Tanjiro snored quietly his head lay on top of a table with 40 new batches of antidotes spending 2 months making a total of 207 with plans of making more just in case
He had also made a very special antidote for his father which will change every hour to turn muzan back into a human and it took nearly two weeks just to make this one
Tanjiro woke up feeling his sleeplessness fade away as he stared at the large syringe full of the special antidote, tanjiro stretched before looking out the window seeing a bright morning
"It's almost time......"
Demon slayer Corp HQ
Ubayashiki lay on his bed having a coughing fit, it was the nearly the end of his life. Spending years suffering mentally, physically and emotionally, he coughed blood and had bandages wrapped around the upper half of his head
Ubayashiki's disease rendered him blind and slowly and painful dying, he felt defeated from tanjiro's betrayal and having three very strong pillars dead and leaving the Corp in disarray
Ubayashiki thought sadly at dying and having to leave his son to clean up the mess from his failure. Sighing the man felt his wife clean up blood from his mouth the sixth time this morning
With Shinobu
Shinobu sat quietly in her room, she felt so down that she cried a bit but quickly sucked up her tears from last night to fail capture of the mysterious figure, the man who defeated most of the upper moons
The man who could finally end this all but yet her own weaknesses stopped her from reaching their savior, Shinobu had always looked down upon herself and her failure to be like her sister it made her depressed and sadden
She felt so useless and weak that it caused her to stop smiling and be more reserved that it shook mostly everyone, now she and her fellow pillars were going to get called on by ubayashiki to reveal his condition
At the infinity fortress
Muzan ordered a few demons into hiding spots, he had given some of blood and made all the demons he brought to the level of power of a lower moon. He saw the demons get into place as he tells Nakime to teleport him to his private room
A strung of a biwa later he was now in a room made for himself, he walked over to a desk seeing the map of the demon slayer HQ, he walked past it to a closet and picked up the suit he choose
Now everyone waits
The kamado residents
Tanjiro started training his sun breathing technique, despite being trained by the legendary swordsman yorrichi he kept up his training and now can do sun breathing without much difficulty
Tanjiro had packed half of the antidotes into a backpack and kept the special antidote right on his hip with was attached to his belt, tanjiro looked out the window seeing the morning sun turn to noon
Sighing tanjiro meditate to calm his nerves and focus his mind
Late into the after noon
Ubayashiki calls his children and informs them of his death coming making the situation of the demon slayer Corp much worse
In the infinity past noon
All the upper moons had been called and put into positions with many getting impatient for their 'well justified' revenge and many getting more blood thirty 'literally' and metaphorically
At night
Tanjiro held his swords, the first being his long sword and the second being yorrichi's sword, tanjiro stood out the front of his house as he kneeled in front of his parents picture
He put his hand together before praying
"Mom......dad......please help me for n my journey......to end this all...."
Tanjiro closed his eyes, two ghostly hands placed their transparent hand on each of his shoulders
"Move forward......tanjiro........"
Tanjiro gasp and immediately stood up but saw nobody behind him, he touched his shoulder and felt as if the sun shine on him despite being night. He felt full of spirits and thanked nobody in particular
He started running to find his family and end this all, standing at the house two ghostly figures stood next to yorrichi
"Grandfather do you think he could complete all the forms in time?"
"Yes, I believe he could become greater then me"
"I hope my boy can free everyone"
"Don't worry honey, he has everything he needs to succeed"
Demon slayer Corp HQ
Ubayashiki coughed profusely his wife wiping the blood off his mouth, he was going to die at any moment and everyone knew that and it pained ubayashiki
He went into his thoughts and smiled, he had a gifted sight almost supernatural knowing someone's true emotions and sometimes intentions, on top of that having the sight to 'see the future' which has been yet to be proven
He knew what was coming and felt something change, he felt someone standing at the porch and to his credit it was true because indeed someone was standing at the porch
"*cough* *cough* you finally come, muzan"
Right on point muzan, the king of all demons stood outside with the wind breezing his overcoat elegantly. Muzan's face looked at ubayashiki's pure anger and disgust
There lay his enemy so pitifully and in a utter mess it disgusted the demon king that his enemy wasted his puny life to kill him and failed
"You smell horrible like a rotting corpse"
Ignoring the demon kings insult ubayashiki asked his wife for a description of muzan
"He is a well dressed man with black hair and black checkered tie, eyes red as plum red with a slit in the middle like a cat and appears to be in his late twenties"
Now getting a good description of muzan, ubayashiki bandages gave way and showed most of his upper half of his face rotten like a corpse and his eyes white losing his sight
"Am disappointed ubayashiki, you humans act like your gods but yet I am the only true god here...."
"You might not know this but *cough* we are from the same blood line, you were born a thousand years ago but maybe your blood is different from mine"
"I feel no emotion here. What are you trying to say?"
Muzan didn't feel anything, ubayashiki was telling him that he was his family but yet it had no affect on the demon king. What? Was that supposed to be make him feel sad? Pity? Like as if
"Your a monster.......you came out this family and *cough* cursed us......every child born into our family were weak they died right away.....before our family could die off......a priest gave us advice.....a demon came from our bloodline....you must dedicate your soul to defeating him.....and if you do that your family will not die out......we have received wives from the priests for generations...and our children have grown more resilient to death now.......but no I has ever lived beyond thirty...."
"Now your reduced to rambling and death, did that sickness get to your brain? Why don't I just kill you here and now to end everything here?"
Muzan said glaring at ubayashiki who sat up with help from his wife. Ubayashiki coughed and turn his head to the direction of muzan
"Because you feel intrigued......despite having no emotions you feel a bit interest to hear me......tell me who made you feel emotions?"
Muzan froze at that, ubayashiki got him and remembered what his wife said and pointed at muzan
"Checkered tie? Emotions? Tell me was it tanjiro?"
Muzan's eyes widen a bit as if ubayashiki can see it he smiled a bit before speaking
"Did it pain you to lose that one person? That special someone you loved and hold dear to your heart? Tell me did the boy made you feel.......muzan?"
"ZIP IT."
Muzan said with a hint of anger, he had spent months of end in pain, anger and sadness so everything ubayashiki said was right on point
"So am I right? Tell me muzan did you care for the boy? Or was it all a lie, a play to act out?"
Muzan stared at ubayashiki, he suddenly felt calm and a bit reaped surprising the demon king who just a second ago felt like he was going to go on a massacre
He thought for a second and said
"Yes.......he did make me feel......in a long while I felt....happy and worried for him.....I wanted to have it all and share it with him......but you and your demon slayers came along and killed him in cold blood......if everything had gotten differently then maybe.....just maybe we could have gotten along..."
"I guess we could have......"
A silent sweep through the estate, unknown to muzan a crow had been sent out as every pillar rushed to get to ubayashiki's estate
"But I am here to avenge tanjiro......to avenge the only person I care about in my life......my son....."
Muzan started walking towards ubayashiki extending his hands out as his claws came out and ubayashiki smiled confusing muzan who wondered why he was smiling when he was going to die
The pillars were almost at ubayashiki's estate, it was in their eye sight that they thought they could make it in tune to save their master
BOOM
Then in a huge explosion ubayashiki's estate was blown up leaving mostly everyone dead in the estate. The pillar were shock and horrified to see the their masters home blow up and killing him along side mist of his family
In the destroyed estate muzan regenerated as he felt angry to the point he yelled
"UBAYASHIKI!!"
Near HQ tanjiro smelled the explosion and had quickly ran to HQ but to his shock ubayashiki's estate was destroyed and by the smell he had died in the explosion
But tanjiro immediately smelled another scent and to his shock his father stood there regenerating with in seconds, tanjiro ran at his father at blinding speeds as he pulled out the large syringe from his belt
Muzan was too distracted to noticed tanjiro who ran up to him and injected the special antidote, muzan saw tanjiro and immediately smacked him away noticing it was the mysterious figure who defeated most of his upper moons
Muzan then spotted all the pillars surrounding him as he gets hit by a spike ball getting his head exploded by the force of the attacked, it didn't take long as he regenerated and all the pillars charged at him readying their attacks
Muzan smirked before the floor changed and several doors opened underneath everyone, muzan laughed hysterically seeing all his sons killers and the mysterious figure fall right into his trap
"Your all going to hell!"
Then the doors shut as the final battle finally arrives
Everyone were currently falling but everyone had time to save themselves, all the pillars were all separated with everyone having a upper moon to fight
Rengoku against akaza
Mitsuri against daki and gyutaro
Iguro against gyokko
Gyomei against kokushibo
Giyuu against hantengu
Shinobu against douma
Muzan will stay in his private room as he will let Nakime who he will communicate to tell him about the fates of all the pillars
Tanjiro was thrown into the infinity fortress like everyone else and was next to Shinobu when they fell together but they got separated as tanjiro nearly fell into the void of the infinity fortress
Tanjiro stood on a platform and saw the infinity fortress getting fond memories growing up here discovering new room every day, he sighed looking sadly before following Shinobu scent
With Shinobu
Shinobu found herself in a section of the infinity, she grunted as she saw a door nearby and walked to the door before opening it, inside a long wooded path in a zigzag lead her further inside
She walked down the oath seeing fishes inside the water swimming by, Shinobu walked farther before she spotted someone hunch over on a bigger piece of the wooden path with several dead women corpses
"Huh?"
The man turned around staring at Shinobu with his rainbow color eyes
"Oh my~"
