XD floated next to Y/n, who was about to head out of the cabin, into the freezing cold of the Arctic biome.
"Oh, I just need to mine some stuff. And trade with villagers."
"I can give you anything you want. You don't have to go."
He stopped her, hand on her shoulder.
"You don't have to, XD. But thanks."
Y/n smiled briefly, opening the door and stepping outside. She breathed in the fresh, cold air which stung her lungs for a moment.
"Are you sure?"
XD teleported next to her.
"Mhm."
He frowned, pouting under the mask.
"Can I come with you?"
"Hm, sure? I don't mind."
His pout was replaced with a satisfied smile.
They departed, towards the village of the desert biome, where Foolish resided.
XD frowned, sensing the presence of another God in this area.
"Can we go to another village?"
"Why? We're almost there."
"Just..."
He broke off with a groan.
"Can we? I'll teleport us there myself."
Y/n stopped in her tracks, examining him carefully.
"Tell me what's wrong first."
He huffed a sigh at her stubbornness.
"You- I'm not in best terms with Foolish."

"And you don't wanna go to his land?"
"It's not his land. But yeah, I don't really want to face him. At least not now."

She nodded, gaining a breath of relief from XD.
"I'll teleport us, yeah?"
Another nod in response.
He, oh so gently grasped her hand in his as if she was made from glass and could shatter into billion pieces if he handled her rougher than intended.
In his eyes, she was.

He teleported them to the one particular village within the lands of the SMP, away from the Greater SMP.
It was undiscovered by others.

He knew this one, it offered the best deals so far.

"Here we are. This is the best village to farm resources, so far."

She looked around and not only it looked somewhat different but the spot it was built on was also pretty, surrounded by rich variety of flora.
Green vines were hanging around the structures- houses and workshops, the stone pathway splitting the village into two, the flowers she's never seen in her life, bloomed in the flower beds, releasing a sweet, rich aroma.
Benches, short pillars with torches were scattered all around the land, with cats casually strolling around.
There was quite a large lake right to the left side of the village, boats were seen in the glimmering water of the lake.
The whole village was shielded by mighty spruce tress.
The spot was hidden by the nature itself, as if it didn't want the filthy fingertips of residents of the SMP touching this exact piece of land.
The iron golem strolled around, before seeing the new faces in the village that never really had visitors.
Y/n stiffened a little, after seeing it walking up to her.
XD was silent, knowing that the golem wouldn't hurt her if she didn't harm it first.
And it wouldn't dare to hurt her in his presence.
The iron golem watched her as she waved at it awkwardly.
Then, the golem rumbled slightly, plucking a poppy from the ground and handing it to her.
Y/n gasped quietly, melting into huge smile, accepting the flower, caressing the flower with her delicate fingertips.
"Thank you!"
She beamed up at the golem and it seemed to understand and with another rumble, it walked away to fulfill it's duties of protecting the village.
She held the flower close to her chest, smiling all the time.
She looked so pretty when she smiled...
He only wished to be the cause of her smile.
"Hello?"
A random villager walked up to her, interested, after seeing the new face appear in the village.
"Oh, hi!"
"Hi."
"Never seen you here before. Who might you be?"
Right... clearly they didn't know him.
The ones that knew him already passed away.
It has been decades, after all...
"I'm Y/n and his name's XD."
The villager's eyes widened upon hearing that one name.
"XD? Are you-"
He examined the deity that stood in front of him.
It was all the same as the myths described him.
"I've heard a lot about you, my lord. It's a great honour to meet you."
He was about to bow but XD dismissed him with a flick of his hand.
"You don't have to be so formal. What have you heard about me?"
"Well, we have a myth about the deity that once resided here. For a short moment-"
Oh, so this is it, huh?
"I see. No need to tell us the rest."
"Huh? I wanna hear the rest."
Y/n protested.
"Later, darling. We have to get you supplies right now."
The village guy cocked an eyebrow at the name but didn't say anything.
"Okay..."
Y/n nodded.
"Get her only the best."
XD commanded, and the boy nodded.
"Got it. Tell me what you need exactly."
"Um...mending books, treasure maps, gunpowder, the eyes of spiders..."
The list went on while the boy scribbled all the things she needed on the sheet of paper.
While XD stood there, next to her, recalling the moments he's spent here.
