A Few Weeks Later
Y/n's POV:
My step-sister called me a few days ago, she told me that she would be visiting us today. Taehyung and I are in the car right now, on the way to the airport to pick her up. Jimin couldn't come with us because he has work today.
"I haven't met Min-Jung before." Tae told me
"Oh you're right! I forgot about that." I laughed
"What if she is uglier in person?" he joked
"Damn, then that's your problem." I joked too
"Anyways, we're here now." he parked the car
We both got out of the car and went inside the airport, it reminds me of when I came here from America. As I was looking around, I almost bumped into people. Taehyung grabbed my hand so I wouldn't wander off.
Tae and I looked at the huge screen with all of the flights on it, we looked for Min-Jung's flight and we found it. It says her flight just landed, we went over to the luggage claim area and waited for her there.
"I'm nervous." Tae chuckled
"Huh? Why?" I laughed
"I don't know, I felt nervous too when I had to pick you up from the airport too." he said
"Is it like a nervous excitement?" I asked
"Something like that, yeah. I'm excited to meet her of course, since we always make fun of each other online. It's like we're already really close, but I just haven't met her yet." he explained, "It's like meeting an online friend in person, you know?"
"I can understand that." I smiled
Suddenly I got a call from Min-Jung, I answered right away.
"Hey, where are you?" Min-Jung asked
"I'm with Tae at the luggage claim area." I told her
"Okay, I'll be there!" she said excitedly
I ended the call then looked around for her, so did Tae. We looked around for a bit until I finally saw her, she was running towards us, trying not to bump into people. She ran up to me and hugged me tight, I hugged her back too.
"Y/n, I missed you!" Min-Jung laughed
"I missed you too unnie!" I laughed along
We pulled away from the hug, Min-Jung then turned to Taehyung. She smiled then hugged him too.
"Nice to meet you, finally." she smiled
"Nice to meet you too." he chuckled and hugged her back
"I was expecting an insult, honestly." she laughed
"Come on, I'm not that mean..." he trailed off, "Dumbass."
"Yah, see what I mean?" she scoffed
"I have no idea what you're talking about, I am probably the nicest person you have ever met." he said sarcastically
"That's enough you two." I laughed, "Anyways, can we go home now and buy some food on the way?"
"Oh can we?" Min-Jung turned to Tae, "I was starving on that plane, I only had those airplane cracker things."
"Of course, what do you want to eat?" Tae asked the both of us while exiting the airport
"I'll eat anything honestly, how about you Y/n?" Min-Jung asked me
"Hm, I've been craving ramen recently." I said
"Is ramen okay with the both of you?" Tae smiled
"Yeah." we both agreed
"How about Jimin?" I asked
"Trust me, Jimin will eat anything. He's coming back from work soon, he's probably hungry and will eat anything." he chuckled
"You're right." I laughed along
"Someone must care about their boyfriend a lot." Min-Jung teased
"Of course I do." I laughed
Time Skip (home)
I was helping Tae put the ramen out on the kitchen table, but I didn't see Jimin around even tho his car is parked out at the front.
"I'll be right back, I'm going to find Jimin." I told Tae and Min-Jung
They nodded and Min-Jung went to help Tae instead since I left him alone.
I walked upstairs and knocked on Jimin's door, waiting for a response.
"Come in." I heard him say through the door
I opened the door and I saw him sitting on the edge of his bed, scrolling through his phone. He looked up at me and smiled, I smiled back.
"Hey, how was work today?" I asked him
"It was alright, there was a rude customer but that's kind of expected." he chuckled
"Wow, some people need to learn how to control their anger in public." I frowned
"It's okay, they're probably having a bad day, that's all." he shrugged
"Well they didn't have to take it out on people who were just doing their job." I said
"Calm down, it's okay. Me and my coworkers are used to it and know how to handle it." he stood up and walked up to me
"Anyways, we bought ramen on the way back from the airport. Do you want to eat?" I changed the topic
"Of course!" he smiled
We both walked back downstairs and into the kitchen, all the food was already set on the table.
"Hey Jimin, meet our step-sister!" Tae smiled
"Nice to meet you, I'm Min-Jung!" she introduced herself
"I'm Jimin, nice to meet you too!" he introduced himself too
"Oooh, you're the person Y/n has been talking about." she teased me
"Um, can we eat now?" I laughed nervously while trying to change the topic
"Come on Y/n, wouldn't your boyfriend want to hear all of the sweet things you say about him?" she laughed
"He hears a lot of it everyday already." I told her
"It wouldn't hurt to tell him mo-"
"I will do the exact same thing you're doing right now when you get a boyfriend or girlfriend, take this as a threat." I told her
"Fine, I'll be quiet now." she rolled her eyes playfully
Time Skip (after eating)
We all helped clean up the kitchen table while Taehyung washed the dishes. We then all sat down in the living room and I turned on the tv. All of us decided to watch a kdrama called It's Okay to Not Be Okay.
Time Skip (going to bed)
Min-Jung and I decided that we would share my room until she goes back home after a month. I helped her move her luggage in the corner of the room so it wouldn't block anything and take up too much space.
"Unnie, I'm just going to get some water downstairs." I told her
"Okay." she said while on her phone
I exited my bedroom and walked downstairs, the kitchen lights were still on so I was a bit confused until I saw Jimin there.
"Oh, hey Y/n." he smiled at me
"Hey, aren't you going to bed too?" I asked
"Yeah, I just needed some water." he grabbed a glass for himself
"Me too, actually." I laughed
"Here, I'll give you some water." he grabbed another glass and filled it up then handed it to me
"Thank you." I smiled before drinking
He quickly filled up his own glass and drinking his water too. We put our empty glasses away then both went upstairs.
"Goodnight baby." he gave me a kiss on the cheek
"Goodnight ChimChim." I gave him one back
We both went inside our own rooms and head off to sleep.
