It has been a while since I have been out of the house, so I decided to take a stroll around the house. I put on a hoodie and cap as I put the facemask in my pocket. It wasn't really needed because there aren't anyone around but just in case. I got out of the house and locked the door after me before putting my hands in my pockets and taking in the cold fresh air. I couldn't stop thinking about what Minju had said yesterday. It felt like she was really sorry about what had happened.
I sighed as I waited further away from the house but soon I heard some voices in the distance.
???: Girls! Don't run too far away or you will get lost!
???: Okay, unnie!
The voices sounded so familiar. I took out my facemask from my pocket and quickly wore it. What in the world were the girls doing here?! Out in the middle of nowhere?!
Wonyoung: Yena unnie! Yujin unnie! I saw a butterfly flying this way!
I quickly ducked behind a tree as Wonyoung, Yujin and Yena ran past me. I sighed in relief that they didn't see me and quickly made my way back. As soon as I got back it began to rain. I sighed in relief as I escaped the girls but I also got worried about them. What if they get caught up in the rain and get sick? What if- *knock knock*
I quickly turned around and looked at the door, as I heard someone knocking on the door. I tiptoed closer to the door and looked through the peek hole, only Wonyoung, Yujin, and Yena right in front of my door. I cursed under my breath and tried to tip-toe away when Yena began to speak.
Yena: Please let us in for a moment. It is raining with cats and dogs at the moment! We just want to shelter for a while!
I opened the door slightly so that they wouldn't see my face or have the opportunity to come inside. I made my voice a bit deeper to not be recognized.
Jahoon: I'm sorry but I can't let you in right now as the house is a mess and I don't let strangers in.
I was about to close the door when Yujin placed her foot in the gap of the door.
Yujin: Please sir. Just for a moment, we won't ask for anymore.
Jahoon: I'm sorry but the house is under renovation. You guys would have to find another house to be in.
Wonyoung: It's fine if we can just stay here at the entrance. Please, sir~ Your house is the only house around here~
Girls... Sweeties... You guys have to learn to take a no sometimes. I watched them from the crack as I saw them visibly shaking, being wet from top to bottom. In the end, the good part of me took the better of me, as I couldn't stand to see them freeze like this.
Jahoon: Fine but wait a minute.
I pushed Yujin's foot out and closed the door before running to my bedroom to put on a cap, facemask, and hoodie to cover my identity. I quickly ran back and opened the door for them to enter. As soon as they got in, I closed the door behind them and saw them looking around the house with their mouth agape.
Yujin: I'm sorry sir but didn't your say that the house was under renovation?
Yujin looked at me skeptically as it was clear that the house wasn't under renovation. I could feel the sweat roll down my forehead as I tried to come up with an excuse.
Jahoon: It's because it is another part of the house that is under renovation but I was just worried if a worker passed by with some heavy stuff and you girls would get hurt.
The girls looked between each other with a look like they didn't believe what I said but then they just shrugged and looked out of the window in hope that it would stop raining soon.
Yujin: Excuse me but can I borrow the bathroom, please?
Jahoon: Sure, it's just past that for over there.
I pointed towards where the bathroom was. Yujin nodded and began making her way towards the bathroom but due to water that was dripping from her and the slightly already slippery floor, Yujin was about to slip with her back hitting the floor. I quickly ran over to her and caught her in my arms. I looked at her face to see her closing her eyes shut, waiting for the impact.
Jahoon: Yujin! Are you okay?! Did you get hurt anywhere?! Your ankle?! Fever?!
Yujin: Jahoon unnie?!
In my distress seeing Yujin almost get hurt, I accidentally slipped and spoke in my own voice. I looked at her shocked and then got her to stand up on her own feet before pulling away.
Jahoon: What are you talking about? My name is not Jahoon, my name is...uh...Sanha!
Yujin: I'm pretty sure that the voice I heard was Jahoon unnie's voice.
Suddenly Yujin nodded and grabbed my left arm with Yena grabbing my right arm.
Yena: Wonyoung! Hurry! Grab the mask!
Wonyoung hurried over to us and grabbed my mask before pulling it down with my hoodie. They all looked at me shocked. I sighed and ruffled my hair a bit. Seems like the cat is out of the bag....
Jahoon: Hey~
I looked around me to see 12 girls standing in a half-circle with their arms crossed and with a glare in their eyes. After Yujin, Yena and Wonyoung found out that it was me, they had called the other girls to tell them that they had found me and shared our location with them and here we are now.
Eunbi: Explain yourself Jahoon.
Jahoon: Jahoon? Who are you talking about? I'm just a very normal citizen with the name Yoon Sanha- Ouch!
Eunbi unnie, who was right beside me, slapped me on the back of my head. I rubbed my neck as I pouted at her.
Eunbi: Jahoon. Spill. It.
Jahoon: Yes ma'am. I don't really have much to say, as I have already written it in the letter but I felt like I have been too much of a burden for you guys and also what happened between Minju and me....
I looked down at the floor as I was too embarrassed to face them. I could feel a tear roll down my cheek. Suddenly I felt someone wrapping their arms around me. I tilted my head slightly up to see that it was Minju.
Minju: I'm sorry.... I'm really sorry for everything.... I didn't mean the words I told you that day.... I didn't mean to hurt you or break up with you.... Please... please let us get back together... if you still want to have me...
I stood frozen for a while as I didn't know how to react but I soon found my arms around Minju, trying to hold her closer to my body. Warm tears were rolling down my cheeks unconsciously.
Jahoon: I still want you and I still want to be with you. Even if you hate me and get disgusted by me and want me to go to hell, I will always want you and be by your side even if you don't want me to. So yes...
I pulled a bit away and cupped Minju's cheeks, so I could stare into her eyes, as I gave her a small smile. Her eyes were glistening from the tears that had formed in her eyes. I wiped the tears away from her cheeks and pulled her face, so I could peck her forehead. I pulled away but kept our forehead connected.
Jahoon: Yes, I would love for us to get back together.
The girls cheered on us as Minju pulled me into a kiss. I could feel Minju smiling into the kiss, making me smile.
Eunbi: Okay! That kiss has been going on for too long and we have kids watching right now.
Yujin: Wait unnie~! I was just about to bring some popcorn out!
Jahoon: Yah! It's not like we are gonna have sex in front of you guys and even if we did, then it won't be like the porn that you are watching at night when you thought everyone was asleep! Yeah, I know about your little research to find "things" to do with Wonyoungie.
Yujin: Yeah?! What about the times that I caught you and Minju unnie almost doing in the dorm when you guys thought that you were alone?!
Yujin and I kept bickering. The others just looked at us, not knowing what to do with the newfound information while Eunbi unnie sighed before breaking us apart.
Eunbi: Yah! You two stop bickering or I will cut your tongues!
Yujin and I kept playfully glaring at each other before it got me.
Jahoon: Wait... Eunbi unnie?
Eunbi: Yeah?
Jahoon: You said that I couldn't keep missing Minju because the kids were here?
Eunbi:.... yeah?
Jahoon: So if we go to another room and kids then it would be fine?
Eunbi: Technically yeah but-
Before Eunbi unnie could finish her sentence, I grabbed Minju in a bridal style and then proceeded to walk to the stairs.
Jahoon: The first rooms are on the second floor! You guys can choose whichever room you want to sleep in for tonight. Now, if you would excuse us!
I ran up the stairs while giggling as I held Minju closer to me as she giggled and hit my shoulder softly. I got to my room and closed the door behind me with my foot and locked the door as best as I could while still holding Minju. I then laid her on the bed and crawled on top of her, prompting myself up with my arms to look her in the eyes. We stared at each other with soft smiles on our faces. I brushed away the stray hairs from her face and was suddenly pulled down into a kiss by wrapping her arms around my neck. We only broke apart when we needed air. We looked at each other and giggled.
Minju: I missed you so much~
Jahoon: I missed you too~ I missed holding you into my arms.
I placed my head on her chest and listened to her heartbeat. I felt Minju's fingers combing through my hair, making me even more relaxed.
Minju: I'm sorry for what I did... I didn't mean to say those words.
I looked at her face and smiled softly, grabbing her hand while running my finger over her knuckles.
Jahoon: Don't worry too much about it. Let's just leave all of what has happened behind and let's do what Yujin wants us to do earlier.
Minju: What do you mean?
Jahoon: Well~
I looked at her with a smirk before pulling the bedsheets over our head and the rest.... Let's keep it a secret.
