PRESENT DAY.
It's been a week since Shreya's anniversary party. Kavin has become quite comfortable with @Anonymus123. He has discussed his little fears, soft corners, happy memories with him. And vice versa. The two chat more than 2 minutes a day. Both haven't seen each other's faces or follow each other because of the condition given by Dushyant, but it's not a priority for both of them. They both are happy and comfortable without seeing each other's faces. Though both of them haven't shared their lives' biggest secrets with each other, the small things, the likings they have in common have become a wire connecting them. And the bond they shared was also because of the talks after Kavin's second suicide attempt. They say na...'We bond the most when we have faced the worst together.'
Kavin took out his favorite black suit. He applied gel to his soft hairs, setting them. He sprayed deo over himself. Wore his favorite watch. He was looking at himself in the mirror. Pankaj observed him and stood behind him. Kavin was lost in himself. Well, it was quite new. At least for the people who knew him now. The ones who know him for years know that this is the real Kavin. The handsome hunk, self-loving guy, the confident man. Pankaj was smiling ear to ear looking at Kavin.
Kavin looked at Pankaj from the mirror.
Kavin – Golu.....Hass kyu raha hai?
Pankaj – Sir..aap kitne dino baad aise taiyyar hue ho. Accha lag raha hai.
Kavin laughs – Accha to mai hu. Chal...bureau se chalte hai.
Pankaj – Ji sir. Sir...wo room rent pe chadhane ka ad de diya hai maine paper me. Koi na koi PG mil hi jayega.
Kavin – Hm..good.
In the bureau, everyone's happy seeing the old Kavin.
Freddy – Kya baat hai Kavin. Aaj bada saj dhaj ke aaye ho. Baat kya hai?
Kavin – Freddy ji baat kuch jyada nahi hai, bass kaafi dino baad mann kiya taiyyar hone ka to ho gaya.
Pankaj – Sir kuch to baat hai. Kavin sir ne peechle ek hafte se limit me chadhayi hai. Aur (in Amitabh Bacchan's style.) Khush to bohot hai ye.
Abhijeet – Are wahh....kya baat hai bhai Kavin. Hein?
Daya – Ha boss...humse to mat chupao.
Kavin laughs – Are sir sachme koi baat nahi hai.
Divya calls Dr.Salunkhe and informs him about Kavin's visit. He replies that he will be there in sometime.
Just then ACP enters the bureau with the most annoying person, DCP Chitrole with him.
ACP – To wo file aaj hi Head Quarters bhej di jayegi. Are Abhijeet kaun....(Kavin turns) Kavin! Aaj bureau ke raaste kaise?
Kavin – Sir bass yaad aayi to aa gaya.
ACP – Haa...aise hi hume yaad karte raho. Aur aaj acche se purane Kavin banke aaye ho.
Kavin smiles – Ha sir. Mann kiya taiyyar hone ka to ho gaya.
Kavin – Kaise ho aap DCP sir?
DCP (frowning) – Accha hu.
Kavin – Hass ke baat kar lete to accha tha.
DCP smirks – Haske aur tumse baat. Ho hi nahi sakta.
Kavin – Same pinch sir.
DCP – Meri insult kar rahe ho?
Kavin – Ha. Aur ab aap mere senior bhi nahi rahe.
DCP – Senior nahi hu to kya? Tumse bada to hu.
Kavin – Badappan umar se nahi aata sir. Swabhav se aata hai.
DCP smirks – Ye baat tumhare muh se shobha nahi deti Kavin.
ACP interrupts them – Are Kavin. Tum firse CID join karne wale ho ki nahi?
Kavin – Sir...kar leta, par business kise handover karu? Siddhu ko pucha to usne mana kar diya. Kaam ke chakkar me family peeche na pad jaaye aisa darr hai use.. Aur uske jitna able abhi to mere nazro ke saamne nahi aaya.
ACP sighs – Thik hai. Sochna wapas aane ke liye. Dushyant ko to nahi bula sakte. Uss baat ka bojh ab bhi dil pe hai. Lekin at least tum to..
Kavin's eyes become moist – Ha sir. Sochunga.
DCP – Koi jarurat nahi hai.
Everyone looks at him.
DCP – Kya? Aise kya dekh rahe ho? Sach hi to kaha hai maine. Apne dost ki jaan lene wala darinda hai ye. Ye kya duty nibhaega.
A chill goes down everyone's spine. Shreya senses the upcoming volcano outburst.
DCP smirks – Dushyant ne ise bachaya aur khud kurbaan ho gaya, ise jarasi chinta thi Dushyant ki? Jiss din tum logo ne ise maaf kiya usi din Dushyant ye duniya chodke chala gaya.
Kavin smirks – Dushyant ke liye itni tarafdaari aapke muh se shobha nahi deti sir.
DCP smirks – Aur tumhe bhi Dushyant ko apna dost kehna Shobha nahi deta.
ACP – Sir ye aap...
Kavin (cutting ACP's sentence) – Mujhe kya Shobha deta hai aur kya nahi wo aap mujhe nahi bata sakte sir. Sabko sach pata hai yaha. Kaun kitna saccha hai ye sab jaante hai.
ACP – Kavin...
DCP (cutting ACP's sentence) – Ab to ye sacche banne ka natak band karo Kavin. Itni hi chinta hoti Dushyant ki to sach jaanne ki koshish karte.
Kavin smirks – Ki thi. Nahi mila koi suraag. Nahi mili koi kadi jo mujhe sach bata sake. Aur aaj bhi mai usi koshish me hu.
DCP – JHOOTH! Tum Dushyant ki maut ki nahi Shruti ki maut ki investigation kar rahe ho. Agar itna hi khaas tha Dushyant to 2 mahine tak uss ladki Shruti ko nahi ghumate. Sacchayi janne ki koshish karte. Lekin afsos..... Sacchayi tumhe kabhi dikhi hi nahi.
Kavin – Shruti ke baare aap jaante hi kitna hai sir? Aur Dushyant ke baare me? Dushyant aur Shruti ke baare me mai jitna jaanta hu utna to aap nahi jaante honge sir.
DCP – Kya jaante ho tum Dushyant ke baare me?
Kavin – Wo mai aapko batana jaroori nahi samajhta.
DCP smirks – Jawaab hi nahi hai to bataoge kya?
Kavin – Hai. Lekin aapko wo jawaab dekar mai apna waqt barbaad nahi karna chahta.
DCP shook his head – To batao kaun hai Dushyant ka qatil? Batao?
Daya – Sir...ye aap kya kar rahe hai? Hum sab jaante hai ki Kavin aaj bhi Dushyant ke jaane ke ghum me hai. Dushyant ki maut se pehle use ekbaar Sorry bhi nahi keh paaya wo. Tabse khudko badal bhi diya hai isne.
DCP – Badal diya? Kya badla? Jiss din Dushyant ki maut hui us din ye Dushyant se milne gaya tha. Kavin – Ha gaya tha. Sorry bolne. Lekin usne mujhse baat nahi ki.
DCP – Aur usi din Dushyant ki maut ho gayi?
Abhijeet – Sir aap ye kehna chahte hai ki Kavin ne Dushyant ko maara hai?
DCP – Baatein bhul jaate ho Abhijeet lekin dimaag ab bhi tez chalta hai tumhara.
ACP – Sir aap kitna ghatiya iljaam laga rahe hai Kavin par.
Shreya – Ha Sir. Kavin Dushyant se ladh sakta hai, jhagad sakta hai. Wo use maar nahi sakta ye sab jaante hai.
Freddy – Aur Sir, Kavin aapke jitna soch bhi nahi sakta. Aise khayal aapke dimaag me hi aa sakte hai.
Pankaj – Kavin sir Dushyant se aur Dushyant sir Kavin sir se bohot pyaar karte the. Dono ekdusre se naaraz the, lekin Kavin sir unke saath aisa nahi karenge.
Nikhil – Dushyant sir ke saath kya Kavin sir kisi ke saath bhi aisa nahi karenge.
Divya – Kavin sir mann ke bure na kabhi the na honge.
DCP laughs – Accha? Itna pyaar hai tumhe isse? Jiss din Dushyant mara usi din tum sabne ise maaf kiya tha na? Tabhi se itna pyaar aa raha hai tum logo ko isspar.
ACP – Ha kiya tha maaf. Kyuki uski haalat nahi dekhi jaa rahi thi humse. Tut chuka tha wo baccha.
DCP – Baccha hai to god me uthao. Sar pe kyu chadhaya hai?
ACP – Sar pe?
DCP – Haa sir pe. Ise pata tha. Thodasa rona dhona karega to maafi mil jayegi. Waise bhi sab isi ki side me the.
Daya – Isliye usne apne sabse kareeb dost ko maar diya?
DCP – Maara nahi, lekin sach bhi to kabhi dhundha nahi.
Kavin was in tears till now. He was speechless by the baseless allegations composed on him. He was sobbing like a child. He gathered all his courage,
Kavin (crying) – DHOONDHA! Maine dhoondha Dushyant ke Qatil ko. Par nahi mila mujhe. Nahi mila. Aur ab tak dhoondh raha hu. Shruti meri jo koi bhi thi, par mere saath mere ghar me rahi hai wo. Isliye uske maut ki jaanch pehle kar raha hu. Dushyant mera sabse accha dost tha. Bhai jaisa tha wo mere. Apne dil ki baat batane me kabhi jhijhak nahi hui uske saath. Aise dost ki maut mai kaise bardhasht kar lu? Nahi mila Qatil abhi tak. Nahi mila. Par iska matlab ye nahi hai ki mujhe uske jaane ka dukh nahi hai. Aur mai sirf sympathy ke liye drama kar raha hu. 6 saal tak koi drama nahi kar sakta sir!
DCP – Uske maut ka sach jaanne ke liye keh raha hu mai. Wo sach jo tumne kabhi dhoondhne ki koshish nahi ki.
Kavin (still crying) – KAISA SACH??? HUH? KAISA SACH??
DCP opens his mouth to say something but is interrupted by Dr.Salunkhe. Dr.Salunkhe and
Dr.Tarika had come to meet Kavin as Divya had informed them about Kavin's visit. In the heat of the argument no one noticed them enter.
Dr.Salunkhe – BASS KIJIYE CHITROLE SIR! Bohot hua. Kitna pareshaan karoge iss bacche ko?
DCP – Salunkhe tu to chup hi reh. Sabse bada jhootha to tu hai yaha.
Dr.Salunkhe – Thik hai. Lekin ab basss! Bohot jhagda hua. Aise to kaam kaam karte rehte ho. Aaj kaam nahi hai? Aur ye logo ka kaam bhi rok ke rakha hai. Phir inhe hi kaamchor kehte ho.
DCP – Salunkhe...
Dr.Salunkhe – Kya Salunkhe? Huh? Kya Salunkhe? Jao. Kaam karo. Sukh se raho aur hume bhi rehne do.
DCP's phone rings. He talks for a while on the phone and then just glaring at everyone leaves.
He just says a sentence before leaving.
DCP – Aaj DCP Chitrole ko chup kara diya tune Salunkhe. Agli baar mai sach bolke rahunga.
ACP – Ye kya kabse sach sach laga rakha hai isne Salunkhe?Dr.Salunkhe- Buddha hai. Chod de. Kavin ko dekhte hai.
Kavin is on his knees crying profusely. He couldn't bear the allegations. He had a serious breakdown.
Daya in an assuring tone – Dekho Kavin.......
Kavin forwarded his hand asking Daya to not say a word. He got up and went out of the bureau.
ACP – Shreya, uske saath jao. Jis haalat me wo gaya hai usme use ek dost ki sakht jarurat hai. Kuch paagalpan na kar baithe wo.
Shreya – Sir.
And she goes behind Kavin.
