My parents sound shocked at my decision
"Well, it would be easier if me and Emori is in the same club right? Besides I don't want to spend my whole high school life doing music"

"I could tell, it's just that I used to play volleyball as well, remember my golden setter era? But I spent quite a lot of time preparing for the National Piano Competition later on, so I think it would be fun if I can involved with it again"
"I have no objections, if Y/n becoming our manager meaning that I can make sure that no random boys is having inappropriate thoughts about her then I think she should"
"Emori you need to stop being so overprotective of your sister"
"Dad! She is the one who bought a pile of love letters home on her first day of school, I literally have to go to her classroom because some disgusting boy was being touchy with her"

I just stood there, speechless at how fast my dad switched sides

Emori said, looking at me
"Will you also please let him know that I can only join after the opening ceremony because Gojo-sensei is expecting quite a lot from me, please sugar"

I gave him a little hug before heading upstairs to the instrument room
Well, I received Gojo-sensei's email, and I think I got myself into a lot of stuff

This is Gojo Satoru and I'm writing to let you know what's happening on the opening ceremony
First, I kindly ask you to play one of your own piece, it could be anything but preferably Flower Dance ๑(◕‿◕)๑
Then, we will have a choir singing the song Viva La Vida, it would be fabulous if you could play the piano part [warning: maybe you will be singing as well] ( ๑‾̀◡‾́)σ"
Lastly, I ask you to play the instrumental part to the school song while everyone is going to sing together (˵¯͒〰¯͒˵)
There will be rehearsals for the choir each lunch time and after school because it is Monday today and the ceremony take place on Friday, logically, we only have Tuesday - Thursday
I'm extremely joyful that you can help out, I'll see you tomorrow lunch time

With that thought in mind, I printed out the piano sheet Gojo-sensei attached and starts playing immediately
I think I'm probably going to choose Flower Dance anyways, because the rest are not as hype
Viva La Vida have a very very nice melody flowing through the whole song so it was enjoyable to play
The school song was written by Gojo-sensei and I love his music taste, it matches mine so well so I ended up practising much more delighted than I expected
"Ayo princess, everything sounds amazing"
Emori popped his head through the door, complemented before showing me a peace sign
"Thank you sugar"
He then left me to keep practicing as he decide to finish his homework so he have time for volleyball practice tomorrow
The night flew past

We have just done the first run through of Viva La Vida and even though there's a lot to improve, it's sounds better than I expected
Despite piano, we also have a guitarist and a drummer, both really good and both are in my class, but we haven't talked before
Gojo-sensei decided to gave us a 10 minutes break
Both guitarist and drummer came to me
"Hey, I'm Serena Kurosawa, the guitarist and this is Yunaka Shirakami, the drummer"
"Y/n L/n, pianist"
I smiled softly, I think they realized I was smiling despite me wearing a mask because they smiled back
"So we were thinking, for the bridge part, I think instead of playing chords with you left hand, you should play separate chord because Serena would be playing chords on guitar"
Yunaka suggested, as they both looked at me
I flipped through the music and played as she suggested, to be fair, it's sounds better
"Yeah that's perfectly fine, sounds much better"
The girls smiled at me before starting a conversation with me, daily stuff
"Alright boys and girls, let's run through the song 3 more times and you are off to enjoy the rest of you day before the after school rehearsal
Everything is coming together by the end of lunch time and it is quicker than I thought
After the rehearsal finished, I walked to class with Serena and Yunaka, we all loved how the three instruments flowed together, it sounds amazing
Now I am very much looking forward to the opening ceremony

[Friday]
Today's plan is different to the normal timetables
Before lunch time, we go to our lessons per usual, but after lunch time we will gather at the school assembly hall and begin the opening ceremony, which is basically a welcome to all the new students
However, sine I'm involved a lot in the ceremony, I am also excused from my morning lesson to dress rehearsal and stuff
For the solo piece and Viva La Vida, I chose a blue and purple themed dress and for the whole school song I chose a yellowish gold coloured dress because I have to wear something along the lines of the school colour, yellow/green
"Princess you are looking for troubles yourself, watch all the boys become obessed with you after today"
That's what Emori's reaction was when I showed him the dress
Emori left earlier than me this morning because he is now a member of the boys volleyball team, meaning he have to be there for the morning practice
Which also means I have to go to the gym to give the bento box he forgot
Not that I minded, my brother have always been like this every since middle school, too focused on volleyball to remember anything else
Anyways, once I arrived at school, I dropped my bag in my classroom and informed Kazane-sensei about my absence for the rehearsal before going to the gym before the assembly hall
The door to the gym is opened, sound of volleyball being hit instantly engulfed me
I stepped inside with my brother's bento box in my handbag, which also have my dresses inside since I'm going to rehearsals straight after
"PRINCESS WATCHOUT!!!"
The first thing I heard was my brother, Emori, screaming on the top of his lungs
Looking up I see a volleyball flying towards me at a very fast pace, from Sakusa
Out of reflexes I dropped my handbag and got my hands into position, I did a perfect receive as the volleyball went back to where Sakusa is, which he caught it, eyes slightly widened
That was the most accurate receive he have ever seen
For a moment there was nothing but silent, just as I am about to break the uncomfortable tension, Emori sprinted towards me
"ARE YOU OKAY???"
He screamed at my ear
"Quiet down sugar, I'm okay, you forgot your bento box this morning"
I chuckled and reached for my handbag to get his bento box
As I passed it to him, some more players came to us
"L/n-san, that was an amazing receive, I doubt I would be able to receive it that perfectly"
Komori said, scratching the back of his neck while smiling
"Thank you Komori-san, I guess that's a deja vu of middle school"
"Are you Emori's sister? Like the Zephyr? Are you single?"
A very flirty boy came forward
"Step . Away . From . Her"
Emori replied with a murderous look in his eyes, I let out a little laugh before pulling him behind
"I'm Y/n L/n, Emori's sister"
Yeah, being smart as I am, I avoided the last question
"They say the L/n siblings are one of the most impressive volleyball genius siblings , I'm glad I witnessed that today"
A man, whom I assume is the coach, came from behind as he smiled in approval, Sakusa Kiyoomi is following behind him, expressionless as he looked into my eyes
He wasn't wearing a mask right now, his figures shines under the morning sunlight, god it's beautiful
Realising what I was thinking, I immediately broke he eye contact and looked at the coach
"Thank you coach, I apologise for interrupting the training, I just want to drop by to give Emori his bento, I shall take my leave now"
I bowed a little at him
"Y/n, please wait"
The coach called out as I turned around to face him
"If you haven't join any club yet, would you like to become the manager of the boys volleyball team? With someone as skilled as you, I'm sure the boys will improve a lot"
I smiled, I guess Lizuna-senpai haven't told him my decision yet
But the girl's hesitation means something else for the boy standing behind the coach
For some reason, he really want her to say yes

"Lizuna-senpai have asked me the same thing few days ago, and I gladly accepted the offer, however I did tell him I can only join after the opening festival because I do have a lot going on at the moment"
The coach nodded while the boy behind him let out a the breath he have been holding
"That's good news then, I assume you will be a part of the team start next Monday?"
"Yes, indeed"
"Alright then, we'll be waiting, boys let's get back to a 6 aside game before leaving!"
"HAI!!"
I gave Emori a quick hug and waved at Komori before leaving the gym
I decide to close the door so that no one else can get hit with the volleyball
The last second before the door is closed, I somehow meet the dark eyes of Sakusa
He look.....satisfied? I mean for once there isn't a frown on his face
Whenever I see him around school, he always has this hatred look on his face
I headed over to the assembly hall immediately after leaving the gym
"Y/N L/N MY LOVELY STUDENT YOU ARE FINALLY HERE"
Gojo-sensei shouted the second I entered the room
Yunaka and Serena was already there, Yunaka is unpacking her dum kit while Serena is tuning her guitar
They both smiled at me
"Sorry I'm little late"
I apologized, walking to the piano with my cleaning products in hand
Quickly spraying the wipe with alcohol, I cleaned the piano and the seat before sitting down
"Aww look at Y/n being clean"
Yunaka smiled as she came closer
"Well, you and Serena all get to bring your own instrument, I can't carry a piano with me to school everyday"
I pouted unwillingly while Yunaka chukled
"OKAY EVERYONE IS HERE, LETS RUN THROUGH THE SONG TWICE AND YOU ALL NEED TO GET CHANGE FOR THE DRESS REHEARSAL AND YOUR FREE TO GO"
Gojo-sensei shouted, we got into our position and start to rehearsal again
Everything went great, including the dress rehearsals and such
I spent my lunch time with Serena and Yunaka, since the three of us are going to the backstage together after this
"Princess!"
A familiar voice stopped me from going into the backstage
Yunaka and Serena both stopped as well
"Hello sugar"
I smiled as my brother approached me
"Y/n we'll wait for you at backstage"
I nodded as my friends left my sight
"Good luck okay, I know your gonna smash it"
"Ahh thank you sugar"
Emori came closer to give me a hug
"You know, Sakusa told me he is looking forward to hearing you play, he is a good brother-in-law to me"
"E..Emori!"
My face instantly flushed in redness as I pulled him away
He just laughed at my reaction before waving goodbye, going to sit down with his year group
Me on the other hand, still thinking about what he told me
Sakusa Kiyoomi... is looking forward to mine performance...
Unknowingly, a little smile made its way up to my face as I went to join Serena and Yunaka at backstage
