Tzuyu
"Tzuyu, are you happy?" I put the slice of pizza I had already bitten on the saucer. Then, I stared at Jeongyeon's worried face. She asked me to hang-out here at the hospital cafeteria to have a girl talk since Jungkook left for a while.
Ahh Jeongyeon, I know she's going through some things too but she's still worried about me. I'm glad she's not having any breakdown these past few months. She's been really active in therapy and she's been drinking her medicines, too.
"I got you guys. I'm more than happy." I smiled and just handed her a slice of Pizza.
I know Jeongyeon, she's not one of those girls who can be clingy and sweet. Sometimes her words can be hurtful. But hey, she's awesome. I'm so lucky to have this crazy girl as my bestfriend.
"Yeah, how did you get back here? You're not in pain, are you?" I couldn't help but to worry. Jungkook got back because he got hit by a car, while Jeongin came back because he decided to continue his therapy. Jeongyeon isn't sick, is she?
"Hmm... Promise, you won't laugh?" Jeongyeon said.
"I'll try." I joked while drinking orange juice.
"I purposely ate a scoop of powdered soap so my parents had to rush me here to get my stomach pumped. They thought I was trying to commit suicide again so they re-admitted me here. Actually, I tried to commit suicide so I could go back to Old Geun's program."
I spilled what I was drinking. "You did what?!"
"I did that for you so don't judge me." She insisted and then handed me the handkerchief to wipe the juice out of my hand.
"But you could've died!" I tried not to scream loud.
"But I didn't." She smirked as she smiled.
"You're crazy." I just sighed.
"Nah, bitch, you're crazier. You and Jungkook are crazy." She leaned back in her seat and sighed as well. "But you guys used condoms, right?" She whispered a question that made me frown.
"C-condom? What condom?"
"You mean he didn't wear that thing while you guys are doing that thing?" She said quickly and in a whisper so I immediately frowned.
"Will you just get straight to the point?! I'm getting annoyed of you saying that thing!" I said but I was shocked when she suddenly stood up and pulled me to a nearby pharmacy.

"What the heck is this thing?" I asked while scanning the small and rectangular plastic. We went straight to my room from the pharmacy.
"That's a pregnancy test kit! Now go to the bathroom and and follow the instructions written there! Hurry!"
I frowned. "Pregnancy test kit?! Huh, wait, I'm not pregnant!" I shouted in a whisper because someone might hear us here in my room. It's a good thing Jungkook and Jeongin aren't here, though.
Jeongyeon glared at me so I instantly followed what she said.
Completely confused and grossed out, I left the bathroom holding the little piece of white rectangular thingy in my hand.
"Am I pregnant or what?" I asked with a frown as I tried to hand it to her but she was avoiding it.
"Why me! You count!" She's still avoiding it.
"What?! What the hell am I gonna count?! Am I going to count how many droplets of pee did I drop in this?" I can't help but to roll my eyes at her. Damn it, I think I'm going crazy because of Jeongyeon.
"Count the red lines. If one you're pregnant, if two maybe not... if three, it's negative! No! If there is no line then it's negative, wait-" She frowned and scratched her head. She doesn't even know how to read this.
"Girls are you okay in here? Why are you shouting" Jeongyeon and I shouted at the same time when the door suddenly opened and a new female nurse entered. To my great panic, I accidentally threw away the pregnancy test I was holding ... And the worst part, it landed in the direction of the nurse and she saw it immediately.
Jeongyeon and I both looked at each other. Both of our faces screamed terror and shame.
"Who owns this?" The nurse asked in surprise and then picked up the pregnancy test.
"I don't know." I acted innocent and avoided looking at her.
"Is this yours?" The nurse asked Jeongyeon.
"No it isn't!" Reema refuses.
"If you're not the owner of this, then who does this belong to? It's a pity, the result is negative." She scratched her head as if she didn't doubt us. We convinced her. Wow this girl's --- wait, it's negative? Yes!
"Stupid." Jeongyeon suddenly laughed so I immediately glared at her. We are both thinking of the same thing but it's much meaner and inappropriate saying it. The nurse might be offended or hurt.
"Wait you're Tzuyu right?" The nurse smiled at me so I just smiled back.
"Hi!" I greeted her because she looks kind even though she's a bit clumsy.
"Today's my first day here but I've already heard a lot of stories about you. You're really sick, aren't you? You'll suddenly fall asleep anywhere. Aren't you bored that you're always asleep? Why aren't you gaining weight? Isn't it when-" She was so talkative that all I could hear was blablablablabla. I also want her to be my friend but it seems awkward because I can hardly speak because of her excessive chatter.
"Okay if you don't mind, my friend here needs to rest." Jeongyeon spoke up finally stopping the nurse from yapping like there's no tomorrow.
"I'm sorry. Of course, Ms. Tzuyu needs to rest. I still remember Head Nurse Geun told me that of all the patients here in this ward, Ms. Tzuyu is the one I should watch closely. Because she seems like a time bomb. She'll stop breathing any time."
My eyes widened because of what she said. It was as if I had run out of energy because of what I heard. I seem to be slowly weakening. My feet were shaking until I found myself sitting on the floor. My hands began to tremble and my chest almost tightened with fear.
"Bitch, get the hell out of here!" I heard Jeongyeon shout and my eyes caught the nurse who immediately ran out as if she was terrified of Jeongyeon.
"Is it true?" Tears slowly flowed from my eyes to both my cheeks. "Is what she said true?! Am I going to die?!" I couldn't help but to scream.
Jeongyeon didn't say anything. She just stood in front of me and cried.
"Oh my gosh." I covered my mouth as tears endlessly flowed down from my eyes.
Everything slowly came together in my mind like I just solve a puzzle.
Why Jungkook came back, why my friends and parents are so clingy now and why in a flash I suddenly feel very sad and depressed.

Third Person's POV
Carrying flowers and food for Tzuyu, Jungkook was confused when he saw Jeongyeon and Jeongin crying while sitting outside Tzuyu's room.
"Where's Tzuyu?" He asked as he approached them. "Where is she? What happened to her?"
Jeongyeon looked up. "Jungkook, she knows." Jeongyeon said while crying.
"Wait, how did she find out?! I thought no one would say anything to her?! Jeongyeon, why did you let her know the truth?!" Jungkook said irritably. He turned around, grabbed his nape, and bit his lip in annoyance.
"Jungkook, let's not blame each other. At some point, Tzuyu also needs to know the truth." Jeongin said.
He faced them again. "You told me how she took it the first time she learned the truth! What if she does it again?! Who's with her inside?" Jungkook said worriedly and tried to get inside. But he got even angrier when the room was locked.
"Old Geun's inside. He says he'll talk to Tzuyu first." Jeongin said in a low voice.

"How many days do I have left, Old Geun?" Tzuyu asked the old man tearfully.
Tzuyu also became one of the patient of nurse Old Geun who he takes as his kids so it is also difficult for him to share the sad truth to her.
"Old Geun, answer my question! For once, can you stop lying!" Tzuyu shouted again so the old man just closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"T-the doctors can't really tell. M-maybe a few more years or months ... or weeks." He said dejectedly so Tzuyu just looked up at the ceiling and close her eyes while letting herself cry.
"Tzuyu ..." He slowly approached Tzuyu who was currently just sitting on the floor while leaning at the far end of the room. He sat down in front of the girl and held her hand tightly.
"Tzuyu I know it hurts. I know what you're going through is very difficult. But Tzuyu, despite your sadness and grief, never be discouraged. Many people loves you. Many people will be hurt when they see you give up." He said calmly.
"And they will get hurt once I die. Old Geun, I still want to live." Though trembling, Tzuyu was still able to speak while her eyes is close as she cried.
"We just borrowed our lives so we have no control over what will happen. Just think of your parents, if you're hurting now, they're definitely hurting more. What if they see you like this now?" Old Geun sighed and handed Tzuyu a white rosary with a metallic decoration, "Pray. Don't just wish. When everything else fails, he's the only one you can cling to. Tzuyu, remember this, it doesn't all end in death. "
"But what did I do to deserve this? Am I a bad person?" Tzuyu looked weak because of crying.
"No one in this world deserves pain. Sometimes, blessings disguise for the worse, always remember that okay?" Even the Old Geun was crying because of Tzuyu.
"What if I suddenly disappear?"
"As I said before, we have no control over on what will happen. So all you have to do now is live your life the way you've always wanted. Don't let your deadline get the best from you. Make the best out of your deadline instead. " The Old Geun insisted and hugged Tzuyu tightly and let her cry in his arms like a caring father.

When nurse Old Geun left Tzuyu's room, Jeongyeon, Jeongin and Jungkook entered to check on her condition.
"Tzuyu ..." Jungkook called softly when he saw Tzuyu who was sitting on the floor and staring into space.
"Oh my gosh! Hide every sharp objects. Even soaps or cleaning materials." Jeongyeon said worriedly to Jeongin but they were shocked when Tzuyu suddenly looked at them while trying not to laugh.
"Jeongyeon, my days are numbered. I'd rather spend it with you guys than hurt myself." Tzuyu said and smiled that surprised them all. It was so far from the grieving Tzuyu that they had seen a few hours ago.
"Did the screw come loose in her brain or was Old Geun just good at pep talk?" Jeongin asked so Jeongyeon immediately hit him.
"Guys, I'm really not okay and I really need a hug right now." Tzuyu said again so Jungkook and Jeongyeon didn't wait a second and quickly approached her and hugged her tightly.
"Wait how about me? I'm in a wheelchair! I can't join the group hug!" Jeongin complained with a hand on his head.
"Imaginary Hug." Tzuyu said and Jeongin did it immediately by raising both hands in the air even though he looked stupid.
"You're not going to die." Jungkook whispered to her.
"Whatever happens, I'll be okay." Tzuyu said softly and closed her eyes and bit her lip to stop herself from crying again.

G/N: Sorry for the late update. I don't know when my next update is. Thanks for reading, it's been a while since my last update, i've been busy lately, I said before that I hate math, gosh I also hate P.E. I did 20 burpees and I can't even stand properly now.
