Riko gave out a yawn and rubbed her eyes as she sat up.
She groggily looked around and found all the other sleeping.
She stretched her arms with a yawn and looked up at the clock over the door.
"Eh..." she said and froze.
The clocked ticked and showed that it was 11.30.
"What the heck!" she shrieked making the others wake up with a start.
"What! What is it?!" asked Hyuuga looking around.
"What's wrong?" asked Izuki.
"It's 11.30 already!" yelled Riko. "How long did we sleep?!"
"Eh?!" yelled the rest and looked at the clock.
"Why didn't anyone wake us?" asked Fukuda.
"Yeah, it closes at 8 doesn't it?!" asked Koganei.
"Wait..." said Furihata. "What did the sign we were given say?"
"Don't know..." said Riko and went to the door.
She opened it and looked at the sign.
'Closed'
The team was silent until they all yelled.
"Did they give us the wrong sign or something?!" yelled Kawahara.
"Nothing to worry about" said Kiyoshi, his usual positivity still up. "We were supposed to be here tonight eitherway"
"Right..." sighed Riko and held a hand to her face. "But still..."
Mitobe did some movements and Koganei nodded turning to the others.
"So did anyone get some information from the workers here before?" he asked.
"Yeah" nodded the freshmen trio. "Not much though"
"What is it?" asked Izuki.
"We asked a worker using the animatronic's full name, but they said that they don't have a full name..." said Kawahara.
"Their names are just Kuroko, Akashi, Kise and that" nodded Furihata.
"So we're confused as to why they introduced themselves with a full name which they're not supposed to have..." said Fukuda.
"Weird..." said Koganei. "Oh, and when I asked. The workers didn't seem to know much about it themselves"
Mitobe nodded and Koganei translated him.
"Yeah" he nodded. "It's like they've tried to erase the whole thing from everyone, even workers"
"I also got something about that golden basketball" nodded Hyuuga.
"It disappeared the night after the boys' disappearance" nodded Kiyoshi.
"How did you know?!" barked Hyuuga at him with a fist. "Weren't you playing around?!"
"I was being you at the start and heard" he laughed rubbing the back of his neck. "But then saw the animatronics nearby and went to them!"
"Idiot!" snarled Hyuuga.
"So we got a little more" said Kagami. "But it's not much..."
"Atleast it's something" sighed Riko.
"Should we go to the gym then?" asked Kagami.
"Sure" nodded Riko and they all went out the room.
As expected, everything was dark as they headed into the gym.
The stage was normal, dark with the five animatronics on stage, but the extra stage had it's curtains open and Kuroko standing there.
"I wonder how this will go tonight" said Riko looking at the stage.
"Yeah..." nodded the others.
Suddenly a slow metal squeaking noise came from the side making them all shoot their head towards it.
They shivered in fear when seeing the backstage door slowly slide open.
Kagami walked over and peeked inside.
The others slowly made their way over too and Kagami then opened the door fully and stepped inside.
"Kagami?" asked Furihata scared.
"There's nothing here except broken parts and junk" said Kagami having his eyes glide around the room. "But we tried the door last night. There was something blocking it then"
"Yeah" nodded Kiyoshi. "It wasn't locked, just something on the other side blocking the door"
Kagami stepped back and closed the door.
A click came from the door and Kagami felt the door again.
"Locked?" he asked raising an eyebrow.
"Must be a door which locks itself when closed" shrugged Koganei.
Kagami just looked confused at it but sound of the stage lights turning on made them all turn.
They walked to the front of the stage and looked up at the animatronics.
"Hey, guys!" beamed Kise as they all turned on, one by one. "You haven't been waiting long have you?"
"No..." said Seirin.
"We did meet this day though..." said Fukuda.
"We did?" asked Aomine raising an eyebrow.
"We don't recall that" said Midorima.
"That's weird" said Kawahara.
"We even played against you all" nodded Furihata.
"Eh?" they just said confused.
"We played you?" asked Akashi.
"Well, not you Akashi" said Koganei.
"But that's just four then" said Murasakibara.
"Will you just explain already?" asked Aomine.
Seirin just looked confused between eachother.
"I guess it's their programmation" suggested Izuki.
"Yeah" nodded Hyuuga.
"Please restrain yourself of talking to us like we're robots and all that" glared Midorima.
"E-Eh.." said Seirin jumping back. "S-sorry..."
"We do have the body of animatronics, but we are not them" said Akashi sternly
"What?" just said Seirin confused.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Kagami.
"That is the painful memory..." muttered Murasakibara.
"The thing we don't like to talk about..." said Kise slowly.
"Because we lost him..." said Midorima.
"We lost our lives" said Akashi.
"All to that bastard" growled Aomine.
"Please calm down everyone" came a different voice and everyone froze.
A small bang of metal came and they all turned.
There infront of the extra stage stood Kuroko.
"Kuroko?" asked Seirin seeing him, all with wide eyes.
"N-no... way..." said Kise staring at him.
"You're..." said Midorima.
"This can't be real..." said Akashi stunned.
"You're finally awake...?" asked Murasakibara.
"You're finally awake!" yelled Aomine.
"Indeed" smiled Kuroko with a nod.
All the animatronics immidienly bolted over to him and hugged him tightly.
"Why did you leave us?" asked Murasakibara like he was crying.
"You took so long..." said Kise.
"Why did you do it?!" asked Aomine.
"You scared us all" said Midorima.
"We failed you..." said Akashi. "You sacrifice yourself for us, but we failed you"
Kuroko just gave a small smiled and hugged them all.
"What happened wasn't something we could have done much of" he said sadly. "We were kids. We couldn't do much against him. But we're all here now"
They pulled away and Kuroko turned to Seirin.
"Thank you, Seirin" he bowed shocking them all. "It was thanks to your passion, joy and determination together which gave me strength to come back"
"H-How..." they said. "W-what..?"
"How'd you know we were Seirin?" asked Riko.
"The other's didn't seem to remember the day..." said Koganei.
"So how come...?" asked Izuki.
Kuroko gave them a smile.
"I have been with all of you" he smiled. "We hung out, played and talked when I visited"
"No way..." they said, eyes growing wide.
"Te-tsu-ya...?" they slowly asked.
"Yes" nodded Kuroko. "I am Tetsuya Kuroko"
Everyone in Seirin was frozen still and the animatronics turned to him in shock.
"Tetsuya, how...?" asked Akashi.
"Why, Tetsuyacchi?" asked Kise.
"Everyone" he said turning to them. "I was unable to join you guys, so I went to the only solution. Find a group with true passion to help"
"Tetsuya, so you..." said Midorima.
"You went to them, Tetsu-chin?" asked Murasakibara.
"How did you do that, Tetsu?" asked Aomine.
"It took a lot out of me" said Kuroko turning to Seirin. "That is why I was unable to come for a long time. I had to little energy to form myself"
"Is... Is that you didn't want to be touched?" asked Fukuda.
"Because you really were a.... ghost?" asked Kawahara.
"Indeed" nodded Kuroko.
"That explains your presence..." said Furihata.
"And how you arrived inside here before us that one night..." said Hyuuga.
Mitobe did some movements.
"So the people you needed to help in that note..." said Koganei translating him. "Was them?"
"Yes" nodded Kuroko.
"So you were the one we saw at the one-on-one" said Kagami.
"Tetsu?" asked Aomine turning to him.
Kuroko smiled and nodded.
"But everyone" said Kiyoshi getting everyone to turn to him. "How about we start it all now?"
"Right" said Kise.
"We will explain" said Midorima.
"What happened to us" said Murasakibara.
"How it all started" said Aomine.
"How it all ended like this" nodded Akashi.
"Please get yourself ready" nodded Kuroko to Seirin who grew nervous.
