger and pain on him but somehow involuntarily my arms reached his back feeling his touch.
"Arjun", escaped my lips
He pulled me more into him and I felt my shoulder wet, he's crying?
I pulled back slowly and saw his eyes showing pain, is he regretting what happened by chance?
I remembered everything happened that I quickly took a step back composing myself.. he was hurt by my action but I was hurt with him since a very long time now.
I took my bag and went away not looking at him again..
I'm seeing him after more than an year now, I wish I could just kiss him right there and never leave being in his arms again.. but seems like this is what was written in our fate!
"Divi", I heard Anu scream
I quickly wiped away my tears and tried to look normal and hugged Anu.. afterall I'm meeting her after long and I really missed her as well..
"Damn, Divi you gained weight", she said looking at me
Well, that's true.. I did gain weight due to my irregular eating habits these days.. I should probably try loosing it but I'm least bothered even to think of my body or beauty now.
"That's coz I din't want everyone to look at me instead of you during your marriage.. you know I love you right?", I tried to lighten my mood
"Shutup, although it's true.. but still you look beautiful as always", she laughed
"Ok come, Aarav is also waiting for you", Anu said taking me inside
"Hey Divi", Aarav hugged me
"How are you?", I asked backing off
"Like you see, stuck with your bestie", he laughed
"Shutup Aarav", Anu glared
"Anyways, you must be tired today right.. you will take rest?", Aarav asked
"Yeah but that's ok, I can spent with you all.. by the way any plans today?", I asked
"Not any specific, it's been long I met you and Arjun as well.. he's being busy as well so I just thought to spend time together", Anu said
Arjun! That's the reason I said I wanna spent time with them now.. I was indeed tired but I badly wanted to have him infront of my eyes..
Although I know he isn't mine now, the fact that we had a beautiful past doesn't leave my heart and soul.
I just wanted to see him, see him so much that even I after I leave after Anu's marriage he'll be still infront of my eyes.
I just nodded to Anu and she smiled at me.. no one knows why we got seperated and I din't know what to tell them also so I let it be the same.
I wonder why haven't Arjun told any to any of these..
"Ahh Divi, can you please call Arjun down? He must be in his room", Aarav asked
"Umm, I just saw him near the entrance", I said slowly
"You met him already?", Anu asked
"Yeah", I said not looking at them
"Okay, anyhow.. he must be in room now, just check and if he isn't then come back.. and yeah, also Siddardh Bhai and Nidhi Di are inside.. Bhai has some work itseems", Aarav said
"Yeah I'll meet Bhai once, and then call Arjun?", I asked
He nodded and I left the place. I went up to Bhai's room and saw Bhai working on his lap while Nidhi Di was feeding him along.. I smiled looking at them..
Involuntarily my thoughts drifted back to our happy times..
"Arjun please eat little atleast", I asked
"You eat Divi, I'm coming in a while.. just a little work more, rest I'll do after eating ok?", He asked still looking at his laptop
I stayed quite sitting on the bed scrolling my phone.. if he isn't eating then I'm not eating either.
It's not like I wait for him everyday, if he's at the office and caught with some work he always inform me about it so I have my dinner on time.. but when he's home how can I eat alone? I'll wait ofcourse.
He looked at me and sighed seeing me not going down to eat.. he quickly closed his laptop and came near me picking me in his arms.
I still stayed quite while I was feeling something something with his touch on my waist.. he held it tight ofcourse such that I shouldn't fall but his touch gives me all new vibes each time.
He made me sit on the chair near the dining and went to the kitchen, he came back with two plates and served them sitting next to me.
He took a morsel and forwarded towards me and my heart was already overwhelming.
"I'm still angry", I said eating from his hand
"Not an issue, you can stay", he smirked
"That's bad", I said feeding him
"It's ok, angry Divya isn't that bad actually", he smiled
"But workaholic Arjun is actually bad", I glared
"You know I'm not such a workaholic also", he pouted
"I know you ar'nt, even being the CEO you still work thinking of me and our family.. ofcourse I know you don't work overtime and come home early also, but all I'm saying is even when you have more work to do or anything important also eat and then continue doing it.. you shouldn't starve for all this", I said it out
"Ok I'm sorry, I'll never neglect food for my work ok? I'll always eat on time and only then will get back to work.. now don't be angry", he said
"Why so? Weren't you the one who said angry Divya isn't that bad.. good then, let me be angry only in that case", I said feeding him again
"Well that's true though, but you know angry Divya doesn't let me touch her.. how should I have my daily dose of romance if this is the case?", He whispered huskily
Damn, calm down Divi.. don't forget that you are acting to be angry so be angry only!!
"Um, you have work Arjun", I said slowly
"Yes I do have, but I won't do it the whole night right? Ofcourse the nights are for you, for us", he whispered
"Gosh no, I'm on my periods", I shouted annoyed now
"Divya oh my god, you look so cute when you are annoyed", he laughed hard
I glared at him and he stopped laughing looking at me.
"Ok sorry again, I know you have your periods now.. I was just kidding to see your reaction.. now don't be angry and don't be annoyed also baby", he said
"I'm not angry", I said
"You are pissed", he stated
"Give me a kiss, I'll be fine", I said not looking at him
"Demanding a kiss like always huh?", He smirked
I was gonna answer while he smashed his lips on mine moving his lips in sync with mine.. I apparently learnt to kiss over the time but still never actually take the lead and kiss him.. I always ask him to kiss me and he does it without wasting even a second.
All he says is he loves my lips over his!!
He was sucking my upper lip while I got hold of his lower lip, I could feel my lip bleeding tasting the blood but still neither of us backed off until we felt the short of breath.
"I love you Jaan", he whispered kissing my forehead
"I love you Divya's Arjun", I said and he smiled when I addressed him as mine
Coz he is mine! Then, now and forever!!
He was probably never mine.. may be then, but not now atleast.
I came back from my memory lane and wiping my tears and controlling my emotions I stepped in and both of them looked at me.
"Chutki", Bhai said coming to me
He hugged me tight and I smiled meeting him after long.
"How are you?", He asked
"I'm fine Bhai, how are you both?", I asked looking at Di
"We are good Divi, just missed you", Nidhi Di hugged me
"You seem to become a little fat", Bhai said looking at me
"Don't Bhai, I know I did.. Anu was also saying the same", I said
"And how? I mean even if you eat so much chocolates or any sweets like for a week continues also you would still look the same", Bhai asked and I chuckled
"Bhai that's coz I was having some physical activity daily, I used to walk at times even in the college.. now all I do is go to office, come back, eat and sleep late at times.. so due to my irregular eating and sleeping habits this happened", I pouted
"Ok ok I get it, you should probably work out.. what say?", Bhai asked
"Not nessasarily, I'm good this way.. I don't regret", I laughed
"Fine as you say then, ok come let's go down.. you both keep going and I'll come in five.. almost done with work", Bhai said
"Ok, but come soon Sidhu", Nidhi di said
We both moved down while I remembered, Arjun!
"Ahh di, you go down I'll just join you guys", I said and she nodded
I went towards Arjun's room, I was fidgeting with my fingers I knocked the door.. when he isn't opening I slowly pushed the door getting inside.
I saw in the whole room and he wasn't there.. may be in the washroom?
I moved forward trying to open the door but suddenly the door opened such that I startled and loosing balance I fell forward.
I wasn't on the floor, I slowly opened my eyes and saw Arjun looking into my eyes.
I realized I fell on him and he was on the floor.
His hands where wrapped around my waist while I was holding by his shoulders.
I wish I could freeze this moment, in his arms, him looking into my eyes.. but..!
I realised our positions coming out of my sorrow thoughts, I tried getting up and keeping my hands on either of his sides I stood there all embarrassed.
If it was when we where together I'm sure this would have turned into something more romantic but today, it was indeed embarrassed.
He too got up and stood next to me.
"Aarav was calling you down.. they all are waiting there", I said
"Yeah, come", he said walking along with me
God, make sure these fourteen days I don't have to face anything more horrible!!
