𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙙? ❞

HARRYS POV:

I WOULDN'T SAY I DIDN'T feel bad for Olivia in the group chat, because I did. For most parts, I actually agreed with her and not the others.

Even though, Olivia did drink at the party, I would think she remembered what happened. Because I still fucking do.

Not that it's bad, for me.

After Olivia left the group chat, I thought it would be better to hang out together instead of her being in her dorm alone and also me being alone. It kinda sounds depressing, if i'm being honest. But at this point, everyone is depressed.

I didn't think she would actually agree to hang out with me. So when she did, I threw my phone across my bed.

Literally.

I began making my way towards the Slytherin common room until I stopped walking, when I spotted a familiar girl walking towards me, with a smile on her face.

"I know you said you would meet me here," Olivia started as she finally stood in front of me.

I lowered my head to meet here eyes, "But I thought it would be better for me to not wait and meet you here. Plus we would have more time to hang out!"

I chuckle, keeping eye contact as I notice Olivia's cheeks turning light pink. "Really that excited to see me, huh?"

"That, or me just wanting to leave my dorm room today." Olivia smiled, her cheeks turning to normal once I stopped making eye contact.

"I'll take it as you just wanted to see me."

"In your dreams Potter." Olivia nudges my shoulder now that she's standing right next to me.

"Harry." I tell her, walking outside the castle. "Call me Harry, please."

"Okay," she nods looking outside. "Call me Olivia, then."

"Got it." I smile, still walking, even though I don't know where we're going.

"So where are we going?" Olivia asks, looking towards me.

For a second, I thought she could read minds.

"I actually don't know. I was thinking you could pick."

"What about hogsmeade? Buying things make me get things off my mind." Olivia answers, fidgeting with one of her rings on her left hand.

I smile while nodding and start heading towards Hogsmeade while Olivia is turning her phone off. She gets more notifications than me.

I try to start small conversation as we get closer to hogsmeade, but nothing comes out. I look down at my feet, still walking, and still haven't said anything. It makes me feel so fucking stupid, and I don't even know what to do.

I finally look up and turn my face to Olivia, who is looking in awe at the view of Hogsmeade, "Hey, about the group chat earlier today-"

Before finishing my sentence, Olivia interrupts me,
"Harry, it's no big deal, really." She answers smiling weakly towards me.

It is a big deal, trust me.

"Well, I just wanted to say that i'm on your side. Even though we did drink a little too."

Olivia chuckles softly, "Thanks. Good to know we are the only ones who remember."

I think my heart just went 100 times faster than it previously was.

We finally made it to the entrance of hogsmeade, when Olivia stops walking is currently now standing in front of me.

"I was thinking we can go to the book store?" Olivia questions. "I wanted to get some new books that were recently published."

"Yeah sure, whatever you'd like." I smile, motioning my hand towards the bookstore, making Olivia chuckle and shake her head.

We've been inside the book shop for at least 10 minutes. I was starting to get bored but I wasn't going to say anything in front of her. So, I began scanning the different kinds of books that were right in front of me.

"I guess you like romance books." Olivia chuckles, coming behind from me, with a stack of new books.

"Yea-wait no. I didn't see where I was." I nervously respond, starting to get red.

"Hey, it's nothing bad. I personally like romance books." Olivia answers, starting to scan through the books I was just looking through. "In fact, they're the only ones I read."

"Then they must be pretty good." I grin as I look at the stack that Olivia is holding. "Here, let me."

Olivia widens her eyes as if she's confused, but after a moment she smiled and hands me the stack of pretty heavy books.

"Thanks." Olivia looks towards me, with a soft smile.

"No problem," I smile back. "So why so many books?"

She stops looking at the bookshelves and her attention falls back to me. "They're Colleen Hoover books. Pretty much the best romance books anyone can read."

I look down at her books again, "But don't you already have this one?" I point to a white covered book with 'IT ENDS WITH US' at the front of the book.

I quickly noticed the book since it was the book I saw her reading when we first met at the library.

"Yeah, I like keeping two copies. In case I lose one or I want to give one to someone."

I nod as I fix the stack of books from falling from my grip. These books are pretty fucking heavy for paperback books. Maybe Olivia is way stronger than I am, because she didn't even seem to struggle holding these books.

When I finally have the right grip I look up to see Olivia near the cashier. I quickly walk towards her and take out some galloens to pay for the books.

I was who suggested to come hang out.

Olivia notices me taking some galleons out which makes her put her hand on mine to stop me from taking them out.

"It's my pleasure, Olivia." I look up to meet her eyes.

"If I would've known, I would have only gotten one, Harry." Olivia chuckles awkwardly, as we start getting closer to paying.

"But then you wouldn't have had all the best Colleen Hoover books." I joke, trying to argue with Olivia to at least let me pay.

Olivia takes a second before sighing and giving in. We finally make it to the paying area, where I successfully pay without getting stopped by Olivia. I insist on holding the bag but Olivia wins by saying I wouldn't want to be seen with a bag.

When we left the shop we both decide to head towards the Three Broomsticks do get something to drink before going to other places.

Olivia decided to sit all the way towards the back of the shop because there were more space. I actually didn't care whether we were in the front or back. Before we sat down, we got our drinks and payed for them.

I took a sip of my drink before putting it from back on the table, "So when did you realize you liked reading."

Olivia chuckles, "I actually don't know. One day I just decided to read a book out of boredom and from there I kept buying more and more books."

"If only that happened to me." I joke taking another sip from my drink.

"I could help you, if you want," Olivia smiles at me softly. "You just have to have the right book
for you not to stop."

"Right," I chuckle. "I'll have to look more into it."

Olivia nods and turns her head towards the store door. I keep drinking my drink until I see Olivia's eyes widened. I turn to look where she's currently looking at, to see Olivia's friend group walking towards the bar area.

I look back at Olivia, who is still looking at friends. If I were able to read minds, I would think that Olivia wants to leave right this second. But right now, she isn't saying anything.

"So should we leave?" I ask Olivia who turns her attention to me.

"No, it's fine." Olivia says awkwardly, playing with her rings again.

I know it's not fine.

"Why not?"

"Because i'm going to feel really fucking bad," she turns her gaze on her cup. "I don't want us to leave because of my friends, you know."

"Olivia, it's fine. I don't mind."

I gently put my hand under her chin to make her look up to me. I slowly lift her head up. When she's looking right at me I smile softly, to which she returns.

"Now come on," I stand up from my seat and grab Olivia by her hand. " We should get going, because your friends are literally walking towards us right now."

Olivia quickly stands up grabbing the book bag from her seat, and starts running with me towards the back door of the store. We quickly say 'sorry' to people passing by since we did run into many of them.

I can hear Olivia saying 'sorry' to people every second, even though she hasn't ran into them. We keep running until I stop in front of a tree where no one comes these days. Also the tree where my mother would come with my father and hang out.

"What is this place?" Olivia asks as she looks around in awe.

"It's like a hang out spot, I guess. No one really comes here." I answer as I look around the place. I start making my way under the tree and sit down.

Olivia starts to sit next to me, "Well, it sure is beautiful."

"Yeah, it is." I respond, still looking around the place. It starts to grow quiet, so, once again, I start fidgeting with my rings.

Olivia turns her attention towards me, "You know, I fidget with my rings too. My friends get annoyed by it, but I really don't care."

"It just helps with the awkwardness." I chuckle, stopping from playing with my rings and turning to face Olivia, who is already looking at me.

"Here," Olivia says taking one of her rings off. "I want you to have it. It will probably fit you better."

I shake my head, declining the offer. "I'd rather not."

"It's too loose for me, so maybe it won't be loose for you." Olivia smiles as she grabs my hand and slides the ring into my ring finger on the left of my hand. "Plus, it's too late now."

I stayed silent for a few seconds, because I think i'm dreaming.

When I finally come back to life, I start to take one of smallest ring off, "Here." I slide the ring into Olivia's left hand.

Olivia fixes the ring and looks at it, before turning back to me, "Are we engaged now?"

I chuckle and put my hands behind my head to lay down, "Only if you want."

"I would love to, but we should get to know each other more."

Anything to have your company with me longer.

"Who knows, you could be a serial killer and i'm your next victim. We're probably sitting where you burry them." Olivia jokes as she starts sitting cross legged and playing with some flowers.

"Okay then, I'll start." I respond looking up at the sky. "By getting to know each other, not killing you," I joke back.

But for a little moment, I just had to look up to see Olivia looking peacefully playing with flowers that were in the grass.

If i'm being honest, I didn't think one day with a girl I barely met, could be the best day I have ever had my entire time being at Hogwarts.

Literally.
