Angelina's POV
"Ma'am, I have called the requested visitor that you've suggested and she said she's on her way" the doctor said after knocking and coming the room
"Thank you very much, Dr Grey" I replied
"No problem, Ms Jolie" after that he left
"You sure you want (Y/n) to come, mom?" Pax asked, unsure of my decision
"Yes, I'm sure. Don't worry about me too much and worry about yourself, don't you have your exams coming this month?"
"Yeah, don't worry about you even though you just got into an accident not long ago and besides, those exams are just papers, you're more important, mom" Pax stated, bringing a smile to my face
"Oh right! I just remembered that you have no idea what's been going with mom and her love life as you were so busy with your studies" my eyes went wide when Vivienne squeezed into the conversation, bring up a new topic
"Vivienne! Not now!"
"Love life? What are you talking about, Viv?" Pax asked, Vivienne and the other kids giggled "Am I the only one who doesn't know what the heck is going on?!"
"Well, you and Maddox cause you two are too busy with your lessons. Anyway, mom has a little crush on someone, don't you, mom?" Shiloh wiggled her eyebrows, joining in with Vivienne
"Kids, no, it's nothing like that" but it was already too late as Pax was quite interested in it
"Okay guys, don't leave me in the dark, who is it?!" Pax snapped the questioned, seemingly invested on it
"We'll let you guess, it's pretty obvious" Knox added
"You guys are not helping at all! Zahara, help me out here!" he asked his sister for help
"She's coming by to visit today" she gave a hint and Pax thought for a second until he finally got the idea
"She?...(Y/n)?" Zahara grinned and shrugged, giving a 'maybe' expression "Mom?!?" Pax snapped at me, wanting to know if his answer was right
"Okay, fine! Yes! I do like her!" I exclaimed cause no matter how many times I deny it, they would just come back again and again
"YES! Took you long enough to admit it! Even though it was very obvious!" Vivienne threw her arms in the air "You should've seen what she looks like! She's gorgeous!" Vivienne told Pax, it was nice to hear that she likes (Y/n)
"Doesn't matter what she looks like, all I want to see if she could take care of mom and make her happy"
"Oh she does! You should've seen mom when she comes home after seeing (Y/n)! She was smiling and giggling to herself! She was lovestruck, Pax!" Vivienne exclaimed while shaking her older brother
Wow! Did I really looked like I was lovestruck when I come back from hanging with (Y/n)?
Right in the middle of Vivienne talking about (Y/n) her siblings a knock was heard on the door "Hi, just coming in to say that your requested visitor (Y/n) had just arrived" Dr Grey informed us and I nodded
"Okay kids, can you all stay outside for a little while, we won't be long, I promise" and before Vivienne I quickly stopped her "Vivienne!" she snapped her head to me "Sorry, I missed your play"
"Oh, it's no problem!" soon the other followed and left the room
"Go get your girl!" Shiloh whispered, making sure I still heard it, it's hilarious and sweet how they're all cheering for and (Y/n)
Not even a minute later, the door opened, revealing (Y/n) wearing a white shirt, a pair of black skinny jeans with a pair of black heels and light brown, not too thick of a jacket, then topping it off with a purse
(Y/n)'s Outfit
When I was done checking her clothes out I looked at her face and she had a worried expression on "Hi there, stranger" it seems like she was in her head, then she snapped out of it when I spoke. She look to the ground as she softly closed the door
"H-How are you?" she cracked
"I'm fine, just a couple of scratches. Come, sit" I patted on the side of the bed, she slowly approached the bed, then sat down. She didn't make any eye contact with me and her sight remained on the ground, it was kinda awkward. When I had my head down low I felt the bed deepening on the side and before I could look up I felt a flick on my forehead "Ow!" I hissed while I rub my forehead
"That's for not being careful!"
"Well, sorry..." I said and sounded a little bitter, then she leaned in and gave me a kiss on the forehead. I stiffened my whole body, not because I didn't expect it to happen, but because I feel like I'm in Cloud 9, goosebumps began to appear on my arms and this overwhelming adrenaline was somewhere within me, within my heart
This is crazy! This is nothing like the other I've been with, nothing like I've experience! This woman is so different! She's so...unique
"And that's for you to heal faster" she pulled back and that was when we finally made eye contact since she came in, my face began heating up and I know for a fact that I'm blushing, I just hope that it was noticeable
"Um, isn't it hot in here with your jacket?" I asked, trying to change the whole thing
"Yeah, it kinda is" she then began taking off her jacket and folded it to the side
"Where were you before this?" she looked at me as she gave me a reply
"Oh, I was at Jackie's school for their School Theatre Day with my sister before getting a call about you and how you were in an accident which by the way, nearly gave me a heart attack! How did you even gotten yourself here?"
"I um...saw something sparkling on the road, I went to grab it, but I didn't noticed the car coming by" she sighed when I told her what happened
"You silly woman! Well, at least you're okay now, right?"
"Yes, now that you're here..." I mumbled and slowly held her hand, (Y/n) looked at her hand and pulled out a small smile when she intertwined hers to mine, her hand was cold at her first, but quickly got warmed up by mine
Just as when everything was going smoothly her phone started ringing, she took it out of her purse and looked at the ID name "It's my sister" she answered the call and began talking to her sister. What was surprising is that she didn't got up or moved away before talking to her sister, she stayed with me, with her hand still in mine
She's comfortable with me. That's good
"Okay, I'll see you in a bit, love you" she then hung with the call and looked at me with a sad image on her "I'm sorry, but I have to get going, Jackie has been asking where I am and wants to go to the zoo, I really wished I could stay"
"No, it's fine, you go ahead, I'll be okay, I have the kids with me" I said and gave her hand a squeeze
"Okay, call me you need m-" then she was interrupted by one of my kids
"Mom, Pax wanted to kn-" Shiloh paused when she saw (Y/n) was still here "Oop! Sorry, I thought you already left"
"Oh, it's okay" me and (Y/n) said simultaneously, then laughed
"No worries, I was about to leave anyway. You must be Shiloh"
"Yes, I am! You must be (Y/n)! It's so great to see you, I've heard so much about you from mom" (Y/n) blushed when Shiloh made the statement
"I hope only good ones" (Y/n) murmured, it's mesmerizing how cute she could be
"Anyway, what was it you were going to ask me, sweetie?" I asked Shiloh
"Oh yes! Pax wanted to know if you wanted anything from Starbucks cause he's going there"
"Just my usual" I answered and Shiloh nodded
"Well, I better get going, call anytime when you want, okay?" (Y/n) questioned as she stood up from the bed
"I will, don't worry"
"Okay, later then" she then made her way out of the room until she closed the door. I was in a few seconds in silence before the door slammed open
"So!?! We see you took your lovely time with (Y/n), huh?!" of course, Vivienne was the one to ask that question first, the following kids also showed up behind her
"She is beautiful as Viv said" Zahara added
"See?!? I told you she was!" I chuckled as my room was filled with my children again
Well, 34 seconds of silence was enough, I guess
