"I'm not fucking c-crying!"
"Seems like you are- oh my good thing I have a tissue with me, here!"
Saeron aired a laugh, taking the tissue before wiping her eyes with it. Jisung didn't know what to do, thinking that he'd messed up real bad as to his first time properly confessing to someone.
"Are you okay? Do you need water? I can get you water there's a store closeby-"
"Yes."
"Okay, I'll be right back with a bottle and a pack of tissu-"
His quick words were then cut off when a chuckle left her lips while shaking her head at his misunderstanding, looking down to her aarm palms wrapping his.
"That's not what I meant, Ji" Saeron softly said, the other palm had found its way to cup his cheeks.
Jisung felt his stomach churn, his eyes widening.
It's not what he thought it was, right?
"What?" Jisung asked again to assure that what he took it as.
"Yes, I'll make you the happiest person in the world, Jisungiee~" she cooed, now pinching his cheek out of cuteness, "I'll be your girlfriend."
His lips slowly turned to an 'o', grabbing her hands to hold it tightly and looked at her in pure shock.
"Wait- what the- Sae, are you serious?"
"Uhh yeah?"
Jisung took no time to wrap his arms around her small figure, easily scooping her up before spinning in circles and giggles rang through the air. The boy was past the term 'happy', if there were any better adjectives to describe his feelings right now it'd probably be 'overjoyed'.
"Thank you, thank you!" he mumbled, still spinning around with the girl squeezed in his embrace.
"You can put me down now!" Saeron exclaimed as the boy stopped before placing her back down where she stumbled.
"Fuck I'm dizzy-", Saeron shut her eyes while massaging her forehead and her so-called boyfriend laughed.
"Sorry not sorry," he sassily said, flipping his non-existent hair causing the girl to roll her eyes.
"Oh wow- I just took you in as a boyfriend and you're being sassy already?"
"For damn sure I am."
Another eruption of laughter was heard, and Jisung just couldn't believe what's happening. Saeron accepted his confession and is feeling the same way and now she's his girlfriend?
Damn, if my childhood self had known that he'll date his crush- he'd be way far from the word depression.
Her arms snaked around his tiny waist, clasping it behind his back as she gazed up at his features. Jisung looked down to see her own, giving her a small smile before his palms cupped her cheeks, lightly grazing his thumb on her silky smooth skin.
It was a first time for them to be this close to each other, faces only inches apart from touching and their hearts beated a million times faster.
They held eye contact when Jisung chose to bream it as his face slowly inched closer.
Saeron didn't move, trying to act calm when her insides were basically churning.
And there's when their lips brushed where they hesitated at first, but eventually gave in as their lips moved in sync. It was passionate and soft, full of love where their feelings grew ever since the very start.
The atmosphere juxtaposed from how it was before- in a snap, to where it had immediately turn hotter as they fell deeper into each other's warmth.
His hands ran down from her cheeks to clasping it inbetween her fingers, which Saeron couldn't help but smile at between the kiss.
It was surreal, way too far from what these two had expected- not this much at least.
They pulled away before resting their foreheads and eyes not leaving each other's. Holding it for a few seconds, and the couldn't hold but burst out laughing.
"What the fuck just happened," Saeron held her stomach from laughing by both shocked and happiness, Jisung doing the same.
"At least you're not crying anymore," he slightly bent down to search for her face, and it's obviously red.
"Oh my god my face feels hot"
"Uhh yeah it's still red"
"I'm not crying tho right? Can you still see the tears?"
Saeron froze on her spot as Jisung started squinting his eyes to see any tears falling from hers, but then shook his head before straightening his posture.
"You're fine," he ruffled her hair, for once he shared a genuine and loving smile, that the girl couldn't get enough of.
"You should smile more, baby."
"Oh stop-"
"Stop what?"
"Kim Sae, stop"
"Stop what baby?~"
"Yah!"
Saeron cracked a laugh when the boy infront of her was blushing like an actual maniac, leaving him speechless.
And the sweet sesh was finally broken by a loud popping noise, confetti sprinkling over their heads followed by familiar screams.
Saeron flinched at the surprise, yet knowing damn well who it was just by his scream.
"Of course Hyuck's here-"
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY FAVORITE COUSIN-" was all Donghyuck said before crashing his body to Saeron's, causing the poor girl to stumble on her feet from the sudden force.
"Hyuck- I can't breathe-" Saeron gasped for air and the well-known fuckboy untangled himself from the shorter girl, was about to speak until his eyes met the burning ones from the younger- but taller boy who stood beside Saeron.
Eyes signaling Donghyuck to back off, but the tanned one couldn't help but giggle at how Jisung gets easily jealous.
"My cousin, young guy" Donghyuck reminded in a sassy manner and Jisung exhaled, allowing Renjun to pat his back telling the boy to chill out.
"Bestieee~ Happy birthday babyyyy" Taeri cooed, yanking Donghyuck away to hug the birthday girl.
"What the fuck-" Donghyuck murmured, but shrugged before skipping towards Jisung to bother the young boy.
"Thankyou Taetaee," Saeron gave her finger hearts to which Taeri gave back.
Chaeyong suddenly came to sight while holding a birthday cake with lit candles, singing as the others followed along.
The cake was infront of Saeron face when Chaeyong urged, "Make a wish!"
The girl closed her eyes, folding her palms covering her mouth as she started praying, blowing the candles after and everyone cheered.
"Happy birthday kiddo," Jaemin shook her hand with a smile.
"Congratulations," Renjun nonchalantly said while shaking her hand and Saeron furrowed her brows.
"Uhh, for what?"
"For having a succesfully-puberti-ed boyfriend and for being a year older."
The puzzled girl only blinked her eyes, "Succesfully puber- the fuck Jun?"
They laughed at the joke tho.
It took her a while to realize the woman standing with them the whole time, watching as they joked around and be happy, reminding of her good ol' days.
"Momm," Saeron ran to her mother who had her arms folded on her chest with a cheeky smile.
"I guess my little Saeron's not little anymore, huh?" Taehee raised a brow, causing the daughter to whine at her mother's remarks.
"Is this why you called me here?"
"Mhm. I may be old, but I'm down for surprises. Oh and I got to work together with your friends- it was so much fun!"
"Woww mom, you're a young soul trapped in a woman's body"
"You bet I am."
"AUNTY TAEHEE IS SAERON BOTHERING YOU CAUSE I WON'T HESITATE"
Donghyuck ran and shimmied himself between the two girls who originally had their arms around each other, squinting his eyes at Saeron who had her eyes rolled back in annoyance by his existence.
"She's doing fine, Donghyuck" Taehee pinched his fluffy cheeks and he pouted while rubbing the stinging area. "Go away now," Saeron playfully shoved him off and the boy snorted.
"YOOOOOO look at my youngest bro here you guys! He's not a poor little single guy anymore"
"Shut up Mark-hyung"
The amount of pinches Jisung's cheek had received was to the point where it felt numb, but seeing his friends happy made him happier.
"Yo sungie-"
"Only she's allowed to call me that, Donghyuck"
"You still have no respect for me"
"Never"
Jisung stuck his tounge out causing the others to laugh at Donghyuck's speechless phase.
"Anyway, as I was saying."
"Hm?"
"Don't you even dare hurt her once."
Opposing to his usual sassy tone, this one came out rather serious as his eyes were blaring at the younger, verbally warning him to do as he says.
Donghyuck couldn't risk the girl that he realized- had feelings for, getting hurt by some cold ass boy he just met months ago. A boy that'd him angered at his first day of school.
Donghyuck stayed silent about his feelings though, he wouldn't dare tell anyone about it since he was known as the fuckboy as well as thr playboy of the whole damn school.
And to tell her now? God there's no way, it's his cousin we're talking about here- not biological though but still.
Nah as much as I hate this young kid, I ain't ruining his life, he told himself for months.
Jisung, for the first time, gave Donghyuck a genuine and assuring smile and a hand landed on the older's shoulder.
"I gotchu man," Jisung winked, snapping his finger to it ending pointing at Donghyuck.
None of them had ever seen Jisung start some sort of skin contact with him, which caught them in shock. Donghyuck responded with a playful slap on Jisung's cheeks and laughed.
"Damn- the glow up tho," Taeri whispered to Chaeyong who had a happy face plastered since they arrived, and she nodded in agreement.
"I dig this shit," Renjun proudly murmured.
"Okay! Time to eat, children!" Taehee yelled, instantly getting attention from the others as they cheered.
"Uuuu, your treat?" Jisung nudged his now-girlfriend who stood next to him, and she stuck her tounge out but giggled after.
"Ya ya ya, whatever" Saeron lazily said, knowing how much money she'll spend on boxes of pizza. "Thank God, I'm starving!" Taeri exclaimed, and so the gang pushed each other- not being able to wait as they heard the word 'food'.
Everyone happily skipped infront of the couple as they laughed along, the tall boy slowly snaked him fingers to intertwine with her again.
Saeron snapped her head towards their palms, face turning red from being way too nervous than she should be.
"You need to stop turning red," Jisung remarked. "No shit Ji, thanks for telling me again," she sarcastically said, earning a snicker from the taller as he pulled her closer to his body before throwing an arm around her shoulder.
Saeron clicked her tounge, "Hm, starting to get confident I see."
"I see no fault," Jisung shrugged and the girl raised her brow. "Mhm okay cuppycake gumdrop," the nickname made the boy scrunch his nose in disgust
"What the fuck was that?"
"What?"
"That nickna- ew"
"Wooow, I'm offended."
"Get a better one, Sae. I ain't goin around with you calling me that."
"It's cute-"
"Stop flirting and hurry the fuck up? I'm hungry and is looking forward for a treat!" Renjun yelled from the other side with Jaemin tapping his shoulder to calm him down.
"Coming!" Saeron replied as she scurried over, leaving Jisung to let out a satisfying laugh and followed the girl.

"MHM GOOD FOOD," Renjun exclaimed while inhaling his slice of pizza as the others gave him weird looks.
"I highly doubt he ate this past week- slow down Jun" Taeri said and Renjun stopped chewing, leaving his cheeks to puff as he pouted.
"I'm hungry shut the hell up," was all the chinese said before munching his food again, then started choking as a sign of karma.
"Told you."
The teenagers, along with Taehee, were currently resting on Saeron's home enjoying the large feast they ordered a few moments ago.
Let's just say it's a celebration of a day worth remembering.
"Thank you for the food, Aunt Taehee" the blonde, Jaemin said. The woman smiled in return as a 'your welcome' and they continued to eat and talk for the rest of the night.
"We need a drink," Donghyuck snickered, leaning his body towards the girl plopped next to him with a knowing face.
"Omg you have legs, Hyuck. Go grab your own water" Saeron rolled her eyes in annoyance and Donghyuck just gave her an 'are you fucking kidding me' look.
Again the boy signaled, that he was referring towards alcohol and Jaemin immediately interfered.
"Nope. nu-uh no drinks for you, young man."
Donghyuck instantly gave up and pouted, "You're no jaem."
"At least he learns manners."
"I didn't ask for your opinion, Jisung."
The youngest boy lifted his arms in defeat, mumbling incoherent words- mocking the tan, as he shortly backed away from the conversation.
The gang had fun nevertheless, constantly joking about how tiny Renjun is and how Taeri would have times when she wouldn't stop talking about him, leaving the rest of the group screeching.
"Shut up! I was just saying about how irritating he is!"
"ooookay simp."
"Bitch I am not?!"
"Oh come on, your two are fucking cute"
"Kim Saeron can you shush now?"
"You girls know that I can hear everything, right?"
Renjun sat baffled, is his crush actually falling for him?
He didn't realize his cheeks were turning a shade of pink, which Donghyuck caught a glimpse of before he annoyingly started screaming about how Renjun was blushing.
"Haechan, I'm going to end you!" Renjun stumbled on his feet as he chased Donghyuck around the sofa they were sitting at.
"Don't call me that- Renjun stop fucking chasing me, you're goddamn scary!
It was entertaining, probably not for certain people but at least the newly formed couple was enjoying it.
One thing that wouldn't change throughout the whole night was how Jisung kept his presence close to his girlfriend's, not leaving her out of sight as he wouldn't stop stealing glances at her.
The boy was so deeply in love that he's sure no one could ever describe it in words. His system was compressed with the ecstasy he'd never gotten in his life, a hole that only The Kim Saeron could fill.
He's not even gonna lie, Jisung was kept bewildered by the truth they're together now- nor does Saeron.
Starting as seatmates, one catches feelings and then the other, and now they're together?
If one could read minds, they'd be dazed reading these two's. Their emotions were that twisted- in a good way.
"I'm happy, Sae" Jisung mumbled out of nowhere which caught the girl in awe. "And why is that, pwark?" she imploredand Jisung just shrugged.
"I don't know, Love. You tell me?" his deep voice enough to accentuate his words in her ears.
"Lucky for you, I'm possibly the happiest girl in the world right now," Saeron gave him her infamous crescent-moon eyes as she smiled, a part of her that Jisung loves the most of course.
"Okay lovebirds, thank you for the show tonight."
