CHAPTER 13
"GOOD MORNING, ma'am Lexien." Nakangiting bati ng lady guard kay Lexien na kararating at kakapasok lang sa building.
"Good morning din, po ate." Saad ni Lexien pabalik dito.
Ngumiti ang lady guard sa kanya bago umalis at may kukunin daw ito. Siya naman ay pumasok na saka naglakad sa hallway ng building. Nagtaka siya dahil nakita niya ang ibang co-employee niya na nag-eempake ng gamit.
"What's the matter? Why are you packing up?" Takang tanong ni Lexien sa kanila.
The woman wearing a red skirt, looked at angrily. " It's all your fault! You did this to us!"
Lexien frowned at them. " Huh? I didn't do anything-"
"-Liar!" The woman in the middle aged of 40 shouted at her. " We're doing nothing but a dutiful employee but because of you, we're fired! You fucking bitch! You should be the one who will be fired not us! You, stupid! Whore! Slut! Harlot! Prostitute! Hooker! Trollop!"
Hindi nagpaapekto si Lexien sa mga narinig. People and their judgmental mouth, she doesn't care about it.
"Honestly, I didn't do anything. Like what I said, wala akong ginawang masama sa inyo kaya bakit mo - niyo ako inaaway?" Mahinahong saad ni Lexien sa kanila.
The woman looked at her flatly. " Really? Playing innocent, huh? Your such a liar! A person like you should be gone and extinct! You fucking bitch!"
"What the hell did you just say, Mrs.Reyes?"
Napatigil ang lahat saka tumingin sa entrance na kung saan kakapasok lang ni Klane na may dala pang bulaklak at iba pa.
Kapagkuwan ay tumigil si Klane sa harapan nila saka sila tiningnan isa-isa.
Lumapit si Klane sa kanya at sinuri ang mukha niya at katawan.
" Are you okay, love?" Klane asked her with his voice worryingly.
Lexien smile a little bit and slightly nodded her head. " Yeah, I'm okay. It's just she just suspect me as the person who just make them fired. I mean ... Hindi ko naman ginawa iyon diba, boss? I'm absent for almost four days kaya hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit nalang sila gano'n sa'kin."
"Which of them?" Tanong ni Klane habang tinitingnan ng masama ang dalawang babaeng namumutla sa harapan nila.
Hindi nagsalita si Lexien.
"Love, I said ... Which of them?" Nagtagis ang bagang ni Klane. " Did they hurt you? Physically? Emotionally?"
Lexien didn't bother to speak about. She was just there, standing beside her boss - Klane, while looking at the two woman paling in fear and nervousness.
Klane sighed and looked at everyone. Tinaasan niya ng kilay ang mga ito.
"You!" Turo niya sa isang lalaki.
"Y-yes s-sir?" The man stammered in nervousness.
"You saw everything, right? Tell me ... What happened between them?" Authority filled in Klane's voice.
The man nodded and began to talk. After it, Klane closed his eyes in annoyance and wrath.
"You really tell that fucking words to my woman!?" Klane said angrily to the two woman. " Answer me, you piece of shit!"
The woman who told Lexien a liar first spoke. " S-sir, I d-didn't m-mean t-that s-sir. I- I'm just b-blinded w-with m-my a-anger, s-sir."
Akmang susugurin sana ni Klane ito ng mabilis na yumakap si Lexien sa likuran nito, to stopped him.
"Don't hurt them, they didn't really mean it. Let them go." Mahinhing wika ni Lexien.
"But love, they said hurtful words to you. I don't want them-"
"It's okay. " Putol ni Lexien sa sasabihin ni Klane. " I'm not hurt just by it."
"You sure?"
"Yep, " Lexien answered.
Klane sighed and looked at the two woman. " Leave now before I change my mind."
The two woman hurriedly left them. While, Klane on the other hand, looked at his people.
"Everyone, I have my announcement to make. I don't want to repeat it so listened carefully."
"This girl," turo niya kay Lexien " is my girlfriend. She's my long time girlfriend, actually. I just want to announce that, hurt her emotionally or physically, there will be hell to pay. Don't you dare say or do something to her, or else you will pay deadly. I'm just stating this for you all not be confused about my connection with her. That's all, you can back to work now." Nagsitanguan ang mga empleyado niya saka bumalik sa kanyang kanyang trabaho.
"Lexien, let's go." Wika ni Klane dito.
Lexien nodded and followed him. Sumakay sila sa elevator at pagkatapos, pumasok na sila sa opisina nila.
"Ahm...for you." Napatingin si Lexien sa ibinigay ni Klane sa kanya.
It's a bouquet of flowers, rose flowers to be exact, colored red and pink. May chocolate then itong dala.
" Is this the way how you court me?" Lexien asked Klane.
Napakamot ng batok si Klane saka naiilang na tumingin sa kanya.
" Ahm..." Klane looked away at Lexien, "... Based on the article I read about how to court a girl, giving a flowers and giving chocolates is one way to court a girl. "
Tumaas ang kilay ni Lexien sa narinig. " So, you've been reading articles about courting, huh?"
Klane cheeks reddened. " Ahm ... It's a new thing to me. It's my first time to do this."
Natawa si Lexien dahil sa sagot ni Klane. Totoo kasi, ito ang unang beses na niligawan siya ni Klane. Dati kasi, naging sila ng matapos silang mag-kaaminan sa isa't isa. Walang ligawan ang nangyari.
"Don't laugh!" Klane said while pouting. Kapagkuwan ay tinakpan nito ang sariling mukha gamit ang dalawang kamay. " Fuck! I'm shy! I think ... I'm blushing."
Lexien laughed and tease him. " You think? E sa nagbublush ka na nga, e."
Klane just looked at her dryly. " Hmp...you making me more embarrassed."
Napailing nalang si Lexien."Thank you. I appreciate this." Aniya saka inamoy-amoy ang mga bulaklak.
' Hmm...so fragrant! '
Sigurado siyang bagong pitas pa lamang ang mga ito.
"I'm glad that you like it." Wika ni Klane na siyang ipinagtaka niya.
"What do you mean?"
Klane smile as he stare at the flowers. " I, myself pick that flowers from my garden. And also, I arrange it properly to make it a beautiful bouquet."
Napakurap-kurap si Lexien sa narinig saka hindi makapaniwalang tumingin kay Klane. " You made this? Really?"
"Yep."
Napa- 'o' shape nalang ang bibig ni Lexien saka inilagay sa gilid mesa niya ang bulaklak.
" Your creative, huh? Ang dami mo palang talent."
Klane has a naughty smile on his lips. " Hindi lang naman niyan ang kaya kong gawin, e. I can do other things so..."
Napataas ng kilay si Lexien sa narinig. " Please, if your going to say something bold and nude, I pass."
Klane sneered, " I'm not done talking yet. Let me say it first-"
"-let's start working, shall we?"
Klane sighed and nodded, " okay. If my girl say so."
NASA KALAGITNAAN NG pagdadrawing si Lexien when her phone rang. Tiningnan niya ito at nakita niyang si Daisy ang tumatawag.
She pick up her phone and answered her. " Hello, Daisy?"
"Lexien! Huhuhu ... I'm sorry it's a-all my f-fault."
Lexien frowned, " w-why are you s-saying sorry to me?"
Daisy on the other line, cried as she can. " I-i w-went t-to m-my s-school t-to v-visit t-the twins."
Agad na kinabahan si Lexien sa sasabihin ni Daisy. "Daisy, what the hell happened!?" She asked her shoutingly. Dahil sa sigaw niya, napatingin sa direksiyon niya si Klane na naka kunot-noo.
" I asked them to have a lunch with my. They say, yes then we went to the nearest restaurant from the school. Pabalik ma sana kami sa school ng ... huhuhuhu ... May tumigil na v-van sa likuran namin at k-kinuha ang kambal."
"Whaatttt!?"
"Huhuhuhu ... I'm sorry, it's all my fault. Dahil sa'kin nakidnap ang kamba. Huhuhu ... I'm sorry, Lexien."
Lexien stood up. Wala siyang pakialam kung hindi niya matapos ang trabaho niya. Hell, her kids is more important than anything!
"Where are you going?" Napatingin siya kay Klane ng magtanong ito.
"To Daisy. She needs me." Sagot niya saka tiningnan ang cellphone kung naroon pa ba ang tawag.
"Daisy, wait me there. We will gonna solve this problem. Don't blame yourself. I'll be there in any minute."
Daisy on the other line, stopped crying and nodded. " Okay, I wait you here."
Pinatay niya ang tawag saka tumingin uli kay Klane.
"Please ... Something came up. Daisy really needs me there." Of course, hindi niya sinabi nito ang tunay na dahilan.
Klane nodded and stood up. " Ihahatid kita."
Wala na ibang ginawa si Lexien kundi ang tumango saka sumunod kay Klane na papalabas na sa opisina.
Lexien calmed herself as she pray.
' God, please save my Laxus and Lexie. '
KLANE WAS CONFUSED while he drive Lexien to Daisy's school. Halata kasi sa mukha nito ang pag-aalala at ang 'di mapakali.
" Can you drive faster? Please?" Lexien said to him.
He nodded and drive much faster than was. Ganon pa rin, hindi niya maiwasan ang mag-isip dahil kay Lexien. Well, he understand about it because Lexien really treasure her friends, like he is. Kaya siguro ganon ito nag-aalala para sa kaibigan.
When they reach there, Lexien immediately went out from the car.
"Mauna na 'ko-" Hindi na natuloy ang sasabihin ni Lexien dahil tumunog ang cellphone niya.
He got his phone from his pocket and press the answer button. " I just take this call."
Tumango si Lexien sa kanya saka nagpaalam ng mahina na mauuna na siya.
When Lexien get out from his sight, saka lang siya nagsalita sa tumawag sa kanya na kanina pa niya sinagot.
"Hello?"
"Bud, I received an email from a government. They need help from us to solve this kidnapping crime that is happening in our community right now. So, what's your decision?" It's was Sebastian who spoke up.
Klane shrugged , " we will help them in one condition. Tell to the government that, we will use their people to fight with us."
"Okay, bud. I will send them per your request."
"Good, I'll be coming in our headquarters to plan our action. Also, tell to them that we need their people in hour so. Got it?"
"Got it, bud. See you later there. I'll be there in a minute."
Pinatay niya ang tawag saka nagmamadaling sumakay sa kotse niya.
He texted Lexien to inform her that he can't be with her because of an emergency.

' I CAN'T BE WITH YOU, LOVE. SOMETHING CAME UP. IT'S AN EMERGENCY. I'LL BE KICKING SOME ASS, THERE. I NEED TO BE THERE. HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND. I LOVE YOU😘. '
Yes - may kissing emoji siyang sinama sa text message niya. Ilang segundo siyang naghintay bago nag text pabalik si Lexien sa kanya.

' IT'S OKAY. TAKE CARE OUT THERE. BE SAFE!❤️ '
Kumunot ang noo niya dahil sa nakitang reply sa kanya ni Lexien.
TO: LEXIEN MY LOVES 😘🥰💖
' WHERE'S MY I LOVE YOU TOO, LOVE?😟 WALA MAN LANG BANG GOODLUCK KISSING EMOJI DIYAN?🥺 '
Minutes passed before Lexien texted him back.
FROM: LEXIEN MY LOVES 😘🥰💖
' ANONG ' I LOVE YOU TOO ' ANG SINASABI MO? MANLILIGAW KA PA LANG, OI!😒 HUWAG KANG ATAT!🙂. SIGE NA, I'LL BE VERY BUSY NOW. AND ABOUT YOUR GOODLUCK KISSING EMOJI DIYAN, KISS-KISS-SIN MO NA LANG YANG LABI MO SA PADER, AYUN MAY GOODLUCK KISS KA NA😒. BYE! '
Napailing nalang si Klane sa nabasa niya saka ibinalik sa bulsa ang cellphone.
With that, he starts the engine of his car and drove faster to their headquarters.
When he got there, he immediately went out from his car and entered from the back door.
Nakita niyang naroon na ang iba niyang kaibigan naghahanda sa gagawin nila.
"Yow..." Bati niya sa mga ito.
"Bud, your here. " Saad ni Benedix habang nililinis nito ang kutsilyong dala.
"Yeah, I'm here. " Aniya saka kumuha ng mga gamit na kakailanganin niya.
"So, what's our plan?" Blue asked him.
"Simple..." Klane smirked, " don't die, kick some ass' and save the victims."
Mattheus looked at Klane flatly. " Nice plan, bud." Batid sa boses nito ang pagkasarkismo. " As always, tsk."
Klane just shrugged and search for Sebastian.
" Where's Sebastian?" Tanong niya ng makitang wala pa ito.
"I heard my name, my darlings." Someone shouted at the front door and yes - it was Sebastian.
Ngumiti ito sa kanila saka kumuha ng ilang baril. " Sorry for being late, my darlings. Inasikaso ko pa yung mga taong sasama sa'tin. And, guess what ... They ready! Magkita-kita nalang daw tayo sa lugar."
"Good, now let's go." Saad ni Klane saka unang naglakad papalabas ng pinto. Sumunod naman sa kanya ang mga kaibigan niya.
