Mr Eko is 41 years old, and he lives with 1 wife and 2 children who are under 10 years old. He has the ability to assemble sensors. He is very friendly, and has a high passion when it comes to hardware. I prefer to discuss with him when I have a problem regarding the selection of components to be produced, because the components purchased must match the list for making reports in the proposal. He was always a patient listener, and was always interested in my explanations.
In contrast to Mr. Drajat, he understands the software better. Once I was offered to learn programming with him. But I think I'd rather write a lot of proposals than write a program. Not rejecting the knowledge. But I'm not the type of person who is patient with problems when programming errors, I'd better learn other sciences. Mr. Drajat is about 45 years old, but I don't know for sure. Also, he already has a wife and 1 son who is in high school. For Mr. Drajat, his desk is not far from me. But he prefers to go to the technician's room. He is also a friendly, and calm person.
Regarding Mr. Satya, he is a little young from the look on his face. I'm not sure how old he is now. It's probably around 40 years old too, because he looks a little young compared to Mr. Eko and Mr. Drajat. Rere also said that he already has a wife and 1 child who is still a toddler. When it comes to proposals and tenders, he is the most enthusiastic, and even likes to work overtime to complete reports or check on technicians in assembling tools directly. He is also very quick to respond when dealing with data, or quickly find problems that occur when the equipment being tested has an error.
The leaders and technicians of this company are three of them. There are also temporary employees but it's a group of technicians who are only called in when there's a big project and need them. I really salute the three of them. I've been working here for 3 months, and the drone project is ready to be marketed. In fact, they can assemble more than 50 drones in a week. Within 2 months, drone marketing nationally generated a 5 times profit from capital.
When I and they talked about marketing, they were very enthusiastic about my explanation. I suggest marketing to be done using the social media scale that young people love recently. Then, in each province, we also have official resellers that we form. For this reason, sales at the country level itself are more than sufficient to return the capital spent. Even for the third month, we focus on sales in the overseas realm.
The production of drones has also increased per month. we also provide a 1year warranty according to terms, and buying and selling of tool components, then camping projects to learn programming software and tool assembly for university students, also produce success. Rere, who made the proposal for the program, was also very enthusiastic about managing the process. These 3 months, apart from focusing on assembling drones, they have also succeeded in organizing these activities.
Today is October 27th in my third month of work. Payday, meeting day at the end of the month. The day on which the financial statements and the results of each division.
"Mina, are you ready for a meeting?" asked Rere approaching me.
"Ready or not, wow Rere is very excited today"
"Yaps, then the program for students also benefits us 3 times the capital we spend, so yes, my report is calm," explained Rere happily.
"ok congrats"
"Why is Mina so weak?"
"A little bit hungry, I woke up late, so I didn't have time to snack"
"Ooo, take it easy, for today's meeting outside, in a restaurant"
" are you serious?" I asked
"Yes, Mr. Satya, Mr. Eko, Mr. Drajat, and we will have a meeting outside"
"What about the other divisions?"
"Meeting with other divisions later, Mr. Satya hasn't given a schedule yet"
"So, the meeting is only our scope?".
"Yes, come on", Mrs. Rere asked by pushing me out of the room towards the parking lot.
Rere and I went by car to a Padang restaurant. In my mind, Mr. Satya suddenly asked for a meeting to a restaurant. Usually, a serious atmosphere like in a meeting room.
"Good afternoon Mina", said Mr. Drajat.
" Good afternoon, Sir".
"Wow, today everything is bright, payday," joked Pak Eko.
"Yes sir, moreover, this is treated by the boss," replied Rere.
I was lazy to respond to them, and I just replied with a smile. Not long after, Mr. Satya, appeared from the front door.
"Good afternoon", said Mr. Satya.
"Good afternoon, sir," replied Rere.
"Sorry it's late, have you ordered it yet?" he asked.
"Not yet, sir, I'm waiting for Mr. Satya" joked Mr. Eko.
"Well, just order, you have to wait for me, let's order whatever you want, after eating we chat for a while here" explained Mr. Satya.
I and Rere were just silent, then Mr. Eko went to call the waiter. He ordered Padang rice with all the side dishes. Mr. Drajat laughed out seeing Eko's behavior. You could say Mr. Eko who is super hungry and orders all the menus. Mr. Satya's relaxed but serious style when he talks makes us laugh out sometimes, because his intention is to joke with his speech, but his facial expression is always serious. We can't tell whether He is joking or not.
We waited 15 minutes for the menu to come out, finally it arrived. In front of us, on the table all the side dishes are neatly lined up, maybe there are 10 types of side dishes. I was confused about it all. We, who ate only 5 people, had a lot of side dishes. I slowly gulped, but it felt impolite to precede the meal. The golden yellow of the chicken (Rendang) is really pleasing to the eye, the green of the cassava leaves entices me to take it, and the other side dishes seem to be calling me to eat it. The four of us were just silent watching the food. Waiting for Mr. Satya to come back from washing his hands.
"Let's start eating," ordered Mr. Satya.
"Well sir, waiting for this chairman to start eating, so we look polite," said Mr. Drajat.
The three of us laughed out loud, seeing Mr. Satya's expression confused by Mr. Drajat's sentence. After laughing out loud, we immediately took the side dishes that each of us wanted. I chose Rendang chicken, cassava vegetables, bean sprouts, and a little shrimp. Every grain of rice mixed with coconut milk sauce, which is spicy, savory and sweet is enough to cheer me up today. I've never eaten much in front of them except in front of Rere. "be cool" in my heart.
"Rere and Mina add more side dishes, who is going to finish this," said Mr. Eko.
"Yes sir, take it easy, there are still second and third rounds" replied Rere.
2 sources of entertainment, namely Mr. Eko and Rere, they were busy joking between meals, I only responded with a nod of my head. Mr. Eko is a funny person and likes to talk, so it makes the atmosphere crowded. I just didn't want to respond because I was focused on enjoying my food. Likewise, Mr. Drajat and Mr. Satya. It tastes really good, haven't eaten since morning, and in the afternoon found Nasi Padang. Complete luck today, get a salary and eat well. We enjoyed this dish for almost 1 hour, even the previous prediction that the menu in front of the table did not run out, in the end it ran out too. And what spent, of course, was me and Mr. Eko who always puts the side dishes on my plate. Who refuses this delicious food, especially on an empty stomach from the morning.
Mr. Satya told the waiter to clean up the cutlery we used earlier, he started to invite a meeting at the restaurant.
"Rere, how's the financial data this month?," ask Mr. Satya
"This is the report, sir, for this month around 150 million was entered for the student class program for 3 months, and for the drone project in these 3 months as much as 1.5 billion, it has been cut clean for ordering some components for drones ordered tomorrow month",
"Then how much for this month's expenses?,"
"This month's expenses reached 15 million for student programs, and 200 million for drone components," explained Rere
"Is there anything you want to ask Mr. Drajat and Mr. Eko?, about finances,"
"How much is the total expenditure data for this month related to salary, etc.?" ask Mr. Drajat.
"For the payment of salaries, program support and others as much as 315 million, sir, for the profits that enter this month, the total can be seen on the second page, sir,".
"Okay, I understand," replied Mr. Drajat.
"Alhamdulillah, yes, for the past 3 months we have been working insanely and as a result our company has started to rise," said Mr. Eko.
"Yes sir, who works hard is the one who gets it. And Mina, is there a question or not?," Mr. Satya said.
"I don't have one, sir," I answered briefly.
"Ok, we will discuss the person in charge of activities in the month tomorrow, for Mr. Eko, how is the work of the new employees in the last 2 weeks?".
"For new employees, I have 1 position in the HRD division, 1 office supplies division, 7 employees for technicians, specifically the 7 employees were guided by me and Mr. Drajat in drone assembly, 1 employee in the finance division who also helps Rere in financial data collection, then 4 in the marketing division to check with all resellers and social media, and one more helping Mina in the creative innovative division. As for the employees in the technician's lab, they are starting to become proficient in assembling drones, we thank to Mr Drajat's services in guiding them. The work of the 7 employees is good, even when packing and shipping when they arrive at the seller, there are no complaints yet."
" Rere, how is there a problem or not?" asked Mr. Satya again.
"Financial data collection is safe, and the program for students is running smoothly," said Rere.
"What about Mina?".
"My team is only 1 person, so everything is ok" I replied.
"Okay, that means there's no problem, it's just a process, for the next project there is an offer for an interface program at a bank in a neighboring country, but I will make the proposal, for the project funds tomorrow I will give the data to Rere, and according to you the project what should we do next? please one by one give an idea".
"If I want to focus on developing this drone to be even more sophisticated, after we have succeeded in replacing stick drones with applications on smartphones, camera angles, and backup battery life. I want to add a waterproof feature, such as a smartphone that when exposed to water will not be damaged, how much power the fan wheel has against rainwater, for example, this is still a planning process, I want to research it first, "explained Mr. Drajat.
"That's cool, Mr. Drajat. you can make a report about your plan. How about is Mr. Eko?".
"For me, I don't have any ideas, I only focus on mentoring new technicians and product packaging".
"What about Rere?".
"I hope that there is a local product that we produce digital pens," replied Rere.
"Explain Re" asked Mr. Satya
"Now that there are laptops or cellphones, often the culture of writing on paper is rarely used anymore. Even the voice recording feature can be directly written in word, right. Then how, the aesthetics of writing on paper using a pen are not lost? I imagine the function of a pen is to write on paper, but can be directly connected to word. When we write sentences to paper, automatically with the settings it will also be written in the word that is connected to the tip of the pen that we use to write on paper. For example, we are in a meeting like this, then Mina makes notes on paper, at the same time writing using a pen will be copied in word too. So Mina will not repeat again to type the results of today's minutes, "explained Rere.
"It's from Rere, how about from Mina?" ask again Mr. Satya.
"For me, it's a trash box, but this is not a prolonged project, but it is complete".
"Try to explain" asked Mr. Satya.
"The production of garbage boxes for our country. We realize that, waste handlers in foreign countries have a good system. Like a garbage disposal machine that can make money, and it is done independently by each house or individual. The government only provides modern, clean, and profitable landfills. Given that the production of plastic waste, paper, bottles, and others is a production always being active in human daily life. Moreover, the waste sorter workers, at one point of final disposal they need a lot of time to sort between types of waste, so that every day there is waste production, making the workers unable to handle it. In this tender, we can work with architects to design a trash box according to the type of waste. The task of the creator of technological innovation is to be able to assemble a digital system in the box, in the form of mentoring the type and amount of profitable waste, then from that, everyone who throws garbage in the box will get shopping coupons at the supermarket in collaboration with the waste processing department." I explained.
"Wow, this is a big and profitable project if we can attract investors," said Mr. Eko.
"Yes, is there anything else, Mina?" ask again Mr. Satya.
"from me enough".
"OK, we will implement digital pens and trash boxes."
"How about the division of the team, sir?" asked Mr. Eko.
"I, Mr. Eko and Mina focused on the trash box, then Mr. Drajat and Rere work on a digital pen project," explained Mr. Satya.
"Agree", commented Mr. Drajat.
