I woke up to bruises on my face and a wound on my arm from earlier. I could feel the air breezing into the wound. I tried to act like the bruises and wounds weren't there but I mean I can't really ignore the pain. I heard my fathers tv turn on in the living room. That must mean he's here. Most of the time my dad is Gone, he goes out drinking with his friends a lot.
I decide to head to my friend Lauren's because I always feel safe in her house. I put on some baggy sweatpants that hardly even fit me but we're extremely comfy then and blue sweatshirt that fit perfectly. I added some makeup to my cheeks to cover up the bruises. I had to climb out my window as quietly as I could so my father wouldn't ketch me sneaking out. I jump out the window and make a run for it.
Her house is about two miles away from my house. Some people would think that's really far but I actually don't mind walking. As I'm walking I see these teenage boys.
I could just tell by the look in there eyes that they were drunk. They started following me. They final went up to me and started touching me uncomfortably I then push them off of me and make a run for it. I was about a mile away from her house now.
They were chasing after me and I didn't know how long my legs could keep moving. I felt like I was about to collapse. I then finally could see her house. Without knocking I run right in and lock the door immediately.
