"happy birthday to you! happy birthday to you! happy birthday dear na jiyeong! happy birthday to you!"
the young mother leaned over to the cake and made a pout to demonstrate how she should blow her candles. the younger followed after and did what her mother did too.
everyone cheered and clapped, yelling all types of praises. the now one year old baby giggled and clapped her hands aswell, just as proud of herself.
"my mini nana is finally one years old!" jaemin smiled. solbin placed a palm on her mouth as her eyes teared up. jaemin noticed this and wrapped a arm on her shoulder.
"she grew up so fast." she said with a smile at her daughter who was now lightly licking the cream on her fingers.

- her first steps
the little one year old sat on the floor as she watched her mother type on her laptop continuously like she'd never stop.
she had coffee next to her but it seemed to be her fifth cup today. you could tell she was exhausted but still had to work.
jiyeong turned her gaze from her mother to the tiled floor.
a curious pout landed on her lips as she placed both her hands on the ground to support herself to stand up.
"solbin, you done yet?" jaemin asked as he walked into the dining area where solbin was busy and jiyeong was playing.
he leaned over his girlfriend and listened to her explain her assignment for uni, trying to help her the best he could as the girl just entered college.
jiyeong on the other hand, was now standing straight. she had her little arms streatched out to balance herself and took small steps.
she took just three steps before falling on her bottom on the cold, hard floor. the little one got a little frustrated and tried again, taking small steps.
her first few times were a fail as she kept loosing balance and falling again. not hard tho, just a light fall on her buttocks.
pouting in concentration, jiyeong got up again and used the wall for support aswell.
"mama!" she yelled as she fell on the ground once again. solbin and jaemin turned their attention to the baby who had the most focused expression.
she stood on her two tiny feet again, hands out as she balanced and she took five small steps before falling again.
the two parents eyes widened as they gasped. solbin immediately stood from her seat and squealed.
"my baby just took her first steps!"
jaemin ran to the confused jiyeong and picked her up. "did nana just walk?" he smiled as he watched the baby nod her head in slight understanding.
solbin leaned over and placed a kiss on her cheeks. "mommy and daddy are so proud of you!" she smiled.
the parents were obviously excited. they've tried for weeks to try teach jiyeong to walk like holding her arms to support and help her walk.
so seeing her actually walk without their help made them ecstatic.
jiyeong giggled seeing her parents so happy, mimicking her father's smile.

solmin/jaebin (solbin & jaemin)
- first date
"how do i look?" solbin asked ger friends as she looked at herself in the mirror.
"hot." ryujin said making dahee slap her girlfriend's shoulder. "what?! i was just complimenting her." she rubbed her now sore arm.
"ignore them solbin. you looks stunning. jaemin will be blown away." chaeryeong reasured.
solbin couldn't help but smile at the compliments she got from her friends.
"thanks guys. i'm just really nervous. i mean, it's our two year anniversary." she wiggled her arms and legs to shake off her nerves.
"exactly. that's why you gotta look hot." dahee placed both her hands on solbin's shoulder. "ow!" she cried, feeling a slap on her arm from ryujin.
"payback."
solbin rolled her eyes at the two's bickering and stared at the mirror again.
you look good, solbin. don't stress yourself.
"why thank you, kind gentlemen." solbin smiled as jaemin pushed in her chair for her.
jaemin chuckled lightly and walked to his seat himself.
after the waiter got us our menu, jaemin started to go through it while solbin gazed around the restaurant. it looked rather expensive. fancy, clean, just perfect.
many people were there but they looked like rich families and people obviously older than them.
not to mention the menu! it had all types of foods ranging from salads, burgers, pizzas, pastas, steaks. all types of varieties and deserts, some solbin has never even seen in her life!
"jaem...don't you think this is a little too much? like the food here is really expensive." solbin bite the tip of her long nail polished nail, unsure.
jaemin gazed at her from his menu and flashed a reassuring smile. "don't worry, i'll manage."
they soon got their order taken amd chatted for the time being.
as solbin talked, jaemin just stared at her, humming occasionally from her story. he gave her the most gentle gaze and looked at her like she was the most beautiful thing he's ever seen in his life.
"jaemin!" the said male snapped out of staring at the other and looked up in confusion. the waiter was giving them their food but jaemin was spacing out.
"did i ever tell you how beautiful you look tonight?" jaemim suddenly said making solbin almost choke on her drink.
she let out a light laugh. "wow, so suddenly. but i try." she shrugged with a small smirk.
jaemin gave her the most lovesick look. he loved her smile and laugh. it could make anyone automatically smile aswell as she spreads this positive energy, everywhere she can.
while eating, solbin spoke as she ate telling jaemin all kimds of stories they couldn't share as they were both busy with school and work aswell as jiyeong.
"still can't believe daejun did that- are you even listening?" solbin stopped talking, noticing how jaemin was looking elsewhere, making faces as if he were talking to someone.
jaemin looked at her and noticed her slight annoyed expression. "oh uh yeah. i was." solbin wasn't convinced and instead stared at him, giving him a look.
"then what was my last sentence?" jaemin immediately got panicked and tried to pick his memory. "um...food,"
solbin sighed and leaned back. "what are you even looking at." she turned her head to peak only for jaemin to quickly grab her chin, turning her head his direction.
"nothing haha.." solbin decided to give it up and just let him be.
after a good hour or two of eating and chatting, jaemin suddenly stood up grabbing solbin's hand.
"i wanna show you something." he said as he practically dragged solbin to the door.
"what? why? where?" solbin asked. jaemin ignored her and continued to guide her to the back door.
turning around, jaemin had a piece of cloth in his hands. "okay. i'm gonna blindfold you. only take it off when i tell you." he stood behind her.
"woah. what do you plan on doing? murdering me?" she joked as he blindfolded her. "we'll see."
though solbin knew it was obviously a joke, she couldn't help but feel nervous of what was happening. the male has been acting rather odd the whole evening like spacing out and barely paying attention to anything.
soon solbin's eye sight was gone and all she could see was darkness from the cloth over her eyes.
i hope this doesn't smudge my eye make-up.
then she felt jaemin's hands in her's, guiding her with easy steps to the place he wanted her.
she was uneasy cause she was blindfolded and wearing heels so she couldn't see anything and could fall easily.
suddenly, jaemin let go of solbin and stepped a little back until she couldn't hear his footsteps anymore.
"TAKE OFF YOUR BLINDFOLD!" she could hear jaemin's familiar voice from the distance.
solbin did as told and took off the blindfold. her eyes widened at what she saw.
fairy lights hung on trees, an arch at the end of a pavement decorated with flowers, lights and petals. a small sign was stuck to the ground and read "follow the petals!"
solbin complied and followed the trail on flowers on the ground but her eyes looked around the beautiful venue.
and finally she made it to the archway that was also decorated with pink roses, daisies, lavenders and lights.
there by the archway, was a wall with lights filled with pictures hung on the lights. they weren't just any picture but they were pictures of all jaemin and solbin's moments together that were lucky enough to be photographed.
it went from photos of the two when they first became closer to pictures of solbin through her pregnancy and then pictures of jiyeong.
solbin's fingers brushed over the pictures so lightly as if the were so fragile. a smile etched her lips as memories rushed over her.
"solbin" the said girl lifted up her head from the frame and looked over at the person calling for her.
jaemin stood before solbin with a smile on his lips.
"jaemin...did you do this?" the asked in a hushed voice. jaemin took her hands in his and stared down at them, rubbing his thumb on the back of her palm.
"yeah. do you like it?" solbin immediately nodded. "i love it! how'd you come up with it?"
just then, jaemin let out a shaky sigh from nerves and tightened his grip on her warm hands.
"it came up with it from wanting to do something special for you." he finally looked up at her.
"solbin, we've been dating for two year now and i have to say, it's been the best two years of my life. we've went through so many struggles through your pregnancy, your birth and even raising jiyeong to the beautiful princess she is now. it's been rough with school and such but we still managed to stay together and get even stronger. and look at this, now we're actually at our 2 year anniversary. it's a huge milestone." jaemin sighed.
"solbin, i really, truly love you and plan to spend the rest of my life with you so," he suddenly kneeled down and snuck a small black box from the pocket of his pants. he opened it, revealing a small diamond ring placed there.
"will you marry me?"
solbin gasped, jaemin's hand still in hers but the other one over her mouth. tears welled up in her eyes. she couldn't believe this. na jaemin wanted to marry her. he was proposing to her! his little speech was enough for her now this?
"yes! yes, i'll marry you!" she yelled, nodding continuously. jaemin's smile just became bigger as he slipped the ring on solbin's finger and hugged her right after.
solbin had her arms wrapped around jaemin's neck as her feet were lifted from the ground by jaemin.
she was crying- no, sobbing from happiness.
yes, they were young but they were ready for this. they didn't plan on getting married now, later in the future when they have the money and everything.
it was never too early after all.

the wedding
three years.
solbin has waited three years for this day to come. the day she'd finally marry the love of her life, na jaemin.
a smile crept on her face at the thought as the makeup artist did her makeup.
"excited for your big day?" ryujin asked as she caught solbin smiling as her hair was being done.
everyone was in the makeup room. doing their makeup, doing their hair, getting dressed, etc. the room was filled with both happiness and stress.
"do i look good?!" yuna kept asking chaeryeong who was already struggling to zip up her bridesmaid dress.
"can't you see i'm busy?" she sassed back making yuna frown and fold her arms. "i was just asking!"
dahee couldn't help but sigh and pinch the bridge of her nose from annoyance of the two's arguing.
"yah! you two, stop arguing already! you're acting like literal children!" she started to scold the two.
solbin sighed as she saw the fight between her friends.
"stressed but very excited." she smiled at ryujin who had now finished doing her hair
jaemin's pov
"gosh, calm down, jaemin! you're making the rest of us stress out." donghyuck complained as he fixed his tie.
jaemin tried to shake off his nerves and taking deep breathes. he kept fixing his already fine suit and touching up on his hair constantly.
"sorry but i'm just really nervous." mark lightly patted his back in comfort.
"yo...uh calm down. like you'll be fine. it's your big day, don't stress yourself out too much!" he tried to comfort. jaemin glanced at his hyung and nodded.
"yeah...no stress."
...
talking and chatter along with music filled the big wedding. smiles and laughter were the only solbin wanted to hear.
"momma!" the four year old called for her mother, a piece of paper in her hand. solbin looked down at jiyeong who had a smile on her face.
she handed her mother the paper revealing a drawing from her crayons. the twenty one year old smiled seeing the drawing of a man wearing a suit labelled 'daddy' at the top of his head and a woman in a big white dress labelled 'momma' at the top her head. this between them was a smaller girl in a white dress aswell labelled 'me, jiyeong' at the top her head.
solbin couldn't help but smile, jaemin leaning over her shoulder to see the drawing too.
"wow, you did this, nana?" jaemin asked as he took the paper. jiyeong nodded excitedly, very proud of herself.
"good work, jiyeongie!" he picked her up and sat her on his lap and gave her a big high-five.
"um...excuse me!" solbin stood up and yelled out, clinking her spoon on a glass to catch the people's attention.
the wedding hall became quiet as they waited for what solbin had to say.
a shaky sigh left her lips as she felt nervous with all the attention on her, her anxiety creeping in.
"i wanted to announce that...a few weeks ago i was feeling odd like throwing up and weird mood swings." she breathed in a breathe.
"so i took a pregnancy test and...i'm pregnant!"
gasps were heard then cheers and screams erupted in the hall again.
jaemin immediately engulfed solbin in a hug and ofcourse she hugged him back. jiyeong looked around confused.
"auntie dahee, what's a pregat?" she asked dahee who kneeled infront of her. "it's pregnant, sweetie. and it means that you're gonna have a little brother or sister!"
jiyeong gasped dramatically and clapped her little hands. "i'm gonna have a baby sibling!" she jumped in excitement.
jaemin and solbin pulled away and stared at eachother's eyes, their foreheads against eachother as they smiled.
"i love you." jaemin said.
"i love you too."
