Cookie whipped her head around and then looked at me.
Cookie: What do you need baby gir?
Me: Can you umm... I feel so embarrassed
Cookie: What chu need baby
Me: Can you maybe get Hakeem to do a song with me
Cookie: Baby I can try
I then turn and give her a big hug.
Me: Your like the mom I never had
Cookie: And you are like the the daughter I have always wanted
She gave me a kiss on the cheek and then walked out of Empire. I turned and went onto recording in the studio after she left.
I then finished in the studio a few hours later. I called a cab and headed to my condo.
I entered my house and came home to the empty silent house. My niece should be here. My niece is 4 years old. Her name is Paris. I only have her for tonight cause my sister couldn't find anyone to babysit her.
Me: Paris
I didn't hear anything. I was really scared. I went and I checked my bedroom. She was watching Dora in my room.
Me: Paris, baby did you hear auntie calling you
Paris shook her head.
Me: When did Mariah leave
Paris: minutes ago
Me: Did you eat
Paris nodded her head. I went over and kissed her chubby cheeks. Just then my phone start to ring. I answered it.
Phone Convo:
Me: Hello
??: Hey baby
Me: Who is this?
??: You should know who
I had to think a minuet before answering.
Me: Hakeem
Hakeem: About time
I giggled.
Me: What do you want
Hakeem: Well my moms talked me into doin a son wit chu
Me: REAlLLY oh my gosh I could just hug you right now
Hakeem: You can
Me: Uh how
Then I heard a knock on the door. I ran to the door and opened it. Hakeem was standing right in front of me with his arms open. I ran into them. He moved his hands to my waist. I then let go to see him smiling at me.
Me: You have no idea how much this means to me
Hakeem: I do actually
Just then my niece came out looking at us talking.
Paris: This auntie boyfriend
I was about to say something when Hakeem just butted in.
Hakeem: Yes my name is Hakeem but you can call me Keem
Paris smiled and ran to him. I smiled when I saw him pick her up and start kissing her all over. I swer why would be say I'm his girlfriend when I'm not. Is this an act.
Paris then wouldn't leave Hakeem alone. She followed him to the couch to the kitchen. Everywhere. Then he put her to sleep. When he got done he sat on the couch in the living room.
Hakeem: Damn she full of energy
Me: I know right
Hakeem: Why did she ask if I was yo boyfriend
I shrugged my shoulders.
Me: Why did you say you were
He shrugged his shoulders. I gave him a really nigga face and he started to laugh.
Hakeem: Well I saw you around Empire and I have always had dis thing fur you but you never seemed interested
I then leaned over and kissed him. I don't know why but I did. What came over me. I still don't know. He did kiss back though. I was so happy and started smiling into the kiss.
That was a start to a very good relashionship.
