DATING KEI NAGAI: THE PROS.
(1). . kei's smart, and he's good at balancing things out and never forgetting anything important. you won't ever have to worry about them missing an anniversary or a birthday. if your muse is forgetful && chaotic, kei will be the one wrangling them back in order.
(2). you ever get a paper cut, or maybe even knick yourself with a knife on accident? get a cut? maybe your life is a little more dangerous and you've been shot? nagai has no problem with patching you up — with its abundant medical knowledge, you'll be better in no time. (but don't assume you'll be getting up anytime soon. and expect to be pampered.)
(3). protectiveness. most especially if you're human, kei's always going to be looking after everything you do. they choose the safest routes for their mortal partners and are constantly on the look out for anything that can pose of a threat. if there's anything dangerous going on, he'll be stepping right in front of you to counter it.
(4). you'll always have someone looking out for you. kei cares deeply for the state of their lovers. after all, it doesn't want them to leave him. they may not be the best at it, but nagai has always been consistent; they are willing to be there in whichever way possible, emotionally, mentally or physically. if there's something you need done, nagai's more than reliable.
(5). because of who you are, kei is open to trying new things. they're happy when their partner is happy, so he's willing to do anything to keep you smiling or at least enjoying yourself. all you have to do is ask.
(6). they don't have any extremely traditionalist values, and kei's never had a problem with giving others whatever independence they want. they're not really controlling when it comes to things like how you dress, who you're spending time with, etc. safety is a different story, though.
(7). random acts of appreciation almost daily. you mean a lot to them, but it's probably a bit difficult for them to say it out loud, and kei has always been a man more of actions than words. so expect small gestures of kindness; it packing your lunch, taking care of that errand you've been anxious to complete, cleaning up for you when you're stressed, arranging a bath for you when you get home, things like that.
(8). nobody captures kei's attention like your muse does. they don't love often, but when they do, they love hard. he hates just about everyone else, so stressing over kei choosing someone else over you would be ridiculous. and he'll be sure to let you know this, too. kei nagai only has eyes for you, and it'll be sure your muse is aware of this.
(9). they're very organized, so if you end up living together or something of the sort, kei is sure to keep everything nice and tidy (for its own sanity and yours).
(10). never expect for time not to be made for you. you're one of their #1 priorities, so most of the time, it not all, they're willing to drop anything to give you some extra attention.
(11). gentle headbutts. this is one of the many ways kei shows affection. they will often press his and your muses' foreheads against each other randomly. if you're a human, it tries to be gentle for the most part, but sometimes they get excited and do it a little too hard. if you're not human and can handle more force, expect random, bull-like strength to come crashing into your skull occasionally.
