{Beth's/Bella's POV}
[abcuction. dorm, night]
The girls all gathered up. In their eyes, I could see fear and hurt.
"I know you all miss your family. I miss my mum too. But here, we can't be emotional at all. If we want to survive, we have to become stronger. Do you understand me?"
They nodded.
"I am 014. My name is Bella. I want each of you to tell me a name, not your real one, and the number they gave you."
Each of them started talking then.
"This is going to be hard. I hope I can manage to get their trust soon. There is not much time."
Some of them were scared of me, some of them were happy to have a crew and some of them wanted to get to the point.
"Okay, let me see now. I will write down everyone. If I remember something wrong you correct me."
971: "Will you kill us If we correct you?"
Bella: "No 971. I will not. I am here to help you survive."
821: "How so?"
"By training you, and that means that we have to become the first crew here. But I will not tolerate betrayal."
124: "As you should."
"If you do betray me, I will find and kill you myself. Do you understand?"
600: "Of course."
"Now, I am going to call each one of you to know how you look."
"Mia number 481."
Mia: "Here!"
"Pat n.882."
882: "Yes."
(Several minutes later)
"Brenda n.982"
982: "Here, miss."
"And last one, Angela n.201."
201: "I am also here."
"Good, all are here. Each gets their beds and things."
246: "Should we call you a leader?"
"That is your choice, if you want me to be your leader, I will."
124: "You have to prove yourself to us, we have to know what you can do."
"That was exactly what I was thinking."
822: "First, we have to read the rules. Then we all go together, shall we?"
"Okay, but we have to seem united. I know it isn't easy we don't know each other at all."
Mia: "I think we can manage that."
"We have no other choice. When we're out there you have to listen to me."
Mia: "Okay."
389: "I also agree."
"You don't talk to any of the other girls. It is dangerous and I won't be able to help if I'm in the ring. Okay?"
600: "Of course."
335: "Let's do this!"
After that, we wore our uniforms with our representative symbols.
It was an eight turned into the side, the edges symbolizing the head of a snake that eats itself.
[dorm, hallway]
We started walking toward the main hall. When we reached our destination, most of the others were there. Two teams hadn't shown up yet. Each team sat at their representable table.
[hall, night]
"Good evening ladies. I am 009, Narie. "
A woman in her late forties walked in from the front door. Her stance was uptight, and her demeanor was one of a high profile.
Narie: "I, from now on, will be responsible and represent you, as the late generation. I do not like anyone breaking the rules, if you do, there will be consequences and punishments. If the leader wants to protect the member, then she, herself will be punished along with the member. This is an operation that trains girls like you for various reasons. You will start your training from tomorrow, at five in the morning. You are here, which means you need to become smarter, stronger, and more cunning to stay alive. I believe with a good team leader you will last longer than expected. Do not misunderstand the quietness here. From tomorrow, our operation members, which will train you in every way possible, will arrive."
She stopped for a moment to observe everyone. She frowned when she realized some girls were missing.
Narie: "And believe, they're not as nice as I am. So do not cross them, as the girls that are not here have already done, let them be your example tomorrow. Remember without real power you are no one here. We all listen to the big boss, and we do as we were told. You will be placed into missions, each one of you. The training will help you fight, seduce and most of all survive."
Her eyes found mine, and unlike any girl, I didn't coward under her eyesight.
Narie: "Also, I am not in any place to solve any problems you have between you. You kill, you claim the territory and the people. You won't be able to leave here. So don't waste our time trying to escape. Now the seven leaders, please come and stand in your places."
She explained and pointed at us. We were each put into a see through glass box.
Narie: "In there you will be out of the air, only the time you faint they will get you out. This is a test to see if any of you have some special talents, more of the tests will happen day by day, so get used to it. If you scream for help then... You maybe be saved or maybe be dead. Please put your clothes off now."
Most of the leaders and girls were shocked. They refused at first but quickly were convinced, seeing the bodyguards ready to pounce on any of them if disobeyed.
I did as I was told, stepped inside the box, and closed the door. I have no other choice.
Narie: "Time starts now."
[inside the glass box.]
They were taking the air out slowly, but steadily from the lass box. I couldn't concentrate, I closed my eyes, images of my mum, or the first time I was abducted, came to mind but I quickly got rid of them.

The moment the air was gone, I fainted.
Before that, I heard some of the girls screaming to get out, but most of them fainted almost immediately.
Darkness, coldness, and numbness, that's how it felt being trapped in there like some sick animal. After that, they woke us up again.
Narie: "You can put your clothes on now. The ones that fainted the first minute will proceed with their punishments right away."
They dragged the girls on the floor all away, like they were garbage.
Narie: "Now for the two who asked for help, there's the second kind of punishment meant for cowards like you, you will go there. The ones that aren't even here, are already being punished. Okay, that's out of the way. Now you, Miss 014, I am very impressed by your performance."
"You should be."
Narie: "Well, yes. You seem so young, yet so skillful already. Very good. Even Nat wasn't as good as you."
"No one is as good as I am."
Narie: "Confidence, I like it. Now, Your crew will have a reward, as expected."
"Which is?"
Narie: "You will gain a team of 10 bodyguards, but you have to tame them first to claim them. Are you ready Miss 014?"
"I was born ready as it seems."
Narie: "Good. After an hour you will come back with your crew members. There will be 10 rounds. You have to put out 10 of your members to fight one of the bodyguards each. You can of course fight yourself, but only five rounds, not all of them."
Mia: "Okay, let's head back."
I nodded and then all of us went back.
[dorm 001, hallway]
"Meeting in five."
I exclaimed and went to change. We gathered and started the meeting
Bella: "So, girls, let's not waste any time, remember, we are not safe, we have to do this. Either way, some of us will get hurt tonight. Who can fight here, tell me."
The people of the operation, as they call it, had given us programs and instructions. The first step was to make everyone useful in our crews.
246: "I can."
"Are you sure you wanna do this?"
246: "Yes, you almost got suffocated for us, I can certainly fight a man or two. I choose to be a fighter in this team."
"Thank you. I will write that down and get back to them. Who else can?"
882: "I also am willing to do this."
"Thank you, Pat."
882: "My pleasure, this is a dangerous situation we are in. You are the only one not panicking and that means a lot."
I could understand the girls that they had chosen were not normal. These are dangerous, and I need to survive.
"Yes, I know I have and you have o do this. Now, is someone else willing to be a fighter for this team?"
623: "I- I can!"
"Are you sure?"
623: "I know I look and am very timid but really, I can fight."
"I believe you, but are you sure? I do not want to force any of you."
623: "I am doing this willingly, we all have no other choice. This is a deadly situation, I want to help myself, and everyone else too."
"You are correct. Okay, next."
Brenda n.982, Angela n.201, and Bara n.436 said they wanted to be fighters on the team.
"Okay, the fighters go get ready, we have less than forty minutes. Now, we need a manager, an assistant, an accountant and a lower. Who's job was each, please offer you help."
224: "I will be your assistant, I hope I won't disappoint you."
"Thank you, A' Lin."
823: "I will surely be able to help you. I was a real accountant before coming here."
"I am glad you are willing to put yourself out there."
823: "I am willing to help this team grow, and one day gets out of here."
"Thank you, Debra, that is my plan too."
128: "Can I be your manager? I will do a great job!"
"I saw your description papers, yes I trust you being our manager."
128: "I appreciate it."
"I do too."
We continued talking and getting to know each other for the next hours.
"Until the time for the first fight finally came."
Mia: "You guys got this!"
Mia said and helped us get ready.
{Beth's POV}
A slight pinch on my skin made me jump.
When I realized where I was, I shook my head lightly to get these thoughts away.
