The glimpse of God rays through the trees
A fire starting on the pillage of their dwelling.
Planes and tanks still ablaze, yet the soldier was not phased.
A bullet wound, a scratch, all can be patched
But the war was not won
Still fighting to be done
The final two stood, rifle to rifle
Neither soldier to be the final face.
Home was left but nothing was right
Only two men were left from the fight
It seems the unknown, takes victory again
Yet the end of war is no-way the end.
