Third Person POV
In a room, Y/N sits in a chair facing away from the door. He looks paler, thinner... but alive. The sun shines through white curtains. The Dodgers game plays on a vacuum tube radio on a wooden dresser.
Eventually the door opens. In walks a Brunette woman, "Oh, you're finally awake. Good morning," she looks at her watch, "or should I say Afternoon."
She moves over to another chair just across from Y/N.
Y/N looks at her, "Where am I?"
"You're in a recovery room in New York City," She tells him, as if scripted.
Y/N raises his eyebrows and frowns at her, "Where am I really?"
The woman chuckles to herself, "I'm afraid I don't understand."
"I can see and hear through these walls, I can see the armed guards in the next room. I can hear people in a different building speak of a president I don't know the name of, and I can see the roads outside filled with buildings with glowing signs on them," he smiles calmly at her, "Now I'm gonna ask you one last time and I expect the truth. Where am I?"
The door behind him opens once more. He hears a mans voice, "I'll handle this from here, Agent."
Y/N turns to see a black man with an eyepatch. The man steps in front of him as the woman leaves the room. The man sits in the chair. Y/N stares him down.
The man stares back at him, "At ease, soldier. Look, I'm sorry about this little show right here, but we thought it best to break it to you slowly."
"Break what?"
"You've been asleep, Lieutenant. For almost seventy years."
Y/N looks around the room. Or seemingly around the room. The man looks at the walls, "So it's true then? You can see through walls?"
"I can see through more than just walls... Where is he?"
"Captain Rogers? Currently out at The Retreat, where you'll join him soon."
"And who are you?"
"Nick Fury. Director of SHIELD and biologically much older that you."
Y/N's eyes dart at Fury. Fury pulls out a heavily dilapidated folder. He opens it and reads aloud, "Tony Edward L/N. Seems the Starks really liked that name, but you prefer Y/N, right? Born February 5, 1934. Somehow joins the army at nine. How?"
Y/N smirks, "I drank my milk."
Fury just looks at him, "Either way, we think it's best for you to go back to school after everything gets sorted."
"School? First off, I already know more than what a school could possibly teach me. And second, I don't know if you've noticed but I'm bigger than most people my age."
"In the past seventy years, the average height for your age has gotten taller."
Y/N looks down quickly before looking back up, "Fine, Whatever. Ain't got nothin better to do."
Fury smiles and sticks out his hand. Y/N shakes it, ready to leave this room.
"Welcome back to society, soldier."
