Raizel's pov
After saying goodbye to my mother I went on to my etiquette class with the Mr. Paul
(A/n:just a random name for the teacher) a viscount. When I reached the room for my class I knocked and went in, I saw him sitting near the window with a book in hand, he quickly stood up as soon as he saw me and greeted me.
"Blessings and glory to the star of the Obelian empire" he greeted with a light bow and a hand on his chest.
"Greetings Viscount Paul, shall we proceed to our lesson?" I acquired
"Right away, your highness" he replied
Just as he said the lesson started smoothly. Viscount Paul is a good teacher he teaches his students genuinely, pointing out your mistakes,and gives out tips to make it easier to do. A good teacher if I do say so myself, after 3 hours of class he spoke.
"That will be all for today, your highness" he stated.
"I see. Thank you for your guidance today Viscount Paul" I dismissed
"Then I'll be going ahead see you tomorrow your highness" he said which I replied with a nod
"Blessings and glory to the star of Obelian empire" he said once again with a light bow and a hand on his chest before leaving.
I soon followed him out of the room, I asked maid to prepare some treats and milk in the garden before going to the library to get the books I'm going to read.
The History of Obelia,and some subjects that if I'm not wrong is a study material for students in Artlanta.(A/n: correct me if I'm wrong with the spelling is it Artlanta?) before heading towards the garden and saw the table filled with treats and the maid Lini a young girl possibly 8 or only 10 years old.
"Thank you Lini, you can leave now" I thanked her smiling. I saw her face was a bit red so I worried that I asked her to work when she's sick.
"Lini, your face is red are you sick?" I asked worriedly
"No,no I am fine your highness. I'll be leaving now Prince Raizel" she assured, but I was still skeptical so I just nod, she left quickly which made me focus on myself.
I opened the book but I wasn't reading it as I was occupied on my thoughts.
'mama was invited by father for tea, I'm almost certain that father will be asking about me and mama, but why now? I'm also certain that he doesn't care about me. Since after his visit that night I never saw his face again, Mama's also hiding things from me I'm sure of it, but I'll wait till she wants to talk about it. Second its obvious that mama and father does not love each other like the people I've read in some novels at the library.... Family.... Family huh, I wonder what that is, the book says that a family is a group of people that greatly loves each other which contains a father, a mother, and there child. I only have mama, father doesn't care about us and he doesn't love mama, does that mean I don't have a family? I'm confused...'
I shook my head to get out of my thoughts and read the books ignoring the feeling I can't identify deep inside me, not noticing that my eyes dulled like it has no light in it.

At the emperor's garden three figures can be seen having a tea. The red haired knight Felix, The emperor Claude, and The empress Libertia.
Claude's pov
I was in the garden waiting for Litia to arrive she came a few minutes later, she was wearing an simple but elegant dress that fades from dark blue to white, with her white hair loosely hanging on her back gently flowing with the wind, I was stunned when I saw her she changed so much before she was walking with a poker face but now she has a soft gentle smile on her face did Raizel change her so much? Nonetheless the sight was truly beautiful...
I was snapped out of my thoughts when Litia greeted me.
"Blessings and glory to the sun of Obelian empire" she greeted with her ever so perfect etiquette.
"Long time no see Litia" I stood up and gestured towards the chair.
"Have a seat" I continued
She sat on the chair on drinked the tea presented,and smiled lightly in content before she spoke.
"Rai had send you a message"she stated I was shocked that Raizel sent me a message , I was confused so I ended up tilting my head slightly. She chuckled at my gesture so I asked.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked, she smiled before replying
"You and Rai really have a lot of similarities. Rai also does that when he's confused" she told me.
'we're similar?' I thought before replying
"I see, so what was his message?" I asked curious
"He told me to send you his regards, and to thank you for lulling him to sleep" she said smirking at me
'Lull? I lulled him to sleep?' I thought before the memory of my little visit to Raizel surfaced. I looked at the smirking face in front of me, I looked away and covered my face with my hands.
"Who told you?" I asked still looking away.
"Rai did, he told me he has the condition where the child remembers every event that happens around him since he was born" she stated which made me look at her shocked the same as Felix
" I knew the prince was a genius but to think he was so smart he remembers things since his birth..." Felix trailed of shocked
"I know even I was shocked, Rai is probably in his etiquette class right now" she informed
"Wait class?! He's barely 2 years old Litia!" Felix said clearly surprised
"I'm only raising him as the heir of the throne for Claude as he wanted" she stated coldly looking at Felix in the eyes
"Luckily he seems to like learning, so it wasn't exactly forced" she continued assuring Felix
"Rai? Is that a pet name?" I asked Litia
"I just told you a lot and that's your question?" She asked glancing at me before closing her eyes sighing
"Yes that's how I call my son" she said
"I see" I said
"So you knew that I had Raizel as heir" I clarified she looked at me
"Of course, I knew I'm not stupid and I've been your friend before being your empress" she said exhaling lightly
"Have you told Raizel then?" I asked
"Obviously not, but I'm sure he has an idea about it already" she said
" Your not sure?"
"No Rai is hard to read" she stated
"What do you mean?" Felix asked
"I don't know what's going on in his head,Rai is good at hiding his thoughts,the same with observing, he also has a terrifying perception, but he does not understand feelings and emotions his own, and other people's feeling alike. He is always smiling, however there is no way of knowing what he's thinking" she explained
"Now that I think about it..." Felix said
"His expression didn't even change when I introduced myself as his father's knight" he continued, I couldn't help but raise my eyebrows at this
"It's no surprise, he didn't even budge when I mentioned I'm meeting you" she said
"Why?" I asked her
"He said he saw you in the garden looking at us, and with the rumors about him being a genius going around he was sure you'll ask for my presence soon" she explained
"So the prince expected it to happen one way or another, is that right?" Felix said
"Right" she clarified
"Hmm, interesting" I muttered, which from the looks of it was heard by Litia as she glanced at me
"It's my turn to ask a question" she said
"Hn"I shortly replied as a sign to continue
"Haaa,like father like son" she muttered which didn't go unheard by me and Felix who smiled with an expression that agrees with the statement
"Why have you asked about Rai and me after one year?" She asked
"I don't know when I saw you two walking in the garden hand in hand I couldn't help but be curious" I answered honestly
"I see" she replied
After that she didn't ask another question, and the 3 of us continued catching up with each other about what we missed for a year well mainly Libertia talking about her son 'Rai' and Felix asking questions, me replying every once in a while.
'Libertia, she changed, she smiles so softly, so beautifully' I thought not noticing that this pleasant feeling will cause the rift between me and my son in the near future.

(A/n: let's dive in to the plot and I'll explain a bit about Rai. I'll make Claude realize his love for Libertia,harsh I know since she'll die too, anyways he'll love Libertia and Diana the same, and when I said I'll make him realize his love for Libertia its because he liked her even before but didn't realize it or rather he was unable to recognize it. At the characters description Libertia was titled the reincarnator,I'll soon write a chapter about Libertia and why is she the reincarnator tho I'm sure a few of you guys already has an Idea. About Rai, Libertia describes him as a person who's hard to read that's because Rai doesn't show emotions over his thoughts, and what he hears, she also noticed about Rai not being able to differentiate different kinds of feelings and emotions of his own, or other people's. Mostly people like this have a hard time holding there tongues from saying what they see and what they want to say, at least for me, so how does Rai, speak to them and how does he understand what they are trying to tell and show him and the possible emotions there feeling during that particular conversation, the answer is he rely on his perception, he observes the person talking to him and speak based on his conclusion to avoid offending them. Anyways! I hope that helped you understand more about our mc, and helped you see what I'll be planning on doing with Claude and Libertia.)
