Jane:"-And as the lights went off one by one, the air in the environment felt heavier...way more horrible...nothing but silence was heard"
Jane was telling an horror story to the three girls, who were fascinated by her imagination
Jane:"Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a silhouette making itself present with time. Once he noticed it and turned at quick speeds, it was no longer there..."
Koishi:"Ooh! What happened after??" Asked Koishi with curiosity
Jane:"While he wasn't aware, the figure began emerging behind him-"
Kokoro seemed a bit scared as she was now hugging Satori
Jane:"-it made it's way to the protagonist, step by step, opening it's wide and horrendous mouth on the way. While he didn't notice...the creature quickly-"
Y/N & Logan:"AAHHH!!!"

With our shout, we managed to scare all of the girls, Jane included

Logan:"In our defense, this game is scary as heck"

Koishi, Kokoro and Satori got to me and saw us playing on the cellphones
Koishi:"What are you doing?" Said Koishi hugging me from behind
Y/N:"Playing this thing, tomorrow's halloween so we want to finish this part and do the halloween trials when it's the day"
Logan:"Oi Y/N! Did you get the heart of that monster?" Shouted Logan while clearly being chased by the Mimic

Jane sighed and got to the girls
Jane:"You all can go to sleep, i'll make sure Logan wont sleep late"

Jane:"Because he's responsible and knows when he should do stuff"

I turned off my phone and got up, stretching after so

Satori:"I'll stay to keep Koishi safe" Reassured Satori with her usual smile
Jane:"Come on Logan, i wont have you staying awake"
Logan:"Sure sure..."
Both went into the living room. I had planned a sleepover for all of us, and they ended agreeing to it even if it was a bit too late right now
Y/N:"Night you two then, come on Kokoro" I waved at the girls and went upstairs with Kokoro
Satori:"May you rest well"

By the next morning, i woke up earlier than Kokoro and went downstairs
Y/N: God i need to make breakfast for them...i better hurry in case they decide to wake up early-
I then saw smoke coming out from the kitchen
Y/N: Not again...
Hurrying to the kitchen, i saw Koishi laying on the ground while smoke was coming from the stove
Y/N:"Alright what happened?" I asked Koishi
Koishi:"In my defense i was left unsupervised..."
I looked around
Y/N:"Wasn't Satori with you?"
Satori:"In my defense, i was also left unsupervised" She said coming from behind the counter
I sighed and helped Koishi up

Jane:"*yawn* morning crew..." Said Jane coming into the kitchen

The two were sitting on the other side of the counter while i was taking care of making the food

Jane:"Oh right, it's today huh..."
Jane sat next to Satori, waiting for me too
Koishi:"Soooo...what will we do today?"
Y/N:"I got the news about a halloween festival opening near the arcade, they'll be selling many kinds of sweets, fair games and such-"
Satori:"I'll go" Quickly answered Satori
Koishi:"Ooh! Me too!" Followed up Koishi
Jane:"Why not?"
I chuckled at them
Y/N:"Alright alright, it will be later at night so we better do whatever we can to get ready, get yourselves costumes or something-"
Koishi:"I got a yukata!"
Me and Jane looked at her
Koishi:"Onee-chan made it for me last night! It's really comfortable!"
Satori:"I wanted to try something new so i did that"
Me and Jane looked at each other, then turned to them
Y/N:"What did you do after that?"
Koishi:"We tried to cook but we fell asleep- and...yeah..."
I sighed and shook my head
Y/N:"Next time make sure Jane's with you"
Jane:"Why me-?"
Y/N:"Because that way i can also scold you"
I placed their plates of food infront of them and sat down
Y/N:"Well, eat up"
Just then, we heard footsteps approaching. Kokoro and Logan had woken up and showed up with their tired looks- well i can tell from Logan, but Kokoro's...hard to guess

Logan:"Good morning and happy halloween..."
Signaled the stove, where their plates were placed
Y/N:"Now you can eat"
Koishi began digging in first and fast, us others following after Logan and Kokoro took seats
Logan:"So, we'll do the halloween trials?"
Y/N:"Yep, before going to the fair"
Logan:"Fair?"
I explained him all that i had planned, the place we'll go to and what we'd be doing
Logan:"If it's at the arcade then count on me"
Kokoro nodded, signaling she was also down for it
Y/N:"Get yourselves ready then, we'll leave before midnight"
Everyone:"Hai!"
Timeskip
As we stated before, we would be leaving before midnight- well, we ended up going a bit earlier than 9pm to get to see whatever was there-
Koishi:"WOAAAAAH!" Exclaimed the little green haired
We didn't really dress up in Halloween costumes. The girls were in yukata while me and Logan just dressed up in normal clothes
Jane:"Boring"
Logan:"If you feel comfortable, you're good to go"
We bumped fists after that
Jane:"Whatever"
Koishi:"Kokoro! Kokoro! Look over there!" She pointed at some fair games on the street
Kokoro and Koishi rushed up to the games
Satori:"K-Koishi! You'll get lost!" Said Satori while running behind them

Jane:"Just as old times huh, how about we enter the arcade and see if they have anything new?" Offered Jane
Logan:"Sure, that sounds like a plan"
Without a choice in the matter, i decided to go with them to explore the fair. Entering the arcade, we saw a ton of people on many of the machines and some even had costumes on
James:"Y/N, Logan, Jane!" Exclaimed the arcade owner James while coming to us
Jane:"Hey! How's the fair going?"
James:"Extremely well, we managed to get the attention of a lot of people!"
He pointed at the crowd, all were invested in a game or were watching a guy singing against a dancing cat on a DDR
Y/N:"Sounds like you're doing well"
James:"Indeed i am, also that's a sad new what you told us about Sally, i didn't think she'd be that kind of girl..."
We remembered what had happened to her. Despite her being evil and using Gensokians for her own purposes...i somehow have the feeling she could've been a better person
Y/N:"Y-yeah- hold on, who told you about that?"
James shrugged
James:"A magician never reveals his tricks. That stuff aside, how about i show you some magic tricks i've been working on? My dream's to become a magician as you may see"
He took out a staff of cards, all shuffling between his hands in an elegant and impossible way

Koishi:"Woah! Kokoro over here!"
We turned tot he voice, seeing Koishi passing by while Kokoro and Satori tried to follow up
James:"Is that your little sister, Y/N?"
All of us stayed silent for a second
Y/N:"U-uhm...no, she's actually my girlfriend"
James:"Ah, i remember you told me she was your little sister somewhere before..."
Jane:"Well, good seeing you James but i think you have some stuff to deal with here at the fair, don't you?"
He snapped his fingers
James:"Right, thanks for reminding me! Have fun!" He then left us to another side of the arcade
Logan and Jane dragged me to a place without much people nearby
Jane:"How?"
Y/N:"I-i have no idea, i thought Satori, Koishi and i erased everyone's memories...maybe we forgot about him"
Logan:"At least that's solved..."
Soon enough, Satori came to us with some many candies she got
Y/N:"And Koishi?"
She pointed at Koishi going hand-in-hand with Kokoro, both seemingly sharing their treats
Y/N:"Well, glad to know i could change their relationship"
Satori nodded and handed us some candies. We left towards the two other girls and managed to catch up with them
Koishi:"Hi Y/N-nii! This fair thing is awesome!" She exclaimed cheerfully
Kokoro:"Can we go to more?" Asked Kokoro with excitement...somehow
Y/N:"Sure, i'll see how to arrange that..."
Kokoro & Koishi:"Yay!" Both exclaimed happily
Satori had a smile, seeing her sister being this happy was something unique for her as i see
Jane:"So then, we'll be going out more? I guess you getting in a relationship was for the better. Hopefully Logan here will also get in one and stop being a shut-in-neet"

We all laughed a bit, in exception of Kokoro who was too immersed in her treat
James:"Alright everyone! I must thank you all for being here!" Said James through the speakers
Everyone at the place was paying complete atention
James:"As you're all to know, we do this most times to reunite and see if we can grow more! As i see, we have some many newcomers too and some talented people at the games"
Logan patted my back
James:"Now then, let us give a beginning to the anual Halloween games!"
Everyone began clapping, filling the ambient with the cheers from the people
Koishi:"Anual Halloween Games?" Asked Koishi with confusion
Y/N:"Yup, they're to determine who's the best at which category, and guessing by it all, it's gonna be about games or something of the sort"
Suddenly, a curtain raised up and revealed a labyrinth on the forest
Jane:"Oh god..."
James:"This is an endless maze made by me! It's specially made to confuse it's players while they travel through. However, it has something special as well"
He came out from another curtain and pressed a button on the controller he showed on his hand, making the labyrinth be darkened
James:"No light can go in and jumpscares wait at every turn! Whoever manages to get out first will win something special from my part!"
Everyone seemed excited for it...except of me, Logan and Jane
Koishi:"Lets go Y/N-nii!"
Y/N:"I uhh...pass" I almost instantly rejected
Koishi:"Aww...why?"
I scratched the back of my neck
Y/N:"I...never got along with mazes..."
Satori raised her hand
Y/N:"Yes?"
Satori:"I'll make sure she doesn't get lost, we'll be entering and exiting in no time"
Kokoro and Koishi nodded
Y/N:"Very well, be careful in there though"
They hugged me and went to an stablished line
James:"Here are the rules...if you see something coming, run! Happy Halloween Games!"
A backwards count was said through the speakers, reaching zero by the time everyone rushed in. Time had passed since then, me and the other two just hearing the screams from the people inside but none from the other three
Jane:"Do you think they're alright?"
Y/N:"They will be, i trust them after all"
Timeskip
We were now walking home by the time. Koishi was asleep on my back while Satori held a frame with a picture of all of us in it and Kokoro a new mask floating alongside her
Y/N:"Who would've said those were the rewards" I said looking at them
Kokoro and Satori smiled. If you're wondering how it went, Koishi ended up in first place somehow while Kokoro and Satori came in second and third, Koishi winning both objects but giving the mask to Kokoro
Satori:"This sure was fun"
Jane:"Alright you four, we'll be living now" She said walking to a different direction with Logan. We waved as both disappeared into another road
Kokoro:"We have to do it again"
Y/N:"When i have the time i'll think of it" I answered kind of instantly
Kokoro:"Good enough"
The arcade was fun, me and Logan even tried imitating that catboy's movements on the DDR but we both failed miserably. Once arrived at home, i opened the door so they would be able to enter and closed it once everyone was in
Y/N:"Alright stinkys, go take a shower and get to bed" I said walking Koishi to our room
Both girls left towards the bath. Me, once at the room, Koishi sleepily talked to me
Koishi:"Y/N?.."
Y/N:"Hey Koi, are you feeling alright now?"
She nodded and smiled
Koishi:"Thank you..."
Y/N:"No big deal, it's my job"
I smiled at her and kissed her forehead, hearing her giggle as i walked to the door and opened it
Y/N:"Happy Halloween, my youkai girl"
Koishi:"Happy Halloween, my dear love~"
I left the room and closed the door, heading downstairs to reflect on everything that had happened as i sat on the couch
Y/N: What a day...i'll make sure to tell Satori tomorrow or later if she's still awake about this..."
Just then however, i saw some kind of gap opening in the air as a really familiar face showed up
Yukari:"Greetings again Y/N" The familiar face being Yukari's, the person who helped this happen
Y/N:"Hi Yukari, needed something?" She nodded at me and got out of the portal
Yukari:"I want to tell you something, for that however must be between us, alone"
That got me wondering, what would she possibly want for it to be us alone?
