Madara felt the claws digging deeper and deeper into his throat, which is why his black blood flowed out of his throat more and more like a small waterfall and dripped onto the vampire's shirt. The black shirt Madara was wearing was getting more and more soaked with Madara's liquid, but luckily this was not visible, because the shirt was also black. But that didn't bother him. Seriously, no one would care what his shirt looked like when you were dying.

Therefore, Madara tried everything to escape from the arms of the elder, which of course brought a lot of difficulties. Madara tried everything. He himself tried to use a technique that vampires actually only use when they are in a fight and are in an emergency situation. Madara immediately grabbed Hashirama's arms, rolled them over once so that Hashirama's joints cracked, and retreated as fast as he could.

Since Hashirama's mind was completely possessed, he tried to stop Madara, but he could not. As the elder tried to run after Madara, his mind became clearer, so Hashirama suddenly realized what he was doing and immediately stopped and stood still.

"Madara."

He looked down the hallway Madara was running through, stopping haltingly in the process. It was all rather strange, which is why Hashirama was also kind of confused. What had happened?

Hashirama bit his lips, which made them bleed a little, while his eyes continued to look straight down the hallway. He grumbled.

"What happened? I don't understand, what did I just do?"

He looked around. He almost couldn't remember anything, except that when he walked out of the room Rosanna was in. Hashirama reached his hands to his head and ran his fingers through his soft, straight hair. His face winced a little at the remark of pain. He cursed,

"My head..."

He didn't understand why he suddenly felt this pain in his head, but nothing surprised him since that moment. He breathed in and out, finally exhaling deeply once and lowering his hands again. Looking around, he felt a lump in his throat that his mind pulled away. Hashirama slowly placed his left hand on his dog, hoping that this would calm his nausea a bit. But instead, it only got worse, so Hashirama couldn't help but fall to the ground with his knees. He gagged at the sensation he felt, but with his senses, nothing but air came out of his mouth.

"Damn..."

The vampire frowned as he kept his eyes closed. For years he had never felt this bad, until that night Rosanna had shown up. Thoughts played in Hashirama's head, did Rosanna have something to do with Hashirama's condition? The vampire stood up without hesitation and slowly opened his eyes. Then he looked backwards to the door that was built into the wall of Rosanna's room. He took a small step towards the door, but stopped unsuspectingly.

The feeling that Hashirama had lost something caused him to pause, whose upper body he scanned with his right hand and continued to creep toward the back of his neck. Startled, he wrenched his eyes open,

"My cross necklace."

For him, this necklace was the most important thing he still had, which is why he also looked around in panic, hoping that he would still find his necklace. Although Hashirama is calm and meek, his mind had long been almost connected to the darkness, which is why deep inside he is seething with anger. Full of drive, the vampire looked around everywhere, but his gaze remained on the floor the whole time. Fortunately, he remembered and looked straight ahead, to also look at the chests of drawers that stood against the walls. When his eyes fell on the wall, his breath caught. He swallowed sheepishly and frowned, trying not to look scared.

"What... is going on here?"

Hanging on the wall was his cross necklace, which looked like it was nailed to it. Uncertainly and very slowly, Hashirama walked up to the necklace and looked at it closely. At a meter distance, he slowly stopped. His gaze just wouldn't leave the cross necklace, which is why Hashirama's thoughts sank back into the depths. When his gaze was like a tunnel focused only on the cross necklace, Hashirama very slowly raised his right hand to his cross necklace to take it again.

"Did Madara take the necklace...? No. Why would he?"

His voice sounded very soft, almost imperceptible. Now he managed to touch the cross necklace, but he did not take it. Instead, his fingertips very gently caressed the cross necklace until the vampire finally took it all the way in his hand, ready to take it. Suddenly he heard a very familiar voice that made his non-beating heart beat again.

"Hashirama."

The vampire turned to the side, startled, and looked frantically down the hallway, almost shouting,

"Viktoria!?"

He looked around meanwhile, which is why he felt like his mind was no longer normal. He gasped for a moment, very quickly took the cross necklace from the wall and tied it around himself. His look became more and more serious, which could already be seen by the fact that Hashirama frowned. With inhuman speed, Hashirama ran through the hallway and stopped in front of a stair railing, leaning his upper body forward and looking around the vestibule.

His hands slowly slid on the banister as Hashirama slowly turned around, squinted his eyes, and leaned back. He tilted his head up slightly as his dark voice rang out,

"I'm crazy..."

Now he opened his eyes again, tilting his head to the left to look at the clock. It showed 4:28 a.m., which is why Hashirama sat up again.

"Why is it so early already? Did the conversation with Madara take so long?"

He practically asked himself that, since he was barely in his right mind during the conversation with Madara. Since Hashirama was at his wits' end, he had to take deep breaths in and out each time to try to regain his composure. Leaning further against the railing again, he tilted his head straight ahead and saw Rosanna standing right in front of her room door with the pole from which the plasma bag was hanging.

The vampire felt a strange sensation inside him when he caught Rosanna's eye. He hesitated a bit to walk towards her, but he didn't want to wait any longer and thus ran towards her with inhuman speed. As Rosanna tried with full concentration not to fall down due to her dizziness, she got the feeling that her heart would jump out of her chest when Hashirama suddenly stood in front of her without a single sound and watched her.

"My God! Did you scare me..."

Out of pure shock, Rosanna let her body sink down a little while she gripped her left hand her left half of her chest. Hashirama couldn't help but smile and thus had to smile when Rosanna strangely gave him a feeling of happiness.

"𝑰 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒂 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏. 𝑨𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒍𝒍, 𝒂 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒍. 𝑵𝒐, 𝒊 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆..."

"I see you are feeling better."

Hashirama's smile disappeared, which is why Rosanna noticed it too and slowly stood up again. She stammered,

"I think. I woke up just now when I heard you scream...?"

Rosanna realized at that moment that the scream actually came from Hashirama, so she furrowed her brow and looked at Hashirama worriedly. Now she stepped a bit closer to Hashirama to have a closer look at him. It made the vampire a little nervous, which is why he swallowed and stepped backwards. He knew for a fact that Rosanna knew something was wrong, so he decided to change the subject. He sighed,

"If you're feeling better, I'd suggest you go home already today. I'll let you-."

Rosanna stopped him.

"Stop changing the subject. Tell me, what's wrong?"

Rosanna became serious and actually already felt anger inside her when Hashirama never wanted to say what he had. At the same time, it also made her sad, as she couldn't have it when someone she liked was hurting deep inside. Now Rosanna looked ice cold into Hashirama's eyes, which is why Hashirama couldn't help but tell her. He sighed sheepishly.

"As I said, it's not really any of your business, but..."

Rosanna's gaze remained skeptical, as did Hashirama's. He looked her deep in the eyes and held his gaze there while his expression looked hard as nails.

"But I probably have no other choice. It's that I could perceive the voice of my then wife which is actually completely impossible. Besides..."

"Yes?"

Since Hashirama didn't want Rosanna to know that all this might have something to do with her, he decided not to tell her for the first time. After all, he didn't want her to worry or feel hurt. He walked up to her slowly, put his hands on her shoulder very gently and tried to smile.

"Good... You can stay longer and rest with us. But I'd say that you should send a letter for your parents. After all, I'm sure they're worried about you."

Hashirama's skeptical smile became more and more a realistic smile, until at some point it became charming. As they both looked deeply into each other's eyes, Hashirama realized that Rosanna was getting a little angry when Hashirama once again changed the subject. Therefore, he winked at her why Rosanna suddenly forgot what she wanted and blushed slightly.

"Do that please. Yes?"

He sounded really very gentle and calm, that's why Rosanna couldn't help but agree and nodded.

"But, please tell me later."

Rosanna became serious again as she came back to herself and stepped back, the vampire dropping his arms again and delaying his smile. He only nodded in response until he finally walked past Rosanna and stepped inside the room. Hashirama tilted his head back slightly to turn his gaze to Rosanna.

"Weren't you going to write a letter for your parents? I'll keep you company, too."

Rosanna grinned. Now she turned and entered her room as well, whose Hashirama closed the door behind Rosanna's back afterwards.

"I thank you for your company. Honestly, I was feeling a little lonely just now."

Rosanna smiled, but actually just looked down at the floor in shyness. Hashirama grinned as well,

"I'd love to."

Even though Hashirama didn't want to admit it, he also felt alone just like Rosanna. He walked toward a desk and waved after Rosanna over to him.

"Here you can write. As you can see everything is already there."

Rosanna looked at the writing table. It was made of simple wood, while ink, pen and leaves were already available. There was also a candlestick on it, so 3 candles were already burning. Hashirama took the desk chair, pushed it out and asked Rosanna to sit on it.

"Madam..."

He laughed out loud while Rosanna couldn't hold back her laughter either and sat down on the chair. Meanwhile, Rosanna was writing the letter, getting to know Hashirama even more as they both chatted. It was 5:00 in the morning and despite everything, everything was quite dark outside as there was still a heavy thunderstorm. Rosanna looked out at the gloom as she cursed a little.

"Will the sun ever shine for once?"

Her tone was skeptical. Hashirama did not answer, but got up from the bed and walked towards Rosanna to take the tube of the plasma bag from her. Very gently he took the tube in his hand and pulled it off very slowly, trying not to hurt Rosanna. He pushed the pole at his side while looking at Rosanna with a gentle expression on his face.

"How are you?"

Rosanna smiled.

"Much better, thank you. However, I am a little tired."

Saying this, she suddenly had to yawn. Hashirama wandered his hands to Rosanna's head to untie the band that stopped her bleeding on the head. He looked at her expectantly.

"Is everything all right?"

"I think so..."

Slowly Rosanna walked to the bed until she lay down and looked at Hashirama from below, who was standing directly opposite her, smiling slightly at her. He took her hand, looking her straight in the eyes, and gave her a hand kiss that made Rosanna blush a little.

"Sweet dreams..."

As Hashirama was about to walk out of the room, Rosanna suddenly stopped him,

"I want to thank you again for everything."

Hashirama turned around, but his look was serious again.

"With pleasure. But now sleep."

Rosanna smiled, and before she knew it, Hashirama was gone. Slowly and gently, she settled back down as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
