"hello?" yamaguchi peeked his head by the door. your eyes lit up and you welcomed him in. he grabbed a seat near you and placed his things down, "kei is on his way"
you nodded your head and took your phone out, "where were you guys?"
"oh i was in the office grabbing something and kei told me he was talking to someone" the last words of yams sentence caused you to sit up straight, "oh who?" you asked out of "curiosity"

"a girl in his class" yams looked at you, "do you know her? she has really long hair. i think her name is-"
unfortunately, your whole day was ruined just by the look of ichiro standing waiting for some sort of welcome.

"that was rude." ichiro picked the chair with one hand and sat down, putting his legs in front of the chair. you cracked your knuckles and chuckled, "you have some nerve."
"ah, i'm so scared~" he sarcastically said rolling his eyes .you stood up from your seat and he moved back slightly. kaori came in later and it was just tsukishima left to come in.
"you know when kei said he wasn't gonna do this-" yams nudged your shoulder, "do you think he was being serious?"
"i was just thinking the same thing" you replied. you looked at your water bottle next to your bookbag and out the classroom door, "i'm gonna fill up my water bottle"
"me too!" kaori jumped, "i'll go with you"
you hesitated but then again you could just lose her in the hallways and look for kei, "sure " you smiled at her.

you swear on everything you've never felt more annoyed. being too nice comes with a price and in this case, it was kaori- she would not stop talking about how compatible she and tsuki would be, knowing he's not into her.

you deadpanned, "then go do whatever you want" you turned around and put your water bottle in front of you. you heard footsteps behind you and you glanced at the shadow and rolled your eyes, "kaori-"
"what?" she titled her head
"what's up?" you said in an annoyed voice, "what do you want from me?"
"you said to do whatever i want" she answered
"so...follow me?"
"mhm" she nodded
"that's weird."
"what's weird is how you and tsuki are fake dating when in actuality you like him-"

"damn," a voice from behind said
you turned quickly to see tsukishima clean his glasses while the shirt he wore slightly lifted. his body rested against the wall, watching you both bicker.

"tsuki!" kaori said out loud
"no" he passed her and walked in front of you two
"uh-" you paused until he turned his head to look at you. he didn't say a thing, just signal his head to the side of him and that small movement made you feel like you won a battle- no war.

"she's not good for you" kaori stomped her foot
"i know" tsuki answered
your eyes widen. "but don't worry about that" he finished his sentence, "you're not in the picture so it's all good" he smiled and sighed, "idiot."

you mimicked her facial reaction and gave her the finger. tsuki slightly rushed you to grab your attention and shook his head, "i see how it is"
"see how what is?" you asked quickly until you realized the whole conversation he overheard, "OH"
"oh," he copied you. you were standing at the door for the meeting and he opened it for you, "glad we're on the same page."

my friends called me, "y/n" and i laughed so hard. it's so funny bc ppl at my school don't know abt my fics and stuff soooo. the reason why they call me that is bc of this boy i like at school (lets' call him: idiot) *hence the title ;)* i went to "idiot's" house yesterday to drop of hw since he wasn't at school and i met his mom and today i saw his sister. mind you- i'm 4'11 and i thought they were gonna be pretty tall but they're just as short as me. thanks for reading, "idiot" i like you please marry me!!
