She and Rafael hugged, they knew each other and were really good friends, which was a surprise for me.
''You two cheats!''
I exclaimed indignantly.
''I told you, mommy, he is a bad person.''
Allen reminded me once more scoffing.
''ALLEN KAPPA, MY YOUNG MASTER. COME TO AUNT SHEILA.''
I let him down and he stood tall as he was already too tall for his age.
His stare was cold, rigid, and dull.
Just like his father's.
Sheila couldn't hold her laugh anymore.
She hugged the little boy tightly.
''Well, I guess it really is aunty Sheila then.'',
''Oh for the love of God Allen.''
Rafael exclaimed dumbfounded once more, while I tried to hold on to my laughter.
''What? Am I too clever for you?''
Allen glared at him.
He put his head on my shoulder defeated.
''Deserved it.''
I blurted laughing and hugged him to comfort him.
Sheila played with Allen.
''This is really Beth!''
Steven came up to me and I hugged him,
''Yes, it's me. You look, handsome and all-mighty as always Steven.''
we laughed once more,
Allen stood up once more, eyeing him like a hunter a prey, he was ready to jump at him.
Damian had given the exact look at Rafael a moment ago when I hugged him.
''Hey, Allen. Don't you dare pull any tricks on me tonight? You promised.'',
''Pf. This guy is too silly mommy.'',
''Oh my lord.''
Sheila hugged him amused once more, Allen giggled.
''Well, your son is really something Beth.''
Eric came up now and we hugged.
''Long time no see Eric.''
Rafael greeted them too and went to do the job I had told him to do.
''Let Eulia with me, sweetie.''
I told him and he kissed my cheek and left.
All of them seemed confused by our interaction.
I picked the little girl.
''This is Eulia. Rafael's daughter.''
they greeted her with a smile. We all had sat by now.
''Aunt Sheila?'',
''Yes, honey.'',
''Is that mister Tom?''
Allen looked at him with a boring look on his face.
''Nice one baby!''
I exclaimed laughing and playing with the little girl.
''You little demon!'',
''Hmph. He isn't that nice anyway.''
he said once more, Sheila gave him a headlock and they both laughed.
I looked at Tom, staring at the little guy, he gave me a concerned look which I turned away.
I knew it wasn't everything his fault, but I just didn't know how to talk to him.
''He knows, you know what-''
I glared at Sheila's exclamation.
''WHAT?'',
''Well, you know how smart your son is, can't hide anything from him, only the things he doesn't want to know.'',
I gave Allen a frowned look.
''I am not sorry at all mommy. But how come aunt Sheila is stupid enough to like him? I sure don't get you, women, look at Eulia, a nine-year-old and she won't stop staring at that stupid short guy from our class, you don't understand what morron means until you see him.''
he asserted looking at Eulia boringly.
''What does that even mean you, stupid idiot! Need I remind you-'',
''OKAY, OKAY. Not this again kids.''
I exclaimed.
They both looked at me like they were going to eat me alive.
Some time passed, and we had a good conversation, Damian and Tom didn't utter a single word, the only communication was between them.
''I think you two brats need to go home and sleep now.''
I said firmly
''No.''
Allen answered.
''It wasn't a question Allen.''
I looked at him but he turned his head, looking Damian and the other guys' way.
''Hey, let him stay a little more, he is so cute, I don't want to leave him.''
Sheila begged, Allen's eyes glistered with hope now.
''Okay, but Eulia is exhausted, she needs to go home Allen.''
he shrugged and signaled to his guard.
They all seemed astonished by the business cold aura he had around him, he looked exactly like Damian, but no one could say anything like that.
''This little man is already a boss?'',
Eric asked,
''Didn't you also have your own business when you were a kid?''
Allen asked confused.
''No baby, not everybody is like you, smart but also really frustrating. I wasn't supposed to have a 20-year-old man in my 6-year-old son.''
I took him in my arms,
''But, you know mommy only loves you.'',
''Of course, I know! And I only love mommy!'',
he hugged me tightly, and Sheila make a crying face defeated, I stuck my tongue out for her to see.
Ryan, his bodyguard, then stepped up.
''Young Master!'',
Allen gave him a look, and he immediately understood and nodded his head.
He left and after some time came back with Rafael and Eulias' caretaker.
''Hey girl, wake up! You're going back now.''
I told her and she sighed sleepily,
''This guy is such an annoying person.''
Allen shrugged and looked at his side.
''I know baby. Hey Raf? Will, you go back too?'',
''Nope, got stuck with your previous lover here trying to steer drama, can't leave until I fix your mess.''
I nodded naturally,
''Princess, you are going back with Miss Girtha, okay?''
she nodded and they left. Allen looked behind me, straight at Rafael's eyes, and asked,
''Who is it?'',
''Matt Down.''
Rafael answered knowingly like I didn't even exist.
''You sit right young man!''
I warned, they both shrugged and Rafael waved as he left again.
''What does that mean?''
Sheila asked.
''You know my mommy, she has any man she wants. But sometimes trouble comes knocking on her door. It is really annoying. But she won't let me do anything.'',
''Well, you really have no secrets do you?''
Steven exclaimed.
''Why don't you just let him, Beth? He's so cute he wouldn't do anything-'',
''Last time he almost poisoned Ariel Newt on the spot. Cute isn't he.''
I said glaring at Allen, his unbothered face was really cute, but I had to maintain my rules, so he wouldn't get into trouble in the future.
''Phh, he didn't even die. What a pity!''
he said while looking at Sheila with regret, and she laughed playing with his hair once more.
I shook my head in disapproval.
''I have made myself clear, Allen Kappa. No deaths on your hands, do you understand?'',
''No. I will protect mommy, even if she gets angry at me!''
he said firmly, his eyes ignited with fire, the same fire as Damian's eyes had before.
I furrowed my eyes and looked away.
The two people were too similar, and from time to time I got sentimental. Even now, Damian was sitting across from us.
Watching everything carefully, analyzing, and thinking about things I knew clearly about.
