"Let's go Katsuki! We're going to be late!"
"Yeah I know, I know."
"Well if you know, then why aren't you ready?"
"I would have been, but someone decided to use all my clothes when making their nest so all I had was a pair of underwear and a undershirt. So I had to do some quick laundry."
"Oh... Sorry."
"Yeah, yeah whatever. How you feeling?"
"Uhh still a little sick, but I'm fine. I can't stand this feeling."
"Well hopefully it will end soon. I don't need you vomiting in the middle of dinner."
"I know. I just can't shake this feeling of wanting to vomit."
"Well, we should get going before we are actually late."
"Right. God I wish I knew why my mom has been pushing this so much."
"I don't know, but it's the least you could do for your mom. By the way are we telling your mom today or-?"
"Ugh do we have to?"
"Well she's going to find out one way or another. It's better for us to tell her."
"I know, I know. It's just she's gonna say it's way too soon and we just got together and we have our whole lives still ahead, and I don't want to have that conversation. Plus we go back to work in about a week and I don't want to be in a fight with her when I get back to work."
"Well we have to tell her before the media finds out everything."
"Yeah I guess your right. *sigh* I guess we'll tell her."
"Okay." Katsuki said as he got his mate into the car.
It took the couple about an hour to get to their destination, which was a fancy Italian restaurant.
"Oh my god! My mom wanted to eat here?!"
"I guess. But my question is how could she afford it?"
"I don't know let's go in before valet gets suspicious."
"Why would they?"
"Uh really Kat, your asking a new famous singer why in the world valet would get suspicious on why said singer showed up to the restaurant with a alpha male?"
"Okay you made your point let's get inside."
"Yeah-." Izuku said as he headed inside with Katsuki behind.
The couple then spotted Inko and Shōta siting at a table for four. Then walked over to the table to sit down.
"Hey mom."
"Hey sweetheart how have you two been?"
"Uh we've been okay. We had a pretty rough week so we're still adjusting." Katsuki answered.
"Uh Shōta I don't think we properly introduced Katsuki to you yet." Ink stated.
"Yeah I don't think so but if I remember correctly you're our police commissioner."
Shōta said sticking his hand out for a shake.
"Yes, yes I am." Katsuki said returning the gesture.
"So why exactly is our police commissioner having dinner with us?" Shōta asked a little irritated.
"Well because where Izuku goes I go." Katsuki said trying to avoid saying that him and Izuku are mates.
"And why is that?"
"Boy doesn't this place look amazing what shall I get." Izuku budded in hoping to change the subject.
"Yes they have amazing fettuccini and lasagna." Inko said catching on what Izuku was doing.
"Wow really I think I know what I want, Shōta how about you do you know what your getting."
"I am going to get the chicken risotto."
"Kat what about you?"
"Uh I think I'm going to have shrimp Alfredo with some mozzarella sticks."
"That sounds good."
As the time went on the party of four had their appetizers/salads, dinner, and about to have their dessert. Katsuki and Izuku are sharing a molten lava cake with some ice cream.
"So mom why was it so important for us to have dinner?"
"Well Izuku it was I who really wanted to have dinner with you." Shōta budded in
"Oh? Why is that?" Izuku asked taking a sip of his drink.
"Well sweetie there is something that I need to tell you." Inko said
"Whats wrong mom?"
"Well uh when I was younger, before I had you, I was working as an agent and I was doing really well for myself. I met a lot of people, traveled, had some fun, anyways, about 10 months before I got pregnant I was dating an alpha male who was just making it as an entertainer. And one of the many times when I went into my heat we decided to spend it together and about a month later I found out I was pregnant. I saw the potential that the guy had and I didn't want to ruin his future in the business. So instead of talking to him about it I broke up with him and hid my identity took my mothers name and moved, eight months later I had you and raised you. I never told him I had you, well, recently I saw him again."
"Oh." Katsuki said now realizing where this was going.
"What? I still don't understand how does any of this have to with Mr. Aizawa here wanting to have this dinner."
"Izu you're going to want to take a deep breath for what their going to tell you."
"What?! What?! Do you know something?!"
"No I don't know, but I can assume."
"Izu sweetie, Shōta Aizawa is your father."
Izuku just in shock not speaking at all.
Izu POV:
'Did she just say what I think she just said. Did she just say that the Shōta Aizawa is my father. This can't be real, can it? I don't understand, how can he be my father? I don't get why didn't she tell me? What does this mean for me? Who am I? Why, just why? Wait, what's this on my face?'
3rd Person POV:
"Iz..Izu...Izuku"Katsuki called out.
"*voice cracks* Hûh?!"
"It's okay to cry babe."
"Babe?" Shōta asked.
"B-but I'm not crying." Izuku said, oblivious to what his face was doing.
"Izu but you are." Katsuki said wiping away a few tears.
"Oh."
"Why did you call him babe?"
"Shōta now is not the time. Izuku is processing on what we just told him."
"No I want to know why the police commissioner is calling our son, babe."
"Our son? You didn't raise me!"
"Izu sweetie he did know."
"So what?! Is that supposed to clear him of all the years I went without him!"
"Izuku-"
"No! I get it, you didn't know I existed. But mom we're you that selfish on raising me you didn't think I wanted to know him?! We're you that selfish that if I never made and posted those songs and had gotten famous that you would've let me live my life without knowing who my father was?!"
"Izu-"
"What gave you the right to deprive me of something that I yearned for my entire life?! Did you ever think that maybe I would've wanted my father while I was growing up?!"
"I-I thought about it, but you never asked me about your father, you never hinted at anything that made me think that that's what you wanted."
"Because I knew you never wanted to talk about it! I remember at my fifth birthday party I heard you talking to someone and they asked why my father wasn't around, and why didn't you do "something" and I heard that you got mad at them. Then later that night I heard you crying in your room alone. So from that day forward I made a promise to myself that I would never bring up my father because I knew it would make you upset."
"..."
"Uh... I-I .. I don't.. feel so good ex-excuse me." Izuku said walking towards the restrooms.
"Uh I'm gonna go check on him. He wasn't feeling so good before coming, I think the nerves got to him."
"How would you know that?"
"What are you asking exactly?"
"How do you know he wasn't feeling so good before coming. If you had picked him up you would have said on your way over. So I'll ask again. How do you know he wasn't feeling good before coming?!"
At this point because of the screaming people we're already looking, and nobody wanted to walk over given the fact that a famous singer, famous entertainer, and the police commissioner were all at the same table.
"Unfortunately sir, that is none of your business or concern. Now if you'll excuse me I am going to check on Izu." Katsuki states as he gets up to walk toward the restroom.
––Restroom––
"Izu? You okay?"
"No *raspy & sore voice*"
"Did you vomit?"
"Yeah. I wanna go home."
"Well let's go home."
"Yeah but there is still so much that we need to talk about so can we move the conversation to the house?"
"Really? Are you sure, cause you just threw up and I think you should rest."
"Yeah but this conversation isn't going to let me rest so might as well have it at home where no one will stare."
"You knew?"
"Of course I knew, I could feel the stares from every direction."
"Yeah so could I. Well then let's go invite them before they leave. Yeah?"
"Yeah I guess."
So both men walked out of the restroom and asked Inko and Shōta to follow them home so they could finish their discussion in private. Aizawa still curious on what Katsuki is to Izuku of course asked why do they live together and well being that the couple doesn't want to tell him in public avoided the question. And so they all left going to the couples' house.
