-Flashback-
"Where you going" i asked raising up.
"I gotta handle sum business" saint said.
I watched him as he picked the gun up off the dresser and put it in his pants.
"You ever gonna stop" i asked.
"Armani dont start this shit bro" saint said.
"What if you get hurt saint" i said.
"Im not going to" saint said.
"What about me what about whenever we have kids you gonna still be doing this" i said.
"What else im supposed to do to support us saint said.
"I want you to get a job saint a real one" i yelled.
"Fuck you want me to do get a job at burger king assum mani" saint said.
"Im a dealer bro thats all i know" he also said.
"Whatever saint... if you wanna go out and get yourself killed then thats you" i said.
-Flashback over-
I was in the kitchen washing dishes until i heard my phone ring.
I dried my hands off and seen it was destiny calling.
"Hello" i said answering the phone.
"Mani d- dee in jail" destiny said crying over the phone.
"Des stop crying what happened" i said.
"He killed saint mani i dont know what to do" kayla yelled over the phone.
I froze and dropped the phone.
I knew 1 day i was gonna get this phone call.
But didn't think it was gonna be so soon.
I ran upstairs and put my black crocs on and grabbed my purse.
I grabbed the phone.
I ran out the door and got inna car.
Tears were flowing down my face.
I couldn't believe this was happening everything felt like a dream.
I drove to the hospital and parked onna street.
I sat inna car for a minute to try and get myself together.
I got out and walked into the waiting lobby.
I walked up to the reception desk.
"Is sai- i mean khai is khai thompson checked in here" i asked.
"Yes he jus-" the lady said before getting cut off.
"Mani" i heard a familiar voice say.
I turned around and it was lani.
She ran up to me and hugged me.
"Where have you been we've been worried about you" lani said.
"Is he okay" i asked.
"We dont know they haven't told us anything" lani said.
She grabbed my hand and we walked over to everybody else.
I looked around and seen ace, bam, tay, manman, saints mom, morgan and trinity.
Morgan was leaning her head on tays shoulder until she looked up and saw me.
"Mani" morgan yelled.
We hugged until she backed away.
She felt my stomach and looked at me.
"Your pregnant" she asked.
"Yea um surprise" i said fake smiling.
"Omg really" everybody said.
Everybody was hugging me except trinity.
She was just sitting down looking salty.
"Oh so he got you pregnant too" trinity said.
I looked up at ace and he didn't say anything.
"Oh you finally got yo wish to be apart of the family" i said rolling my eyes.
"Sucks to be bm number 2" trinity said.
"Can i slap this bitch her face aint pregnant" i said.
Bam laughed.
"Can yall stop" manman said.
Saints mom walked up to me and hugged me.
"Where you been girl I've missed you" she said.
"I needed some time to myself im sorry" i said.
"Its okay babydoll" she said.
"Hows the baby" she asked.
"Shes good" i said smiling.
"She" his mom said smiling.
I nodded my head.
"Hes gonna be so happy" his mom said.
I looked over and seen morgan crying.
I walked over to her confused asf.
"What happened" i asked.
"She lost the baby" lani said whispering to me.
I was hella shocked I didn't even know she was pregnant.
I walked over to hug Morgan and she started crying even more.
I let her go and the doctor walked over to us.
"He just got out of surgery and hes good but he does need rest" the doctor said.
"Can we go see him" his mom asked.
"Yes but 1 at a time" the doctor said.
"You go" his mom said to me.
"No you should go check" i said.
"He wants to see you mani you should go" ace said.
I nodded my head and walked down the halls to find room 237.
I walked into the room and seen saint laying there.
I sat in the chair and grabbed his hand.
I sat there crying.
I had so much shit balled up that i just had to let it out.
Saints put me through so much shit and im still here for him.
I felt him move his hand and i looked up.
"Mani" he said sounding confused.
"Yea its me" i said.
"Where you been" he asked smiling.
"Busy" i said.
"Why you crying re what i tell you bout that" he said.
I laughed and wiped my tears.
"Im sorry" he said.
"I dont wanna talk about this right now" i said.
"Where you been we been worried about you" he said.
"Im pregnant" i said.
"Really" he asked.
I nodded my head.
I dropped my head in my hands.
"Why didn't you tell me mani" he said.
"You killed my brother saint i dont know if i can ever forgive you for that" i said.
"I love you Mani I swear i do and i never meant to hurt you" he said.
I got out the chair and started walking towards the door.
"Im moving to Atlanta"i said.
"What you want me to do. Beg you to stay cause im not." he said.
"Im not asking for your permission im just telling you" i said.
I was about to wake out the door until he said.
"Please dont go" he said.
"Dont leave me mani" he said with tears in his eyes.
I walked out the room and started crying more.
I made it to the lobby and tried to walk out.
"What wrong baby what happened" saints mom asked.
" i cant do this right now" i said crying.
I walked out the hospital and got in my car.
I sat down and started crying even harder.
I drove to my moms house.
I got out and started knocking on the door.
She answered it and she looked surprised to see me.
"Armani" she said happy to see me.
I walked in and gave her a hug.
She pulled back and looked down at my stomach.
"Your pregnant" she asked.
"Yea its a girl" i said smiling.
She smiled back and hugged me again.
"Where have you been" she asked.
"I needed some time to myself for a while" i said.
"Im sorry mani i should have never said those things to you" she said.
"Im sorry too" i said.
"Im just happy your back" she said smiling.
"Im not" i said.
"What you mean" she asked.
"Im moving to Atlanta with auntie meka" i said biting my lip.
"No the hell you not" she said yelling at me.
"Im 18 now i dont have to listen to you anymore" i said.
She chuckled.
"Oh so you grown now ha well take yo grown ass out my house" she said.
I started walking towards the door but i felt the need to say something.
But I swallowed my words and walked outside.
I got inna car and pulled off.
I drove home and went to pack my clothes.
I texted my aunt to tell her i was on the way to the airport.
I walked outside and locked the door.
When i made it to the airport it was almost time for my flight to take off.
I stood in line to give the lady my ticket.
I gave her the ticket and boarded the plane.
I sat in my seat and looked out the window.
I put my hand on my stomach.
I started to think about if what i was doing was a mistake.
