Now that Darmanitan, pignite, and zoroak have evolved, the heroes are on their way to ash and grim next gym battle, in hopes to claim their next gym badge. The heroes were walking to the mountain. As they walk they wonders what the gym was. But then a bunch of boulde came running down after them. They made a run for it but were saved by a man and a Beartic. They soon learn from Cilan that he was the Icirrus City gym leader, Brycen. Cilan told us he was an action hero, being in three movies. But then he decided to quit. He told us he was continuing his trading with his Beartic. He then told us that the boulders could've caused by Pokémon hunters. He showed us his training and ash decided to train with Korkorok. Grim did with gligar. They training went well, for grim and gligar. but they faced the Pokémon hunter. They dealt with them and gave them to officer Jenny and They made it to the city. Now they face the gym and Korkorok and Zoroak were ready to go.
Ash: alright looking good Korkorok
Grim: you too zoroak
Iris: don't forget, Beartic offer up some serious and aggressive battling, there will be no holding back today
Cilan: good point , I detect the pungent aroma of an unforgettable matches
Ash: awesome let's get to the gym
Grim: and win our gym badge.
Korkorok: Korkorok
Zoroak: zoroak
Pikachu: pikachu
Axew: Axew
Gligar: gligar
They all head for the gym badge. And as the doors open they all charge in expect iris. They all feel the cold temperatures, forgetting it's an ice type gym, but they look an see that iris was in an full winter clothes. It didn't stop ash and grim to charge in. But the floor was covered in ice as they fall to the ground. Then a light shine past and above the field to brycen.
Ash/Grim: hey am
Brycen: greetings, welcome to my gym ice castle, I've been waiting for you ash and grim
Ash: great and thanks for having us.
Brycen:I can see the fire in your eyes. So then, what do you think of my frozen battlefield, ice types are my specialty. For that reason I design the entire gym as a solid field of ice. And now you stand before me two lone trainers surrounded by battle challenge
Ash: I'm not alone, I got my Pokémon with me
Grim: and there's nothing we can't do together
Pikachu: pika
Korkorok: korko
Gligar: gli
Zoroak: zor
Brycen: good answer, now your task is to see how much heat you and your Pokémon can bring to my icy world, I gladly accept your challenge.
Ash: hm
Grim your up ash.
They high five as the others go to the stands.
The battle had won and ash got his gym badge. Now it was grims turn.
Ash: good luck grim
Grim: thanks
Referee: battle begin.
Grim: zoroak get ready to rumble
Zoroak appears on the stage.
Zoroak: zoroak
Brycen: vanilite
Brycen calls out vanilite.
Grim: zoroak use night slash
Zoroak claws glows and charged at the floating Pokémon.
Brycen: astonish
Vanilite sends a dark relegation at zoroak, it caused zoroak to fall back.
Grim: then use shadow ball
Brycen: icicle Spear
Vanilite fires the spears at zoroak. The attacks collided creating a large smoke, but through that smoke to spears burst through. Zoroak dodged the first one but the second hit his arm. He holds it groaning a bit.
Brycen: now blizzard
Grim: use protect
Zoroak protected from blizzard but the attack hits through cowers half his body.
Brycen: use mirror shot
It fires a orb that hits zoroak. He slides back drained.
Grim: return bud
Zoroak goes back into his Pokémon
Brycen: nothing to be ashamed of, now so me your next Pokémon.
Grim: scrafty get ready to rumble.
Scrafty comes out and smashed the ground.
Grim: scrafty use hi jump kick
He throws the kick but vanilite dodged it, scrafty landed on the ground holding his leg.
Grim dont give up, use zen headbutt.
Scrafty crest glows and charges at vanilite, it tried to dodge but he was to fast. Vanilite landed in the ground but hovers up.
Brycen: use icicle spear
Grim; charge through with zen headbutt
They broke through all the spears and hits vanilite one more time.
Brycen: use blizzard
Grim: hold yourself and use drain punch
Scrafty slowly walks to vanilite but then runs fast and throws the punch. Uppercutting vanilite to fainting.
Referee: vanilite is unable to battle, scrafty is the winner.
Grim: way to go scrafty
Scrafty: scraft
Brycen: impressive, you have a lot of spirit. Now Cryogonal.
Cryogonal Appears before them.
Grim: alright let's go scrafty, use hi jump kick
He charges but then
Brycen: rapid spin.
Cryogonal Spins around and scrafty gets caught in the spin and spun around. He was thrown back as the spin kept hitting hi repeatedly.
Grim: use crunch
He bites the spin but sends them back.
Brycen: now aurora beam
He fires the beam and it hits. The dust settles and scrafty was fainted.
Referee: scrafty is unable to battle and Cryogonal is the winner.
Grim returns scrafty.
Grim: thanks bud. Now darmanitan get ready to rumble.
Darmanitan: darmanitan
Brycen: a fire type like pignite and ash
Grim: now darmanitan use flare blitz
Darmanitan charges at Cryogonal.
Brycen: use reflect
Cryogonal Body becomes reflected as the attack hits. But it does nothing. The move cut the attack in half.
Grim: use Flamethrower
Brycen: rapid spin
Cryogonal Dodged the hits darmanitan.
Brycen: frost breath go
Cryogonal Fires the attack at darmanitan.
Grim: not yet darmanitan
Brycen: now use rapid spin.
As he charged grim smirk.
Grim: now psychic.
Darmanitan enters zen mode and stops Cryogonal in its tracks. It slams him into the ground. Darmanitan gets out of the mode to see it wedge in the ground.
Grim: now hammer arm
Darmanitan swings a powerful hammer arm sending Cryogonal out of the ground, into some walks and in front of brycen fainted.
Referee: Cryogonal is unable to battle the winner is darmanitan.
Brycen returns Cryogonal.
Brycen: impressive, now for my third Pokémon, the white lord of ice Beartic come forth
Beartic appears on the field standing up. It's size and presence startled darmanitan.
Brycen: from the beginning you've showed the bonds between you and your Pokémon, now it's our turns.
Beartic: Beartic
Grim: well let's do this, darmanitan flare blitz
Darmanitan slowly gets up.
Brycen: use icicle crash.
Beartic fires the attacks as they hit. He slowly gets up tired.
Grim: hold on darmanitan
Gligar: gligar
Brycen: use aerial ace
Grim: hammer arm
He hits aerial ace but the attacks pass through. The stand behind each other. But then darmanitan falls to the ground fainted.
Referee: darmanitan is unable to battle Beartic is the winner
Grim: thanks darmanitan we got this.
Darmanitan: darmanitan
Gligar: gligar
He returns darmanitan and calls out his last Pokémon.
Grim: zoroak get ready to rumble.
Zoroak appear fine from his damage.
Grim: let's do this zoroak use night daze
Brycen: icicle crash
Zoroak fires the attack and destroys the attack. It hit Beartic sliding him back.
Grim: night slash let's go
Zoroak charges at Beartic.
Brycen: Beartic ice punch
The fist and slash collided sending both back by explosion, but then he sees his arm is frozen.
Zoroak: zor
Brycen: now what will you do, use brine
He fires brine.
Grim: block is they you arm.
Zoroak holds his arms and blocks it. The attack breaks frees his arm,
Grim: now shadow ball.
He fire the attack and hits Beartic.
Grim: now one more night slash.
As he charge Beartic did nothing. He dodged at the last second.
Brycen: grab zoroak
He does so and sound him around.
Brycen: now throw it
He throws him into some rocks. Zoroak burst out the rubble. He roars showing his spirit.
Grim: I just realized, zoroak never got much battling when it was zorua, but now he can finally get stronger, that's why he doesn't want to quit, show I won't either.
Ash: yeah go zoroak
Iris: you can do it
Cilan: this battle will be booming eight spirit.
Brycen: very good, now use that pasion, and try to defeat us.
Beartic: Bear
Beartic roars as does zoroak.
Grim: shadow ball let's go
Brycen: icicle crash.
The attacks counter each other.
Grim: now night slash with illusion
Zoroak charges at Beartic with multiple forms of himself.
Brycen: aerial ace
Beartic charges at the multiple zoroak. They attacks collide with a massive explosion.they went past each other and landed. There was a breif silence until zoroak takes a knee. Then Beartic falls to the ground.
Zoroak: zoroak
Referee: Beartic is unable to battle, zoroak wins, which means the victory goes to grim.
Grim: we did it zoroak
Zoroak: zoroak
He nods and falls to the ground, tired.
Grim: you did well buddy.
Later they, they were presented the badges.
Brycen: he and you shows true barreling sport grim. It seems zoroak finally taped its potential. And so for both of your wins, I present the freeze badge.
Ash: thanks brycen
Grim: yeah thanks,
Ash: I just got the freeze badge
Grim: so did I!
The Pokémon cheer as well. They place them in their badge case. Brycen Then informs us of a gym in Opelucid City, which made iris shocked. He said it was perfect for us. We decided to get out gym and badge their. Now with their seventh badge it's off to Opelucid City, for their last gym battle into the unova league, as the journey continues.
