Holy shit my head is killing me.
And holy fuck I'm not in my own bed, or bedroom. I look beside me and see a guy. Holy shit did I drunkenly hook up?
Wait is that....Rohan? He's laying shirtless on his stomach. But god does he look hot right now, messy brown hair, ripped body, muscular shoulders. He look so peaceful. But why don't I remember what happened last night, I grabbed the tequila and then did shots...
Wait! I look under the blanket, panties: check, boxers? Check, shirt: check. So we didn't sleep together? I release a breath and drop the blanket, look back at Rohan. The thought that we slept together is still wondering in my head.
I don't even know how long I'm looking at him but he starts groaning and squirming, then yawning, followed by his eyes fluttering open.
"It's creepy to watch someone sleep." His husky voice says. Oh my god his morning voice is so fucking sexy.
"Why am I in your bed?" I ask, turning my attention to the celling. "Did we...like, fuck?"
"Because you were drunk, and no we didn't." Is that disgust in his voice?
"Oh yeah, duh but━wait Lexi. Where's Lexi." I ask shooting my attention back to Rohan.
"She slept in Kai's bed." He chuckles. Rohan throws off the blanket and I immediately cover my eyes with the blanket because I have no clue what to expect. "For fuck sakes, Kitty, I have pants on."
I feel the dip of the bed which tells me he stood up, "Are you sure your not...naked?" I ask, the blanket muffling my question.
Then the blanket is ripped off and the light blinds me. "Get up," He walks into the bathroom, he is not pantless but wearing plaid pants and no shirt. I can see his muscular and ripped, chiseled chest. And the abs, they're so detailed that he must work out once a day. His shoulders━I shake my head from all my observations.
I sit up and look around the room, it's as clean as the last time I saw it, minus my clothes which are at the foot of the bed.
Rohan comes back out with a toothbrush in his mouth, he goes to his dresser and grabs a tee. He goes right back inside the bathroom.
I stand up and go over to the bookshelf. The books look worn, used, so that means he actually reads them.
"The boys are already up, let's go." I turn around and see Rohan waiting at the door, now he's put on the tee.
As we walk into the kitchen I see Kai cooking, Reid isn't in the kitchen but I hear the tv, Chase and Lexi are at the table, laughing, wearing her leggings and what is probably one of Kai's tees. I walk over and sit beside Lexi. "Is he flirting with you?" I ask, with a pointed look at Chase who's just smirking.
Lexi chuckles, "No, well yes but he's agreed to be friends."
I raise my brows, "Was that his idea?" Deja Vu.
"No it was hers." Chase pipes, standing up and going to the fridge.
"So where did you sleep?" Lexi asks, but the knowing gleam in her eyes tells me she knows exactly where I slept.
"Where did Kai sleep while you slept in his bed?" I whisper while looking over at Kai who's cracking eggs, Rohan is cutting up shit and Chase is going into the living room.
Lexi's biting her lip, "I think he slept on the couch or in one of the other boys' rooms."
I smirk, "Probably cuddled with Chase or sum." I shrug. Then say to Kai and Rohan, "Do you guys know how to cook because I don't feel like getting food poisoning."
Rohan chuckles under his breath, "Would you like to be the one to cook breakfast? Because we're amazing at cooking." He smirks at Kai.
"God no please, if she cooks we'll get the food poisoning, no offense Kat." Lexi exclaims. Kai and Rohan chuckle.
"I'm not that bad." I protest.
She gives me a pointed look, "You burn anything you cook or bake." She says taking a sip of water.
I just roll my eyes.
"Is Brayden, like, okay with you being here?" I ask.
"I called him this morning, he didn't love the idea but once I explained I was drunk he was okay with it." She says. We keep talking, like how apparently she told Kai about Brayden while drunk and that's why.... he slept on the couch, that's a better way to put it. But that leaves me wondering why Rohan still slept in his bed when he could've slept on the couch.
Then the boys bring the food to the table.
Turns out they're actually really good cooks, they made omelets and bacon.
"So Katherine, what does your mom do?" This question comes from Kai.
I raise my eyebrow, "She's an author. A New York Time best selling author, that's where my parents live." I stuff bacon into my mouth.
"What kind of books?" Chase asks.
"Mostly romance but she wants to try writing a fantasy." I shrug, "I'd think she'd write a biography on my dad when I was younger but then she explained that dad's life is already talked about."
"Speaking of that, how did that work. You know with James living in Boston, did you and your mom live in Boston too?" Rohan asks.
"During the season dad lived in Boston while mom and I lived in New York," I take a sip of coffee, "When he wasn't playing or the season ended he'd stay in New York with us."
"What about your parents?" Chase asks Lexi.
"I was born in New York like Kat, we practically grew up as sisters because our parents are bestfriends. My mom is a science professor at Princeton and dad owns a construction company in Texas, they got a divorce when I was young, still talk though."
"Kat? I like Kitty better." Reid says, chuckling.
I glare, "I can bear Kitty but don't ever call me Kat." I point a fork at the boys.
"But Lexi just called you Kat." Chase points.
"Because I'm her bestfriend." She smiles, "Hey don't you guys have another game Tuesday?"
"Yup, you going Lexi Wexi."
I choke on the juice, "Lexi Wexi?"
Lexi looks like she's trying not to laugh and a peek at the boys tells me their trying not to laugh as well.
"Nick name." He shrugs.
"What's their nick names then?" I nod to the boys.
He grins, "They're not special enough." I roll my eyes because again, Chase is someone special.
"Hey Lexi Wexi, what's your major?"
Lexi takes a bite of eggs, "Education, majoring to become a teacher." Takes another bite of eggs, "What's your major, Chasey?" We all burst out laughing now.
But I'm all ears because I actually don't know what his major is, "Double major baby, Criminology and Criminal Justice."
My jaw goes slack, "Your studying to become a Lawyer?" I'm in genuine shock, not like I doubt him, it's that from getting to know him you'd never guess he's going to be a lawyer. I turn to Rohan and Kai, "What about you two?"
Kai answers, "Both business majors. Though Rohan's going pro, I'm taking over my dad company."
I look over at Rohan who's drinking water because he said he doesn't like coffee, who doesn't like coffee? I'm saying this not as a coffee obsessed person. "Which team are you hoping to sign with?"
Rohan shrugs, "I'm mostly hoping to sign with the Blackhawks, but any team would be nice." Raises a brow, "What about you?"
I smirk, "Well any team would work, but my dream since I was young has been the Boston Prides."
"Father like daughter." He says with an actual smile and I'm stunned about how it adds to him and...god he's hot, gorgeous.
"Was that a complement from Rohan Griffin?" I tease.
"Don't expect them often." He says but there's still a faint smile on his lips.
I turn to Reid, "What's your major?"
He finishes chewing the bacon in his mouth, "Biology, but I'm hoping to sign with the Rangers."
I roll my eyes, "Of course you are." He chuckles.
