A/n: alright what the fuck? You guys suck. When I used Enchantment table language, the translators were worshipped and now, that I do the translation myself, they're left without job. What do I do now? Not to mention that some of you started learning the language to understand the text written, now, they'll probably stop learning that as well. And, some of you are teasing me now, saying shit like: 'whatever happened to sadistic Blobby?'

1. I'll be using the enchantment table language like before and won't be translating shit for you. You guys will be depending on yourself or translators solemnly.

Y/n avoided the lava pools the best she could, Philza doing the same.
Now, that they were closer to the Egg, they could register the person standing in front of the Egg.
Y/n stopped abruptly, stilling, recognizing the person.
It was Bad.
And as if sensing their presence, Bad swirled around, facing them with a huge smile on his face.
"Oh! Welcome! How lovely it is to see you here! Are you here to join the eggpire?"
"Bad, don't even dream of it."
Y/n sneered, glaring at the demon.
Bad's smile faltered immediately, replaced by a deep frown.
"Then, what are you doing here?"
"You know, just checking up on the Egg."
"Oh, so you care-"
"To see when it'll be worthy of being an omelette."
A laugh escaped Philza at the snarky remark, causing Y/n to grin.
Bad huffed out a sigh, shaking his head.
"I'm afraid, that it won't be happening. Why are you so against the Egg? Why won't you just join us? We're happy here! You'll be happy as well!"
"We're happy as we are, right now. We don't need anything else."
Y/n spoke up again, taking a step forward to examine the demon closely.
"Tell me, Bad, are you really happy?"
"Well, of course I am!"
Bad exclaimed, spreading out his arms, scanning her face.
"Do you have everything that you need?"
"Yes?"
"How about Skeppy?"
The demon stuttered into silence, looking down at his feet.
"Or do you not want him by your side?"
The demon didn't respond this time as well.
"Or are you just guilty that he's corrupted because of you?"
"I-"
"Tell me, Bad. Why do you think he left?"
"Tell me Bad, does the Egg really give you everything you want?"
This was a pure manipulation.
When did she learn to do that?

"Y/n, mate-"
Philza tried to stop her, placing a hand on her shoulder, only for her to shake it away with a frown.
What happened to her?
Just then, she blinked, snapping out of it.
"Phil? Are we done here?"
"Uh- yes, yes, just- let's go."
He didn't want her to go even further than that.
She nodded hesitantly, glancing back at the demon, who was stunned with her attitude.
Something happened, that's for sure.
Even Philza realised that now.
She walked ahead, Philza trailing behind her, deep in his thoughts.
First, her attitude towards XD was not the best and it switched to positive so quickly, that it was clear that there was something wrong.
Now, this.
She wasn't like that before.

A frown ghosted XD's features, his lips pulled into a thin line.
"What's wrong with this realm?"
He questioned himself, observing the pages of the books he was given by Kristin, about the realm of hers.
They were all from the great Soul library and the information held in them was only about the causes and solutions of the outbreak.
But his mind was swimming elsewhere, he was unable to focus on what he was reading.
He shook his head.
He needed to focus.
For her sake.
"I'll start with this one."
He picked the random book he was given to read and flipping through the pages, careful to not rip them.
XD read the new information, processing every bit of it in order to understand the given issue of the realm.
Something about the Other Side was mentioned but it was very brief and confusing.
He needed to learn more about it.
XD made a note about it, flipping the pages further, seeking more details.

He mumbled, closing the book after reading all of it's pages, getting another one in his hands.
"Wonder if Kristin made any progress."
You see, Kristin was reading some of such books as well in order to quicken the shared progress.
They needed to find the solution, before it gets too late.

Y/n hummed, walking closer to Phil, leaving Steve's side
"Are you feeling well, Y/n?"
"Yes? What's up with you asking me that every day?"
"Just- just tell me. Are you okay? You seemed a little off back there."
Phil stated, voice laced with concern.
"Phil, I'm fine. Nothing is wrong, you don't have to worry about me, old man."
He breathed out a sigh of defeat, looking away from Y/n.

"I do, gramps, you overthink shit. Always. But seriously, I'm fine, okay?"
Y/n reassured him with a smile and gentle shoulder squeeze to convince him.
